  1. hope no one says those little dwarves that make the sqeeky pig noises when they talk. if that happened i would shoot them all
  2. I dont mean playable characters I ment any starwars races including the ones from TOR
  3. If on earth we made first contact with an alien race. Which SW or TOR race would you like to see and why? For me I would pick Bothans, Ive always liked the thought of Dog people existing. I wonder if they would let me pet them.
  4. Bioware doesnt like you to post negative feed back in general discusion because it effects their bottom line. when new players research the game they check general discussion and may defer purchase apon reading negative feedback closed in 3 2 1....
  5. I believed this game would be ground breaking and earth shattering. I had hopes this would be an MMO that I would play for at least 5-10 years. Now it's been a month and I'm having a hard time just logging into this game due to mass dissapointments and bordem. list of things wrong 1. Emersion is non existant: There are no night and day cycles, the back ground and the creatures on all the planets are lifeless. Example: When i started in Ord Mantel and was walking out to quest there were beasts standing in the cavern in weird awkward positions doing nothing, just standing there motionless. at first i thought they were guard dogs or something but the positions and directions in which they were standing didnt make sence . 2. There is no community: there are no chat bubble so it makes it hard to communicate threw the spam of general chat. 3. No PVP goals: pvp is a pointless gear grind, most people who pvp do it for gear and once they get it they quit. I think if people were able to afk in start zone they would do that and just watch tv while they waited for the match to end. 4. Choices don't matter: when this game was in developement they made it sound like your choices mattered. Outside your current quest and getting light side or dark side points, it doesnt make a difference what u choose. 5. No ownership: players cannot make this game their own. There is not anything in this game a player can change not even in your own starship. What is the point of having a starship if its the same mass manufactured ship every class gets. 6. Putting players in a box: From the first quest to the last you are boxed in. In other MMO's you see a mountain in the back ground you can walk to it and explore. This game almost everything environmentally cool is a Bitmap in the back ground in the sky. A 2d painting of eye candy. It really feels like not only the space combat is on rails. I have felt boxed in and made to stay on course threw the whole game with absolutly not exploration value. TL;DR, TOR is a wonderful single player game.

  7. no i havnt noticed this bug but there is resolve in this game which is a bar that fills up everytime somone is CC'd. after they are effected by 8 seconds of cc they are immune to all CC abilities which includes knock backs. So this is probably the issue that you are not noticing that they are immune to CC when u try to use it.
  8. I waited for this game to come out for so many years watching every Friday update and getting super excited about the upcoming game. Been playing since release and i am extremely bored. I really cant put my finger on an exact reason either, i run threw the quest line listening to the story till i start falling asleep hearing about how some group is being attacked by someone or something was stolen go retrieve it or oh im not gonna help u till u help me scenarios. ive found myself hitting space bar an awful lot lately and have to say im severely disappointed, i was really hoping that this would be the game that i would stick with for at least 5 years and now within 1 month im at the same point of bordem with this game as i was after 5 years of playing wow. I really dont know how they could fix it and normally i would keep this opinion to myself and i would but i really really really wanted to like this game and i have come up with so many excuses for all the thinks that just frankly suck in this game and i just cant defend it any more. I think when my 3 month sub is up i will move on, hopefully things change before then.
  9. I agree with OP i really dont understand the logic behind some of these quests. I dont know how many times i have defeated an imperial camp and questioned there leader where my choice was either to let him go because he has some how saw the error of his ways (light side choice), or kill him for slaughtering innocents and to keep him from doing further hard aka the greater good (dark side choice). seriously allow a 3rd option of arresting him to face trial for his crimes against humanity. One that really made me mad was there was an imperial commander who ordered bombings of civilian towns for fun and tortured and murdered people. If i didnt want dark side points i had to let him go. So your telling me that during WW2 if they ever captured Hitler it we should have just let him go with a slap on the wrist as long as he promised he wouldnt commit genocide ever again? Really flawed logic if you ask me.
