I did this technique when I found out I could, was level 50 and levelled up to 55 purely PvPing, doing the dailies and weeklies, and had 4500 ranked and almost 16.5k normal comms. I don't like to remember the amount of times I forgot to refresh the timer on several weapons....

I thought MH and OH were the last of the last to get? And yea, been stockpiling weapons since I was 50 when i read on here about being able to stock up on weapons. Needless to say I forgot the timeout once or twice and lost thousands of comms, but hey ho I learned my lesson the hard way (forgot the time limit twice on this toon, once on my slinger), very annoying, but I just had a muppet moment.

I had the purple ear and implants on alts, REd from green the level 54 ones, worked better than pvp stuff until that last tweak to bolster - now when i swap them out the conquerer ones seem to fair better than the REd green ones. But looks like I'll be min/maxing a partisan set once ive blown my 4500 ranked on ear/relic/implants, ty for the advice peopel . Hoping 16500ish comms will almost min/max me....

Currently quite ****, just got makeb armourings, enhancements and mods (so level 50 stuff), plus barrels. implants relics etc are low 40s blue stuff i made from my cybertech. Ok forgot the conq ear/implants dont have pre-reqs so good choice thanks, but then was wondering if its bets to min max a whole set of partisan or just go straight for conq? 16k comms crunches into, what, just over 5k comms so thats a few bits of conq but not much i guess

Just a quick one which I'm sure some of you well informed will be able to tell me about, because I love you all and I don't love the search function: Looking at a conqueror mainhand for my little sexy assassin, looks best to grab a Force-Mystic 1h saber for the power/surge love, but the force power is less on a one hander (or is it the min/max? can't even be bothered to alt tab to find out right now), but if I plug the 1h mods into the 2h sabre does it reflect the overall stats of the 1h, or will it bump it to 2h loveliness? TL;DR - 1h mods into 2h sabre - am I losing out? Much love on this gorgeous sunny Sunday (ha, the Pagans got that one right) xxxxx

It is ridiculous having bolster at 55. Completely retarded. Can't think why it was implemented in the top tier pvp in the first place? Sure lowbie warzones so people are more on level pegging (despite more work needed to truly balance it) - as much as I enjoyed facerolling entire teams with a mate both proper twinked out, it coudlnt have been fun for the hundreds we were up against. But at 55? Re-introduce auto-expertise sets (recruit mk-3) and carry on from there. All needs be done is that. So people didn't bother equipping it? Shame on them, don't feck everything up for 99% of players because of the dumb 1% minority.

Ok so I get set bonuses stick with the armouring thingy now, but a quick question regarding the old old Battlemaster stuff - I'm still using the two set bonus form the PvP battlemaster for +15% healing on nano cloudy thing, now because that set bonus comes from the shell, would that stack with the arkanian +15% bonus thus netting me +30%? Or is it time to ditch that stuff... I would fiddle about and try but I really don't want to remove/overwrite the Battlemaster armourings just incase that's a one way trip.

I use the seismic ones, an added bonus is that you can use the lowbie low level ones and sitll get the 4s knockdown, they just do a little less damage (that's pitiful anyway, you really don't use these grenades for the damage). Don't think I've ever seen any other type of grenade used either

Gutted. I was on my way back from the locla kebab van, extra large mixed kebab with mayo (I don't do chilli sauce I'm afraid) and cheesy chips topped with burger sauce - the bag weighs the same as a newborn baby it's that much meat. Unfortunately when driving around a roudnabout I got smashed from 30ft away blowing up my car and my kebab alogn with it in one shot. Even had a windshield with expertise on it :/

Ambush easily interuptable? 20s cooldown? Spoken by someone without a clue, obviously. I haven't done lowbie PvP in ages until yesterday, unluckily my firts match was Huttball against 5 snipers 2 ops and a merc. Now I'm a fully twinked Sentinel with over 16k hps at level 45, and I got raped over and over and over, I hate fighting against two snipers in Huttball let alone 6 ranged classes like that. Did seem like a disproportionate amount of them, but then like you say OP they're a great counter to smashers so maybe they're rolling them on that account. I know I did with my GS. A string of 4k crits is heavy to deal with and might make them seem OP but like someone else said, a mez and getting up close is a death sentence for them, especially in lowbie PvP when the majority won't be pushing out all their defenses. Remember you're only getting reamed because you're allowing yourself to be - spatial awareness of snipers will keep you safe from them above all else - duck around a corner and LoS and 99% of them will get bored and find another target, regardless of map.

I was in this situation with my Gunslinger and went straight for the EWH mainhand, then filling in WH armourings for set bonuses then the implants and ear thingy, finally the relics. Next 50 I'll do the same with EWH weapons, but probably relics and "jewellery" before armour as that's a bit more gear:comms efficient. I just coudln't stand to grind down all the ranked comms back to normal ones, massive waste of playtime in the long haul and I would say EWH weapons are probably the most worthy EWH items. Jewellery bits in most cases no, as someoen said before some grant a measly +1 power if you're lucky.. if you're unlucky you get more HPS and an overall loss as the stat variation buggers up min/maxing builds. Besides, WH gear is very easy to grind timewise and getting it min/maxed won't take a few weeks of casual playing (that does mean more than just the dailies mind you). So I would say don't waste the ranked comms - get EWH weapons and min/max WH stuff in the meantime.

I still rather enjoy PvP and can get weeklies done on 3 toons without any real problem at all. Yes yes job g/f etc but still, it's very doable on either faction on TRE. I like the idea of WZs with different numbers of people, but then smaller ones will mean its a full on premade, and larger ones would incorporate more lag

People pay for recycled stuff, they'll continue to do it. I love the look of the new Imperial Moff sort of looking suit, but I would never spend £7 on it. Think the most I ever spent was a couple of quid on a sailor's hat for my ratonga in EQ2, because a ratonga sailor is just a must.
