  1. You can use tank stims on dd. In 3.X some used it for sorc and sages low dmg reduction. In 4.x you can do that on all classes since the dps required is pretty low. Have someone call out the mice target and have your healers keep an instant or bubble reserved for them.
  2. Remeber it's all about the 4 GCD "rotation"! You want to proc your HIB every 4th ability. Filler - Filler - Proc - HIB That means you use your Tactical Surge or Stockstrike as ability nr. 3 every time. Using HIB on a target with your bleed on it gets you some energy back + HIB itself is free of energy. I would suggest you train your opener a bit. You can actually start better by using explosive surge out of target range to proc HIB and then do your opener. Just normal run to your target, dont leap.   3. Just a slight addition to the orb mechanics: As said before have a dd take the orb for extra damage. If you really want to abuse the power of that orb you should wait a few seconds after it spawns, pick it up and then leap to the adds (usually spawn next to eachother). This way you do damage on both adds (=twice the damage) and your ranged dd will love you for that. Next way of getting more damage on the tentacle could be vanguards aoe taunt (threatdrop) with the buildin reflect. Once used the ones with the reflect buff can safely move in front of the tentacle for the next big slam (cleave) and then move back again. It does help aswell if you need every bit of dmg.
  4. Maybe you should have just asked for help in improving your healing and your groups survivability. As you might have seen now there are a lot of good sage/sorc healers in the game and they are willing to communicate. From what you write you and your group do have to learn a bit about the fights and your classes to go on to harder fights. From my opinion sage/sorc is still the easiest class to get good healing. Getting towards "awesome" healing just got a bit harder now even thought scoundrels/operatives and commandos/mercenaries still need to work a lot harder in terms of managing energy.

They seem to be quite similar in damage output if you look at the tooltip: Rapid Shots = 2537 - 3143 [energy] Flame Burst = 2961 - 3140 [elemental] First to notice is that the lower end of the damage range for Flame Burst is higher and second is that the type of damage is not the same. Elemental damage is "harder" to absorb/mitigate/reduce then energy damage, therefore Flame Burst is better in terms of damage output. Quick test on a Operations Training Dummy (with Armor Reduction on it) shows for my powertech that I do around 2.6k damage with Rapid Shots and 4.4k damage with Flame Burst per activation. Your damage may vary but overall Flame Burst is way better then Rapid Shots.

  7. Our guild <Crossfire> currently consists of a hardmode raiding team and a few others. We lack the people for other operations besides the team ones. Our guild members should be given a chance to participate in current and old operations content which we simply cannot provide. Nearly every player with a high level character is already in a guild and not willing to change theirs. We know that we currently cannot offer much for players in terms of raiding (hm team is fixed) and are therefore willing to merge into another guild with all our members and our hm team. To our current status: - 4/5 Ravagers hm - 4/5 Temple of Sacrifice hm - weekly repair funds for members and raid group - all 192 Mainhand schematics - Guildship - Teamspeak 3 server What sort of guild we are looking for: - Guildship - a decent amount of players online - optionally: already having a raid group (We don't want to steal from you. Having 2 teams would open up possibilities of decent 16m hm operations.)
