  1. This is happening to me too. The "Activity Finder: Flashpoints" conquest mission to complete a random flashpoint as well as "[WEEKLY] Veteran Flashpoints" are not updating no matter how many flashpoints I run through the activity finder.
  2. HIVE NINE Years of chaos have besieged the Empire. From its efforts to rebuild and grow more progressive, to the renewed war against the Republic, it seems ever a step away from either victory or total annihilation. Yet this ever-changing and dangerous landscape has provided the perfect opportunity for avaricious minds to use the Empire’s resources for their own aims, while the bulk of it is too focused on the war effort to notice. A shadowy operation known as Hive Nine slithered out from the corpse of the old Sith Empire in the aftermath of the Zakuul invasion. Headed by two Anzati Sith, Darth Syrine and Darth Calamis, it is a conglomerate of scientists, researchers, and the combatants who protect them. Making heavy use of both Sith and Imperial forces as well as mercenary contracts, Hive Nine seeks to explore both the known and unknown reaches of the galaxy, recovering dangerous artifacts from shadowy locales in order to weaponize them. Outwardly, this effort is for the benefit of the Empire, and a great deal of their research is in fact funneled to the Sphere of Scientific Advancement which funds them. Inwardly, those who delve too deep within the Hive’s motives are quick to learn there is far more than meets the eye within the collective which preaches the need for a cult-like assimilation of the bonds of family. To go against the Hive’s goals is to gain the deadly label of traitor, but for those who choose to pledge themselves, the reward is steadfast--if unconventional--allies and access to some of the most dangerous technology in the galaxy… OOC INFORMATION <Hive Nine> is an 18+ heavy Sith RP guild on Starforge (US), Empire side. We are a lore-focused guild which places an emphasis on adhering to the game's canon with elements of lore-supported fanon interspersed where applicable. We make liberal use of unique plots which contain elements of intrigue and horror while remaining rooted within the lore of Star Wars (Legends). We prioritize adult-oriented, dark and gritty storylines with plenty of room for adventure and exploration. Our guild RP takes place after the events of Onslaught: The Dark Descent. Our RP stays up to date with the official advancement of TOR’s timeline as new content is released. We ICly acknowledge Acina as Empress. Our goal is to provide an OOCly friendly and helpful environment for people to create their own stories using the backdrop we have created. We have a fully unlocked guild ship and a Rishi stronghold, which is ICly our Taris base. While we will occasionally RP in public, our internal storylines are private and focused within the guild itself. We have a strict no drama policy. We are all here to have fun and try to keep guild chat free of controversial topics such as politics, tragedies unfolding in the world, and personal drama. We want the guild to be an escape from the myriad of serious topics which plague the real world and encourage our members to work with each other in a civil manner and just have fun together. We believe IC actions have IC consequences and prioritize freeform RP. In that regard, we consider ourselves a character driven guild, since plotlines are never on rails and are continually impacted by the actions characters choose to take. We also have a homebrew character sheet and dice system which we are very proud of which enhances our combat events and arena series, but members who despise dice will still find plenty to do within our guild. Proactive RPers are a necessity! While we regularly convene as a guild in certain locations for nightly RP, we strongly encourage our members to make use of our RP beacon channel and RP wherever and whenever they wish. As always, you will get out of this guild what you choose to put into it, RP wise. Finally, we place a heavy emphasis on quality over quantity and seek likeminded RPers who are interested in dark, serious RP first and foremost. Since RP is a writing-based hobby, we expect our members to have a decent grasp of the English language and grammar. We want to recruit members who put effort into their posts without excessive sloppines such as typos, chronically interrupting posts, ignoring what others write, “nods”-style short posting, or RPing in dialogue only. ELIGIBLE CHARACTERS We do not require our members to start at the bottom or erase any prior history. You can join the guild as an acolyte seeking instruction in our private academy, or as an established Darth. The only requirement is that your character actually fits with the guild and is willing to acknowledge its Operational hierarchy. We