I might be interested in this guild. I'm looking for a friendly guild that actually has an active chat and has fun hanging out while playing. I'm also really into RP, but it seems like everything on the Imperial side follows the whole "start as a acolyte, go through trials, etc" which I'm just not that into anymore. It's too overdone. I haven't decided what type of character I'd like to play this time around but I'd like to do something a little different.

I just re-rolled on this server, and I'm playing a character I worked really hard on and want to play - and write about - more. I'm looking for someone to do that with! My character is a light-side/neutral Sith Warrior, basically a total Revan fangirl. She's from a noble family and can be very sheltered and nervous, even paranoid, about anybody finding out she's not a fan of the Dark Side. I'm looking for really any sort of character to partner with her: another Sith, an agent who she's requested to help her, a bounty hunter she hired as a bodyguard, whatever. Anything will work in this situation. I work full-time and I don't have TONS of time to get on, but I can usually get onto the game nightly at least for a few hours. I also have a smartphone and apps for getting into touch (Skype and the like) so I'm often accessible. I'm not too hard to get ahold of. If you're interested, shoot me a PM! I've been subbed to TOR for over two years. I love the game, until Starfighter came out and I got totally screwed. See, at the end of October my debit card expired. I had just moved and had to wait for a new one. It took ten days...and over the course of that ten days, fell November 1st. So I have no gunship. Bad luck, right? Whatever. What makes me mad isn't that I slipped through the cracks like that, it's that there's no way for me to get a gunship. Cartel coins? Nope. Requisitions? Nope. Unless I missed something, I'm screwed now. All that happens to me in Space PVP is getting one-shotted and wasting 20 minutes for 5k xp and not a single medal. I'm not a complainer, seriously, but this makes me so angry. You should have known people would have things like this happen. There needs to be either another way to get the only ship that's actually a contender in space PVP OR the other ships need to be changed so they're actually useful for more than wasting your time. Seriously mad right now.

RP-wise, she's a Sith noblewoman whose dad wanted to ensure his daughter would be Sith, too, and chose to get it on with a pretty blonde apprentice. Guess who that was?! Zash is, imho, the most interesting NPC in the game, so I enjoy having an RP character who is connected with her. She's fun to play; she's a lot like her mom but with a little less crazy.

Soooo I'm one of those notorious folks who has countless alts. I pretty much want to eventually have one of each class at 55 - but currently all I've got is my marauder. I also work full-time and go to school, and leveling all those alts so I can get to the endgame stuff is just...so slow! I'm wondering of there's another altaholic who'd have an interest in helping each others' alts level fast. Running each other through class quests and possibly heroics makes a big difference! We can trade off - I'll do one of your alts, you do mine, and so on. It'll be fun! If you'd be interested, send me a pm.

Yes, please...green is my favorite color. I hate it so much that there is NOTHING green for my characters to wear. There is a nice, bright green speeder though (Longspur Pacer). But seriously give us some green stuff and I will give you my money.

Some ideas that I do: - Look up names from other countries and places. Indian and Arabian names are my favorite. They are very pretty and also unique. DO NOT PICK JAPANESE. This only makes you look like a rabid anime nerd. - Get some mythology/folklore books, but not Greek/Roman because everybody uses those. Egyptian in moderation for the same reason. - Go here: The Plant List. Here is a list of Latin names of flowering plants. All of them in existence. You can play with the spellings to make them look/sound cooler or more like given names (example: for my sorcerer I made Elaeis (a plant) into Elaeys. - In general, Latin taxonomic names of animals and plants are fantastic sources of names. I use The Plant List because it's a great centralized list of useful inspiration. Here's a list of butterfly and moth species which is also nice: Butterflies and Moths Well, there are my secrets, so don't tell.

I think the binding on cartel stuff is stupid and it shouldn't be there. It sucks when you get part of a new armor set and you have to wait for 2 days before you can buy the rest of it. Also, if you get duplicates you have to wait 2 days to send them to your alts. That's dumb. Thank you for reading.

I checked it out on the pts, it's pretty fun. Hilarious when the Hutts dance. Also, sarlaac is a playable race but the unlock costs coins. So worth it though, my sarlaac Sith Warrior owns in pvp.

I love SWTOR, I love being part of the thriving RP community on my server. I have a blast with this game. I just have one gripe and it drives me insane: clothes for women are really...lacking. I've got no problem with the dancer's outfits; they're fun and sexy. But if you RP and your character isn't a dancer, or you just want a different look, what else is she supposed to wear? When it comes to robes and armor, either it's a plain sports bra and a skirt or an utterly sexless set of wrappings that hide any sort of femininity. I'm a girl IRL, and I'm not a girly girl at all. But I still spent the entirety of the prequel films drooling over the gorgeous dresses all the ladies wore. I want that sort of option for my characters - something that makes them look like women, but y'know...not the revealing dancer outfit.

I just wanted to pop in really quick and let people know I haven't forgotten about this thread. This semester has kind of been the semester from hell for me for a lot of reasons. I put the tl;dr version behind a spoiler because this is not my blog. So yeah! I have a lot going on but at least at this point I've kind of got a path laid out. I'm hoping that in January or so I can come back and resume taking care of the thread and writing stories. While I still have to deal with moving out and filing the papers and part-time classes at least I should be feeling a lot better about my situation.
