i would try out the main stat and crit for the second one, see which one works for you

go with the combat tech gear for the set bonus( use your own shell if you don't like the look of the basic pvp gear). aim augs, stack power,surge, make sure your crit is around 22-25%. make sure there is NO accuracy or alacrity pieces in your gear.

im going with my tactics vg and i prob do all specs for my slinger and hopefully there is an double xp weekend soon so i can go vigilance guardian, anni mara, and tank/balance shadow

yea i have seen more ap pt and alot of shieldtechs lately . i think i'm still one of the few vg that run tactics ( which i have been running since the rakghoul event ) it will be interesting see if more ppl switch over to tactics/ap in 2.4

Doesn't explosive surge trigger plasma cell now or did read that wrong? If it does that should make up for the cut on plasma cell because it on more people ( at least in pvp)? i think pyro/assault vg/pts will alright i would like to see more tactics vanguards ( tired of it just being me) but that doesn't like its going to happen:(

Hi everybody, i was wondering how does it look for vanguard tanks in 2.0. i haven't tanked since the rakghoul event have they improved or not ? i was thinking of going back since it looks like tactics got ******* on:(. or should i just stick to my gunslinger?

as being one of five (if that ) people that runs tactics on my server i don't like it. now it makes the tactics tree even more unappealing imo. wish they would have buffed tactics instead . but im ok with commandos getting it they need all they help they can get.

hunker down is interuptable if you use the smoke grenade from the sharpshooter tree

i like this idea. i hate when im on the edge on huttball and a warrior nxt to me gets leaped at and they score:( i would also like to snipers/gunslingers get cells like the trooper( im think every class gets a form/cell ,not sure about sages though) and buff one of our defensive cooldowns
