I have a 50 gunnery commando I loved before they nerfed that. I almost never play PVP w/him now.
So I rolled a vanguard assault specialist which I've been spending a lot of time leveling him up and I LOVED the way he played in PVP (which is my favorite aspect of the game). He's only at level 39, but it's been a fun class.... But now I find that 1.4 they decided to nerf his main abilities.
I can see if it was really OP and they needed to adjust the abilities to keep some balance - but my objection is HOW they went about this. Reducing the distance that incendiary round and assault plastique (which I don't have yet, but was really looking forward to getting soon) function from 30m to 10m I think will dramatically alter my play style for this toon. And that's what I really like - his play style. Mobile, ranged, damage.
I'll give it a try, but I have a strong feeling this toon will be relegated to crew-skills only if this change has the expected affect.
