  1. Yeah, I can confirm I have exactly same feeling. I hope it will improve for those who are staying. PS: I just cancelled my sub.

  3. I have not big expectations of 1.2 patch, but I am willing giving it a chance. Honestly, my guild has 120 people are there are 5 online in the EU prime time. When we have a raid day, I log in with a hope to raid, but it is 50:50 if we manage to get group together... Last 2 weeks I logged on 4 times... Did some Biochem leveling, 1 raid (out of 2 raids that went going) and 1 flashpoint. If it won't change within 1 month since now on (my subscription got renewed yesterday), I will cancel. I have no intention on looking for new guild as I like the poeple but game is missing fun for me. In meantime I am happily driving armor in World of Tanks and have fun. Diablo 3 is coming soon too.
  4. About year or two till some huge change. They paid about 100mil$ for develpment. A lot of marketing what is not known... I guess about same, ie. 100mil$ for marketing. Massive release of boxes cover development. Last info was about 1.7mil subscribers after 2months. There been more in the first month and some left after it, so I guess we can take those to get what they cashed in directly by box sales and 2x 15,-$... Something around 100mil$... So if they have 100$ mil hole from marketing left, they need 650k subscribers for 10month yet. They they can let it die and replace CEO for the lost time and wasted resources. EA shareholders will be questioning lost profit by wasted opportunities.
  5. Do not kick into rushers. They just noticed it earlier that this game has a problem at level 50. I am Joe Doe, 1 level 50 character, 2 alts not even level 15. People are leaving left and right loosing any interest to log in later. Advices you have enjoy all out there or you have no right to complain is just wrong. Game gotta catter to player need, not that player has to bend around the game. But you will figure it out when servers population will sink low enough--broken economy, soloing those dreaded dailies etc. I just wonder when we see 1st announcement about server mergers starting.
  6. I am adding some of my thought to this. SWTOR as most of MMOs around are of the family where content is provided. Leveling phase is moment when you see a lot of game, but basically it is here to learn you use your character and prepare you on the end-game with challenging operations... Once you hit level 50, you usually do not care about what was there before. BioWare got it however wrong in the understanding what is more important for MMO longevity. They focused more on story and leveling experience and shot themselves into knee with not well thought end-game content. I think that the most challenging group of customers for BioWare are pure PvE player who plays in his free time and wants to raid a bit. The one who does not care about PvP or companions or some elusive min-maxing of things... I think this category of players is the one that decides about success of game in long-term. The simple PvE player, once he reaches level 50, is left with 3 things: 1. repetitious dailiy quests 2. flashpoints 3. operations ad 1. Well, the only reason people do them is to get 3 pieces of Rakata gear and once done with them, they will barely feel any motivation to do them, aside of being forced due to repair costs... Key-points: boring, forcing user to do them ad 2. Flashpoints are fun... 3 times each if it does not bugs. Important point there, you do not go into raid before you do them all as you loose all motivation to do them. Key-points: bugged, same loot as raids ad 3. Operations Basically the only long term motivation people need in the end-game content is to clear these and get geared. Things still get bugged. Normal mode kills flashpoints and shows you all in there. Heroic and nightmare are finally providing the raiding experience, but you seen all in the normal mode already. Key-points: to many difficulty levels turn raids into repetitious thing --- BioWare rumbles about their 1.2 patch with massive changes and lot of content "never seen in industry before"... Well, no. Just to remember them, EVE Online players while plugged by their own problems get all patches and massive version jumps for free as part of the subscription. Legacy system is purely and only sugar without any nutrition value. Once level 50, you use companion only for soloing dailies, so it brings nothing new. It basically just tries to sell the part of game that did not make it into rushed release and hint on rolling an alt. Kaon under siege is really nice instance. But honestly, it is "just a flashpoint" and it is not raiding content. BioWare should stick fingers out of the nose and do not release any patch without new raiding instance. Because only option to raid something new, unseen and challenging is going to keep PvE player interested in the game. Not mummy-daddy legacy trees or flashpoints... And I slowly think it would be as well helpful to reduce those 3 difficulty modes into 2 only, renaming heroic into normal and nightmare into heroic... Something unseen is motivating, not something every Joe Doe see already...
  7. Well, I used 2 same relics with defence rating bonus and both were put on the same cooldown. So I could not use other before the 1st cooldown run out. That is the validated reality. Do your relics differ? Edit: Just tested it extra... Both relic got the cooldown of 2mins... Relic of the Deadly Bastion.
  8. I got bit surprised when I used one of my relic and both of them got the cooldown running, so I could not use the second one. Can somebody clarify to me, how the relic cooldowns work? Is there some system how the relic cooldowns are shared? Do they _all_ share same cooldown? Are tthere some families of relics that share it? How it works? Please, enlighten me if you can!
  9. I am not sure this is fully truth. If you remove all mods from the orange item, it can well be there is no limit on the class/level on it. But some orange items do have requirement for minimum level or class when empty. So I guess you run into that. Speaking about orange items, I wished I knew at start, that base damage of the weapons and armor stats of armor are changing too regarding on hilt/barrel/armoring mod. I thought at start those are fix. Costed me solo runs on Black Talon and trying with low-level mods if it works or not.
  10. Well, to be honest, I do use strafe. But I do not turn with keyboard, so I remapped A and D instead.
  11. I played sniper till level 18... Then rolled Juggernaut as a side-kick and after 10 levels deleted my sniper... As a sniper I was doing well with single mobs, as long as my pet was able to tank them long enough. But I had feeling it goes very slow to kill groups and I had quite a downtimes between groups. Juggernaut is sort of like a truck. I can chainpull standard groups and I am cleaning stuff twice so quickly... I find the Juggernaut story so far more entertaining as sniper was. My juggernaut is now at level 17 and I am not sure I will move by agent towards sniper anymore, rather considering a combat medic... Edit: Yes, I am aware I am low-level nub.
