I can't understand the business rationale behind this decision. It's a system by your own admission that hasn't been supported, so I can't imagine it would require any resources to leave it in the game. But it's clearly something that hardcore PVP'ers want. I play on the Harbinger and most of the hardcore PVP'ers that I know left for the Bastion after paid transfers were offered. On Saturday night there were at least 4 teams out there playing ranked WZ's on a non PVP server. I don't see why you would risk alienating even a small population of the game. A group from the Harbinger just started working on putting together a ranked league - brilliant idea. I think it was some guys from Ghost Infantry. I was really looking forward to that. I'm excited about the idea of 4v4 ranked PVP. But, eliminating 8v8 sounds like a bad idea. Hopefully you guys change your mind.

I have a 50 gunnery commando I loved before they nerfed that. I almost never play PVP w/him now. So I rolled a vanguard assault specialist which I've been spending a lot of time leveling him up and I LOVED the way he played in PVP (which is my favorite aspect of the game). He's only at level 39, but it's been a fun class.... But now I find that 1.4 they decided to nerf his main abilities. I can see if it was really OP and they needed to adjust the abilities to keep some balance - but my objection is HOW they went about this. Reducing the distance that incendiary round and assault plastique (which I don't have yet, but was really looking forward to getting soon) function from 30m to 10m I think will dramatically alter my play style for this toon. And that's what I really like - his play style. Mobile, ranged, damage. I'll give it a try, but I have a strong feeling this toon will be relegated to crew-skills only if this change has the expected affect.

Agreed...BIG TIME! I'd like to see a "Barber Shop" where I can do minor adjustments to my character. Have a "Plastic Surgeon" available someplace where you can do major changes. Some sort of back-alley shady character who allows you to "change your identity"... IOW rename your character! My first 2 characters I created, I'm just so unhappy with them. I've rolled others since, but I just don't want to roll another Scoundrel or Sentinel when I've already reached pretty high levels.

I'm here in a county far far away from personal computer, held hostage by my boss, Emperor Paul...and I'm bored to freaking death. All I'd like to do is work on one of my crew skills... Send Kira out on a slicing mission. Vic out to scavenge some metals...have Aric construct me some new armor! I'm not sure if it would even be possible, but it would be pretty cool if we could issue commands to our companions to send them off on missions via phone, tablet or web app.
