I can understand the negativity around these kinds of posts. But the real problem is not in these posts but in the cause of these posts. In spite of promises from the Devs that we would get a crate about once an hour, that is NOT happening, at the GC200+ level, its more like every 2 to 2.5 hours. It is frustrating, demoralizing, and demotivating to invest that kind of time and come up with nothing useful. And the knowledge that getting to the next crate is going to take even more cxp is daunting. I've been in tier3 for 3 week now, and not received 1 usable tier3 piece. The new system went in place and I thought surely there would be some groups eager to run NiM Ops and go for the good gear. And I was laughed right out the airlock. No one was geared /skilled enough to even attempt NiM. Good thing I'm not prone to depression, because the thought of going another 3 weeks to get to or near GC300 and possibly still not getting any 242 gear, might just trigger a spiral .

I'm GC level 244. Only have 3 gold pieces all from Tier2: 236 bracers, gloves, chest. 0 242 pieces And in 4.x I had full 228's.

I have played exclusively on one toon since 5.0 dropped, i"ve made it to GC240, and not gotten one use able piece of tier3 gear, Not getting anything useable from tier3 s pretty much the same thing as not making tier3. Extremely discouraging either way, not "exciting" at all.

I have 52 toons on Harbinger. I just want the cxp points and level to be legacy wide. Whatever toon I'm on when I hit the next level gets the crate. The other toons only get the level.

Bolster should have never existed at level 70. Get gear, get good.

The solution is either 5.1, or just keep releveling 300. Over end over, although the 300 never changes, you will get a crate echo time.

Your experience is quite atypical . I've opened 44 tier 3 crates and no set bonus pieces.

Go to the vender and look at what you can actually get with D/L tokens. When you realize, the crap that they buy, you suddenly will not care about earning tokens. 2 pets, 3 mounts, some legacy gear. Useless junk.

Try subbing.

Effort vs Reward EFFORT: When the other side has happy you have to get an Ops Group together never easy even on Harbinger. Travel to some remote location, guild ship summons helps but SOMEONE has to get there. Actually defeat the boss and loot the corpse., admittedly shouldn't be an issue but every once is a while you get in one of THOSE group and UGH! REWARD: A token. That when you'be gathered up a whole bunch more can eventually get you a pet, a mount or some legacy gear. Does anyone really need more of any of those? Really? CXP. A wee little for an hour effort, in that same time you have legally run Fractured 6 times and made around 4200 CXP. Effort vs Reward.

They aren't changing anything about crates, they are only adding another way to chase a specific 240 level non set bonus piece of gear. If you want 242 level gear with set bonuses you still have to offer your sacrifices to the RNGods.

Still not gonna be better than what I got. Other than my 6 set bonus armorings, I and in full 240's that I bought off the GTN 4 weeks ago. Only thing I can use is 242.

Somewhere along the line they confused two things. I spent 2 full weeks of Xmas vacation farming cxp as best I could. Finally last week I made tier 3. Since then 20 crates of useless crap. Sheesh. I bought better crafted stuff off the GTN 4 weeks ago. Bired, bored, bored and disappointed. None of this is fun anymore.

It sure is, all my Imperial characters are LS. I think its even more fun story wise to do it that way. Sadly doing Pubs, DS did not seem as fun to me.

I tried many googled solutions in the last hour and a half. The one that finally worked was to find and delete DiskCashArena. It got recreated after loggin and now I can play again.

I was playing yesterday just fine. Logged out about 8 hours ago and went to bed. Woke up this morning, launched the game, signed in, and got to the title/splash screen and it just spins. Rebooted, launched the game, signed in, and got to the title/splash screen and it just spins again. It never get to the character selection screen. Anyone else getting this? Or know how to fix it?

You can dress Shae and Master Ranos. Ranos has no customizations yet. If you do the queat and don't activate the toke you get 2 Shae customizaions, 1 helmet on, 1 helmet off, however the helmet off one looks just like no customization.

I don't think BW will ever release any official stats but i'll give you mine, and you can extrapolate from them what you will On Jung Ma, 4 toons all < 70, no plans to ever touch them again, unless there is some kind of server merge. On all other NA and Euro server (except JM and Harb) 1 toon each, no plans to ever touch any of them again HARBINGER 52 toons. 16 toons <70 , maybe I might work them up to 70 someday. 35 toons =70, Command Rank 2, no plans to significantly work with them 1 toon =70, Command Rank 180, really wanted to make Tier 3 last night but was just too tired to stick it out for another level, will make tier 3 tonight for sure. Right now this is the only toon I see me playing in the foreseeable future. My set bonus armorings are in the 230 to 236 range, everything else is 240. Since the 5.1 gearing system will only be dropping 240's it's utterly useless to me. All totaled 35 not eligible for GC 35 at GC 2 and likely never progress anywhere 1 that will eventually make GC 300
