  1. I can't tell if you are just being oppositional at this point or you are just obtuse. The sell value of the chair is a cell in a database somewhere. It merely required changing. That is an easy fix.
  2. This has been known since just after the patch come out Tuesday, not 90 minutes ago.
  3. This really isn't even a programMing problem, it's just a number in a database that wrong. It was simple to fix if they would have jumped on it in a timely fashion. Now, matters are worse...
  4. You need to reassess and retrain your humans. After two days is nowhere near "as soon as humanly possible"
  5. So, in a situation where tons of bots are sitting at the vendor doing this for days, it could have an effect on the game economy? Kind of like exactly what is happening? They are getting 10-12 mil per bot per hour from this. But don't worry about it, right? The ease of the initial fix when it became known to them and the fact that they took no action to do it is absolutely ridiculous. The problem just keeps growing each hour and any real fix becomes more painful for the community.
  6. You can whine about people looking for some professionalism from a professional game developer, but that doesn't mean it will stop. Honestly, this was a very easy thing to catch and barring that, to hot-fix quickly. These guys did neither.
  7. I see the concept of QA eludes you. The point of QA is to catch the unintended bit. This was easily identifiable by a basic QA process before being pushed to live.
  8. Decent QA is even over-shooting a bit. Even lazy QA would check an item being added to the game. They can't even manage that apparently.
  9. Spurious attributions aside, you analogy really is flawed. A more apt one us buying a ticket for a sporting event, but then expecting them to give you one for another game after you went to that one. The other game ticket still costs money and you already went to the first one and got what you paid for. Just because you chose a bad game to go to, doesn't make them responsible, you as an adult are responsible for your choice. And really, if you've already spent so much on this game, what is another $20?
  10. Every 10 levels really is fine. I usually just go until I begin having serious difficulty on missions. The last character I leveled somehow had a piece of gear in the teens as I was finishing corellia. 12 comms is plenty. Also, needing to save tons comms for 60 is mitigated because of the Ziost welfare gear being 190.
  11. If your goal is truly "to smell the roses" 12x XP won't stop you from doing so. Play how you want and don't worry about the XP. Why is that so hard to understand?
  12. But apparently that is an excuse not to post something on the official site main page in advance of the event? Come on. It takes next to no effort to communicate this kind of basic thing to the player base. 2xXP is a good thing, you'd think they'd want to get the word out.
  13. I don't think anyone is worried about 55-60 leveling. It's the 1-55 that is a pain after the first 5-6 times. Having 6-7 60s on each side, I know the motivation to finish a 60 on each AC is very hard to come by at this point. The stories in this game are pretty good, for the most. I would like be able to experience and truly enjoy them again, without have to do a bunch of filler crap for 15th time in between each installment of the story. If you love grinding the same side missions endlessly, good for you. I, and a lot of others, do not. It would be great if those that want to skip the repetitive junk missions could.
  14. What they really need to do is put the weeklies, at least the end game ones, in the same framework as achievements. No need to carry them in your mission log, progress tracked over time and auto complete/turn-in at the end. That would save a ton of room in mission logs and save a lot of tedious terminal visits.
  15. So people who would stay, but quit playing and spending money because grinding side quests for the umpteenth time is unpalatable wouldn't affect your game play? Okay... I have all but 3 ACs at 60. I would love to do a quick story run through , especially with the first couple I maxed, but grinding levels on the same tired side quests is stopping me. 12x do would definitely be a good carrot to stick around, level more alts and spend some CC to outfit them. As of now, I have little motivation to do so.