  10. first off im gonna tell myself to cry more noob and l2p just so i can be first but. My passion in all MMO's is pvp, i find it very dynamic and always evolving making me think on my toes to best my foe. In this game I have become so overly frustraited in trying to play a heal role that I cant bring myself to do it any more. In pvp I find myself in my group running into a fight and some guy next to me has a stealther jump him and crit him big so i try to react and click him for an instant heal but the stealther is running around him all sparaticly so i keep clicking him rather then my friend... ok plan B ill see what his name is real fast and then find him on the bar and click him and heal him, oh wait his name is like 5 words long.... Apocolypto major cletus van buren.... hmm which part is his name and which is the title well there is no apocolypto or major or clutus ok he was dead 5 seconds ago while i was trying to find him among the other 4 people taking damage around me but hey if mr apocolypto is around me again ill know who to look for. How im used to playing is mr apocolypto gets jumped i tab target the enemy hit an instant cc. click my instant heal and the game knows i dont wanna heal the enemy so it puts it on my mouse i hover my mouse over my friend in front of me and even if mr enemy jumps in the way of my mouse the smart target system heals the friend behind him. woohoo hes saved. now i can keep mr bad guy targeted as well as mouse over heal my friend at the same time, also keep the enemy dotted, i can interrupt his channeled abilities with cc or just straight out help my dps damage him. HURRAY im contributing twice as much to my team rather then being just a heal bot, and all those other abilities on my bar that arnt heals actually mean something. plus i can now watch the flow of the battle and adjust positioning according to needs to be healed so they dont LOS me rather then camping my raid frame. As is, i find myself staring at health bars on my screen not moving hoping no one sneaks up on me. Then i spam heal across the board and hope no one runs out of range or LOS's me. very very very frustraiting.
  11. to put it into perspective for people who mainly dps, or who have always played by selecting somone then healing them. Not having mouse over healing to someone who has played with it for years would be the same if they didnt allow you to change the key bindings for you skills. So now you can only press 1-0 and alt 1-0 and ctrl 1-0 that should be all you need. yes its slower and a pain in the butt to reach across you key board to hit that 0 but hey, you'll get used to it. Learn to play with the tools you have. Im pretty sure that you would quickly see alot of posts asking to allow key binding which is exactly what the healers here are asking for. Yes we don't 100 percent need it in order to heal effectivly and yes eventually we may get used to this style of healing. But what are the forums for anyway if not to ask for a feature that you would like implemented into the game. Arguing you dont need this to play is not needed, if you dont like this feature its fine just play with the regular UI we are just asking for the option to play how we are comfortable playing.
  12. Any argument stating that a better UI would be dumbing down the game is more or less saying, hey why would u want a lighter to start a fire when rubbing 2 sticks together will work just fine. It is a stupid to not use the tools that have already been developed to make the job more effecient.
  13. With global cool down and the skills not actually activating when you push the button it makes the delay between heals very frustraiting. if u have to click on somone while their dying it take about 1 to .5 seconds to click before you start casting the heal (im not talking about the actual clicking action im talking the reaction time it takes to see somones health dropping to the time it takes to mouse over their name and click it) so most peoples heals wouldnt go off for about 2 to 2.5 seconds and in a boss fight that is an eternity for not having heals. if you were able to mouse over heal it cuts that second off the heals or even if u could queue the heal to your mouse and not self cast then u could have a heal ready to go to click on your tank or raid member so your healing the second you select them rather then select and then start healing. this is a game of time management and with the current ui it is near impossible to be effective and effecient.
  14. Im just talking about in pve mostly when im sitting there taking 2 or 3 melee champs on and i get low enough to where i need to heal so i knock them back to get an uninterrupted heal or 2 off but before my charge global cool down is back they are hitting me again. i just figured it would make sence because they would be concusesd any way.
