  6. The Drunk Tanks are an Imperial guild on the Shadowlands server. We have 6 progression raiding teams, ranging from well experienced to up and coming. Our top three teams have killed at least 7/10 bosses between NiM DF and DP. Our top two teams are both 4/5 NiM DF/DP. Our Top team is ranked 2nd on the server in current progression at 1/5 HM Rav & ToS The Drunk Tanks secondary focus is conquest. We are a smaller guild than most conquest guilds on the Shadowlands; however, our team also has the eighth most points on the server. We have recorded six wins over the course of conquest thus far, only one of which was during a Total Galactic War week. We also consistently finish within the top 3 on almost any planet we go to. The Drunk Tanks are a moderately large but very good guild to be in if you are on the Shadowlands server. We are well respected and known throughout the server and host many community events to help boost server activity and give back to the server that we love. So, if you're looking for a good home, you probably won't find one much better than The Drunk Tanks! 7. Wish I had time to help put something together. These events and such always seem to come around when I'm the busiest. Especially the new expansion, couldn't get much closer to finals week could they.....
  8. Shout out to the men and women of <hoB-Bit>. We went in to this week totally unprepared for a crafting battle, especially with the sheer volume of planets, and couldn't recover from your second wind push. Congrats on winning Ilum! Wining as a small guild takes a **** load of work, and you guys certainly got it done! You've taught us a lot of lessons that we won't soon forget . Looking forward to meeting you on the battlefield again some time!
  9. First of all, I'm already in a discussion with the OP/GM of Triumph, regarding the post. Secondly, this thread does not need to be derailed as well as a result. Regarding the post, there isn't much that can be done. It has already been quoted and spread throughout the forums (example above). However I ask you to to take a step back and think before you continue posting. This is now a discussion between guild leaders and does not need drawn further into the public forum.
  10. Shout out to WOOK and Triumph for a very entertaining battle to watch and an awesome display of what dedication can achieve. We will most definitely continue avoiding you in the future . Another shout-out to Midnight Company for a hell of a match for Balmorra on the Imp side. Not gonna lie, we knew Pandemonium would take Taris and we expected Balmorra to fall into our hands, but you guys made damn sure that wasn't the case. Sunday and Monday were some of the most fun days I've had in this game. I haven't been that into SWTOR since the first time that bastard NiM Kephess dropped dead in EC. I can't thank you guys enough for giving me a reason to love this game again, and for uniting my guild the way only the pressure of imminent defeat can . Finally, I know I'm a little biased but shout out to my guildies in TDT. We're pretty small compared to most of the guilds we face in conquest, but you guys still put up a fight. Love the heart and dedication. F*** it, shout out to the whole server, this week was really awesome. Conquest may not be perfect, but nothing ever is, and no matter what its clearly brought some life and more importantly competition back to the game. I love to see the friendly guild rivalries start reforming, like back in the good old launch days, and I love to be a part of a great community.
  11. As my signature says, I'm the GM of a guild called <The Drunk Tanks> on the Shadowlands. Not gonna lie, I didn't read this whole thread, but here's my two cents. Compared to the other conquest "powerhouses" on The Shadowlands, TDT is a small guild, about 109 active accounts. Where as Triumph, Wook, ORD, and the other big hitters are usually closer to 200+. However, we've now conquered two planets, Quesh (which was openly contested), and Balmorra (Empire only). We're proof that guild size doesn't mean everything, but that's really only because we craft. We've won because of four main things: we have lots of alts, we craft a lot, we're not afraid to dump a few million credits, and we damn sure want to win. I like that the crafting gives sheer numbers a little less weight in conquest. But at the same time the system isn't perfect. We could never compete against Wook or Triumph if they went balls-to-the-walls like they did this week. At the same time, I'd like to not have to essentially "buy" planets. So I'd like to make a suggestion as to how to improve the system. I have no idea as to how viable it would be, or if it's even possible to do, but it's at least something to think about. Having objectives based on percentage of guild participation would favor us littler guys (fewer people easier to raise %). Obviously you couldn't base all conquest around percentage of participation, because that screws the big guys. So what would the viability of a hybrid be? Some objectives based on how many times you do them, some objectives based on what % of people do them, and obviously weight them with points. -EDIT- Spelling
