  1. Nope, no email, no code, no coins. I've been opted in for the SW:TOR category since forever, and according to Eric that should be enough.
  2. Yes please. Also add an option to sort by name. Currently the difficulty sort almost achieves that when you have capped the crafting skill, but there's always a few schematics that are still green or yellow.
  3. I think the community wanted a higher chance to get the crafting material missions to appear in the list. It was frustrating to have four gift missions and one moderate fabric mission available when you wanted metals. Now that the list is no longer limited to five missions, the underlying reason for wanting less gift missions is gone.
  4. Did you give Lokin the materials he requested first? IIRC he gives you the probes right away but you can't actually use them until you've raised your influence with him to level 10 by giving him materials.
  5. Patch notes for 4.1 said: As of 4.1a this was broken and the crates still dropped premium (green) gifts. There was no mention of it in 4.1b. Anyone know if it got a ninja fix? Should I hold onto my crates in hopes this gets fixed?
  6. If the DPS makes mistakes, the boss enrages. Then everyone dies and it's the healer's fault for not healing through 300% damage.
  7. Why would anyone do that though, especially if they wanted to cash in that item? That would only work for Clayburn's benefit anyway since the player would no longer have a proof of his debt.
  8. I haven't even received mine yet. It's unlikely I'll use them immediately anyway; I already have over 14k CC accumulated from monthly sub rewards. Might buy some armor or decorations later if I feel like it.
  9. In a guild run a week or two back we wiped because one of the healers had forgotten to put on a mainhand (he uses the same set of legacy gear for multiple characters I think). We laughed at him and gave him a funny rank for a short while. He took it in good spirit, equipped his mainhand and we proceeded to kill the boss.
  10. Note that with item modifications the name does get erased if the modification is inserted into an item and then extracted again. Any item can be destroyed as well. Both of these require conscious action from the player though and can't happen by accident, bugs notwithstanding.
  11. But you would have no way to ascertain the number of such items they have. Neither can you force them to destroy the items after the debt is paid. Someone could scam you by saying "ok, I destroyed that one and put on another one" when in reality they just took it off and put the same one back on. Using crafted items as IOUs among friends may work well enough, but I would never trust strangers with it.
  12. If they hadn't taken three weeks to answer the ticket, maybe there would still have been records. When dealing with bugs that may cause item loss, one of the first things you should do (right after temporarily disabling the feature so as to prevent any further losses while it's being fixed) is figuring out what kind of traces it leaves of the lost items. Do the items actually get deleted or are they placed in some sort of limbo where they exist yet are nowhere to be found? Depending on the nature of the bug it may be that the usual ways for customer support to verify lost items are ineffective and the developers should advise support on how to deal with this particular case. If support claims they can't verify the items, that means someone didn't do their job.
  13. Yeah, SW:TOR "runs fine" on my laptop with i7-4500U, 8 GB RAM and integrated graphics. Framerate is around 20 fps when there's not much going on and drops lower in presence of graphical effects. I use it for solo PvE stuff when I'm away from home or otherwise unable to use my main computer, sometimes even for easier ops. Wouldn't want to try progression ops with it though.
  14. For the time being you could also go to Yavin 4 and see if it's any less populated. You can exchange the grade 8 materials from there for grade 9 until patch 4.2 arrives.
  15. That sounds like a BitRaider problem. There are some threads around with instructions for disabling it; you might want to try that. Be warned though, you'll have to download the entire game again, but afterwards your patches should be much faster.
  16. While that is a nice idea, it probably isn't feasible to implement at this point. The resulting version mismatches are something that would have needed to be accounted for in the game's client/server architecture from the very beginning. One thing they could do is a staggered rollout, at least for minor patches like this. For larger patches with new content there's the issue of competitive advantage if some players get it before others.
  17. Do you seriously believe you are the only person on earth in that situation? What about the people in Europe, or Australia? Moving the patching time to suit your needs would more than likely piss off someone else.
  18. At a guess you are looking at a pre-KotFE guide. Back then each companion had unique bonuses to crew skills and it was best to pick the skills that match with the bonuses of your companions. Since KotFE that distinction has been removed and all companions work the same, so your guide is most likely obsolete.
  19. Yes, but when watching a video, you are not constantly pressing keys and expecting results to appear on the screen. A game running at 60 fps feels much more responsive to your controls.
  20. Are you sure that didn't include 4.1 as well? Either that, or it was BitRaider mucking things up.
  21. Wieving a non-interactive video is very different from playing a game. As I explained before, input latency plays a part too.
  22. It doesn't sound like anything is amiss. Interrupt abilities prevent the target from using the interrupted ability for four seconds, but unless it was a channeled ability (which Izax's Hunger isn't) it won't go on cooldown. So as soon as the four second lockout expires, the target is free to attempt to use the ability again. If the target isn't immune to stuns, knockbacks etc. you can use those as additional interrupts, although they don't have the four second lockout. AFAIK no class has enough interrupts to permanently prevent an insistent target from using an ability. If you're playing as a tank and have a healer companion, you're going to have a rough time beating that fight. Try switching to DPS stance, maybe even respec to DPS, and put on any pieces of DPS gear you may have. Or acquire better gear elsewhere to increase your damage output as a tank and come back later.
  23. Are we talking about flashpoints or operations here? In operations the random Mk-2 gear pieces are generally considered uninteresting and anyone is free to roll need on them. Furthermore, there are really only two types of non-set gear now: tank gear and dps/healer gear. If a dps or healer is rolling on tank gear or vice versa, chances are they want it for their tank alt. These days it's generally accepted to roll for alts. Perhaps you should discuss the loot rules with your group before starting to agree on what's allowed and what isn't.
  24. IIRC there has always been some kind of reward for helping a team member complete their bonus mission, though I don't remember exactly how it used to relate to the reward for completing your own bonus mission.
  25. One of these days I'm going to find a ganker like you and see just how many times over you are willing to kill the same defenseless target. I mean, what do you even get out of it? I certainly won't lose anything. I'll put my flag on and run to you, over and over and over again, while watching funny cat videos on YouTube. If you get bored and don't attack me, I'll start making rude gestures at you and calling you names until you do.
