i've noticed when your playing a different loadout gear marked for the class your doing story mode is in red so you cannot equip it. also just completed a quest on hoth as a sith warrior using sith inq loadout and thr rewards were choosing gear for the inquisitor companions and not for the warrior. seems sym link is not handled correctly for class specific gear and rewards

i find the planets smaller compared to swg but i do agree about the load times on the screens and it's even more of a pain when you are changing instances to join your group/ops ( that is if the ui doesn't bug out or client crashes )

i have done this just fine, what i did was copy the game to my external hd and installed win 8. once that was done ran the downloaded installer to get the files needed in the users folder/metro ui and any reg entries and closed the installer when it wanted to download file and copied the ones from my external hd.

intead of just doing character transfers why not take all the low pop servers and merge them into just a few servers? one of the target character servers is fatman, and that server at times has a login que so why should people move to that server and have to wait to play the game when they can stay where they are and play? you have 15 or so low pop servers, take those servers and make 3 or so servers from them and close down the others and bring them back as needed ( if ever needed ) once the character transfers are all done and the servers are dead they will be closed anyways and what about those people who didnt transfer before hand because they didnt have a sub for whatever reason, lack of money, real life obligations they may loose all their work on their char(s). seems to me it is more prudent to just merge the servers, many mmo's have done merges over transfers ( still had transfers for those that wanted to move to a specific server )