are open for recruitment and actively seeking both Sith and mundane characters who would fit into any of our divisions. We invite any queries as to if characters would fit, but chances are if the character can conceivably be loyal to a Sith operation the answer is ‘yes’. Though it is a side note to the guild’s main purpose, we are also interested in recruiting other Anzat characters. The Drones | Combat Division The strong arm of the Hive. Comprised of both Sith and mundane combatants, the Drones are responsible for safeguarding the lives of the members of the Hive. This means they guard both our ship and our Taris base, as well as escort our researchers on retrieval missions. The Workers | Science Division Scientists, researchers, Sith alchemists, and archaeologists dedicated to retrieving, studying, and utilizing the spoils of our retrieval missions. As the recovery of artifacts and alien technology lies at the heart of the Hive’s goals, the scientific-minded are incredibly prized by the Workers. The Repletes | Logistics Division The overarching umbrella which contains the forces which keep the Hive functioning at optimum capacity. From medics and healers to slaves, assistants, and tacticians, the forces of the Repletes may have background roles, but they are vital nonetheless. The Reavers | Pirate Division A crew of pirates, smugglers, and mercenaries who owe their loyalty to the Hive. They are often responsible for sneaking the Hive into dangerous locales where discretion is important, be it a planet’s seedy underbelly or a Republic-controlled world. RECRUITMENT Hive Nine is officially open for recruitment! This is a unique opportunity to invest in a brand new guild project and play a heavy role in how it grows and shapes over time. The co-GMs and core of foundation members are experienced, and know how to create an immersive SIth RP experience--now all we need is those who want to participate (and hopefully contribute)! 3. I'm confused--those are just the quests I had when I logged in. So I rerolled one of the dailies and got a hutt space one, but the other daily is still for Tatooine insectoids. So basically you can only reset one a day if you didn't finish them from the previous week? That's super bizarre, but ty for the response!
  4. Today I have two dailies: Defeat Outer Rim Enemies and Defeat Tatooine Insectoids. When I try to track them, the icons light up but the quest info next appears in my achievement tracker. When I open the window again, neither is checked. Also, nothing I kill on Tatooine, bugs or otherwise, counts for either objective. This has happened a few times to me so far--is there something I'm missing or are the seasons quests really bugged?
  5. This is happening to me now--I'm trying to pay with Paypal, and it takes me all the way through the thank you screen but my receipt is totally blank and Paypal is never charged. I tried the link above, reset my EA password and also my SWTOR password and still can't buy any CC. Please help, I wanna give you money
  6. Thanks, I did that. So weird there isn't just a cancel button though. I'm kind of miffed because I looked a couple days ago, couldn't find it and forgot and was just billed today. Technically my fault but it shouldn't be a mystery how to cancel a game either. This is what I kept finding to do, and have done in the past, but there's definitely no button there now. I checked in multiple browsers. So strange (and kind of shady).
  7. This is not a hate thread, I like the game, but I need to cancel for now. I have subbed and cancelled to this game many times over the years, but now I literally cannot find the cancel button. I've looked up past threads and the support FAQ and the cancel button just isn't where it's supposed to be.
  8. I used to sell augments but haven't played since 2015. I know all the information must be out there somewhere, but after tons of searching and even looking on the GTN I'm still confused about which augments are the current highest tier. I think some are just craftable off the crew skill vendor but others require raiding to craft? Or can you buy the patterns from raiders? In any case, I can't find what the actual number is of the highest tier so any help is appreciated, thanks!
  9. "For those without Early Access to Knights of the Eternal Throne you WILL get access tomorrow, December 2nd, as intended. No downtime will be necessary. Existing subscribers will be given access by 9AM CST (1500 GMT). Any new subscribers joining the game starting tomorrow at 9AM CST will be given access at that time. 10. My guild would like to work on unlocking the rest of our guild ship after a long time away. I was just curious if anyone had any input on how many people in a group you need to take them down (assuming the group is geared, etc). Thanks!
