Was just wondering, is the new White-Yellow-Orange one that much different?

Prior to 4.0 there were about a half dozen "Exceptional" protection mounts. You can find it in Dulfy.net under the speeder galleries. (Have to scroll thru all of them to find them.) Site hasn't updated 4.0 mounts yet.

Since it is broken and won't be fixed any time soon, how about trying to remove it. I still see folks going into the Spike, and can only assume a whole lot of folks this weekend will try and access it with the "cookie crumb" starter mission clickable. Easier to answer folks that wonder what happened to event, instead of dealing with folks that travel to the planet and get kicked back to fleet. (Would think devs want to keep more people from feeling upset.)

Actually there is a way around the companion for the World Boss. There are other things to kill (Jagganaunt sp?) and there is a guild on Dulfy.net to find them. Have to kill 20 so there might be a wait for them to respawn, but not many folks doing it so not really that bad. Agreed on the PVP one though, as many have written in other threads. Since there are so many others companions, I'm skipping that one on most of my alts.

I really think the problem may be running multiple events at the same time. Each requires lines of coding and in this case Life Day and Rakghoul may be using lines that conflict with each other. (That may be why we haven't seen this problem before.) So to track down all the conflicts, and recode it would require a great deal of work.

Guess they haven't learned anything in 2 full days. With Double XP to start tomorrow, hopefully the game doesn't fully crash.

Still should be able to. Chapter 10 not out till Feb. 11 and there is another Rakghoul Event scheduled for Jan. 12 (unless they break that too).

Sorry just trying to interject some humor into a bad/sad situation.

Only thing I can think of is they are running Rakghoul same time as Life Day and possibly they are interacting. That would be a reason why the fix isn't easy to remedy in one day.

Actually they listed it as an event, since it last from Dec. 18 till Jan. 1 (Two weeks.)

Have noticed in the past that the CM doesn't update till 9 or 10 AM PST on Tuesdays. (So when I write this, about an hour or two from now.)

If you look in collections there seems to be a snowball cannon and a new mount.

There was a bug with the ship droid losing influence, but I thought they fixed it?

Yup unless they changed it recently, if you do it in solo mode you could get the part. (Was changed that way when 4.0 first came out.)

At least it's not Lightsaber Belt Buckle jousting (as on the episode of The Big Bang Theory).

Agreed that it is pretty easy to get HK-51 now that the FP's don't need to run in heroic to get the part. And it's not really a grind, just time consuming unless you have help/know the area well to search for the parts. I myself have several customizations for HK (they give you 2 basically for free) and will have them running around in those, to differentiate from HK-55 once it comes along.

Just logged in and noticed that the GTN search function seems to be fixed. (Can search for things that you couldn't like Augmentation kits). So maybe it did fix a few things.

Think you might have mistaken last month. Was Rakghoul event. And that is now on a monthly schedule (because of KotFE requirement). Gree used to be on a six month schedule, but seems to now be on a shorter one. It seems they are recycling old events on a quicker time schedule to keep newer folks involved. What I found is look at the Gree rep vendors to see what stuff you really want access to quickly. Figure out how much in reputation you have and if you have enough to get those items. (Dulfy has several pages that help you calculate level and reputation gains.) Then aim for that if you can wait the 3 - 6 months till event returns to top out.

My question is since this post have you tried using a healer companion? It's fairly easy to get one up to influence level 10 using green level 1 companion gifts, total cost is around 20K if feeding them their favorites. Yes some heroics are difficult/hard if NOT using a healer companion. But then it's also near impossible to do a lot of tactical flashpoints if you run in as 4 dps too. Just because it says heroic 2+ doesn't mean any two (you and companion) can do them. Sometimes you have to have the right class/specs combination.

Actually I've found a few good guilds in this game. If you want one with a fairly large amount of people on check the Conquest leaderboards. I see a few that I have been a part of - that have nice helpful folks. But most of them don't usually use chat, but an outside audio program. (Ventrilo, TS3, etc.)

Actually if you are at a trainer and use the pulldowns, select all, you can see the abilites that you will get at various levels. I agree that auto training makes it looks like you don't upgrade abilites but they are there.