  11. I just sat in a HM flashpoint queue for 2 1/2 hours as a DPS juggernaut before getting a pop. It was HM Athiss. Healer was 51 and tank was 54 so I was leery, but I've seen it done before with low levels who know how to play, so gave it a shot. I immediately have to AOE taunt to keep the tank from dying. Figured it was just one of those rough pull things and kept going. I had to AOE taunt on every group to keep the tank from certain doom. Just over and over, because he was so incredibly squishy. Still, whatever, I'm geared well and main a tank so I was doing okay off-tanking. Then we get to the first boss and the tank runs in, dies instantly. I start main tanking as a DPS, we get the boss to half health, then on one of the mob spawns, for some asinine reason--even though I AOE taunted the mobs off the healer--the healer starts running around like a chicken with its head cut off. She was taking some AOE damage from the boss and assumed we were letting the mobs eat her. She starts throwing an absolute fit about how she can't heal if mobs are hitting her. I said something along the lines of how a) the mobs weren't even agro'd to her and b) part of being a healer is bunkering down and self-healing while tossing heals to others when you can--not just running around aimlessly because you're taking damage. You can imagine how well that went. She got even angrier. We've all wiped by now and on the run back the tank decides to announce he's actually a DPS. When I asked why he's queued as a tank he goes "because I was a tank until now." So I ask again, "but if you're not a tank now, why are you queued as one?" He goes "because I have before." So I say, okay... can you go to tank spec, please? He says "sure, but I won't know what buttons to press." Sooooo since I know how to play jugg tank decently enough I just said hold on, I'll swap to tank spec. A short time later I'm all ready to go, in DPS gear but I feel confident I could've done it with half decent heals, since the boss was nearly dead that time before the healer just STOPPED HEALING because she took damage again. She said "UMMMMMM I'm getting hit again!" because she stood in an AOE circle. I left.
  12. I am going for legendary status with DvL and so far the only achievement holding me back is the world bosses. I am not in a raiding guild and have not had any luck finding groups to complete this content. I wouldn't be opposed to joining a raid guild but I'd also be interested in grouping up with other players to kill some world bosses. This would probably be on Empire side but I could also gear up a Republic toon if I had to.
  13. I just started playing again after a few months away so apologies if this has already been discussed. I couldn't find any topics about it anywhere. I was excited to namechange to something with a space in it, so I bought a character rename and swapped names from Beltane to Alexandria Beltane. The name shows up as it should in the UI, but in chat the second word is lowercase: Alexandria beltane. This absolutely drives me crazy since it's not what was advertised and it looks as if I left my name uncapitalized on purpose. I bought a second character rename only to realize I am locked out from changing my name for 30 days. So I'm stuck with the ugly uncapitalized name. I would be fine with wasting more real money to get rid of the ugly name but the seemingly needless 30 day restriction is forcing me to be embarrassed about my name for a whole month. Is there any indication this is a bug and being worked on or is it "working as intended"? I am really not happy about being stuck with a bugged name for 30 days.
  14. As a heavy consumer of packs I really am not impressed with this change still. The grand packs are nice but I like them being separate from the cartel packs. I want the NEW stuff, not a chance to get the old stuff I probably already have if I wanted it. I used to buy 1-2 hypercrates per pack release and I've only been buying some packs for about $20 the last few releases since I dislike the new systems so much. And yes, PLEASE bring back cartel certificates. I can no longer buy anything I want off of those vendors...
  15. What I don't understand is people who say they're only here for story yet ignore the story in favor of the class stories only. The sidequests are not meaningless, especially the planetary arcs. They have many memorable moments and paint the full picture of the story/lore whereas the class stories only give you a glimpse. I have leveled 30+ characters to max so I tend to skip the sidequests myself. But all these people who say they're new to the game but want to skip the "meaningless" content boggle my mind. Also please note if you really don't want to see the story (despite playing for story) you can always just spacebar your way through the non-class quests to make it go faster...
