  1. Doesn't have to be. DPS damage can still aggro, but tank could have multiple abilities to keep boos aggro, add mob aggro, or selectively dump aggro. Yes...but I never mentioned AUTO aggro and wouldn't need to redesign anything. Ok..Don't like my suggestions..CHECK...Dumb?? Wow. Let's go back to tanks doing 6mil damage or 9k parses. Not going down this PvP vs. PvE hole you are digging. This is the PvP thread. O...BTW...there are plenty of games that classes are support only. Support classes are quite powerful.
  2. Tanks are just that....TANKS...meaning you protect, look after, shield/absorb damage...so...YES...defend, protect, and help your companion kill stuff...not you. Defiantly not allow you to do massive damage spamming offensive abilities. Keeping aggro on a boss should not be dependent on damage.
  3. How to fix all of this tanking, skanking, tank dps spamming, and etc! Don't give tanks offensive abilities. Give them support abilities to help dps classes deal more damage, healers heal faster/higher, provide buffs to DCDs/GCDs, provide true absorbing of dps, and assist companion dps when solo. TWO things would happen: 1. All the dps only troll skanks would not play tank 2. People who love tanking would have more to do
  4. OK. The "Alliance" was cute and all for a HOT second, but this is STAR WARS! Republic vs. Empire, Sith vs Jedi, light vs dark, and etc. Stop with the cross faction crap! Some wanted cross-server; not cross-faction! I hate all the cross faction WZs because: 1. Seen teams not help other faction 2. Hate from other WZs carry over 3. Fundamentally wrong with the "ORIGINAL" SW lore anyway 4. More people quit at the start because of 1-3 above You keep saying "we heard you feedback", but you always seem to miss with these updates...it's like you are reading a different forum, or getting feedback from some alternative player base. While your "Roadmap" has some positives, I think you need to seriously get some additional "feedback" before you make a summer change that will finally put this game to sleep!

He thinks he's "kind of a big deal", brags about himself, nerds out regularly, and is a constant "Elitist"...and think GOD he is not on SF. This is SF records or post...go take your macros, hacks, and attitude to SS server..*******!
  6. Not TX. My ping is worse and I'm in TX. Another thing to look at is packet loss. I've always had crappy connection to their servers. I've said this before, but ALL of their servers were hosted in Redwood City, CA before, but not sure where they are now. My ping plotter has me routed through Level3 hops and getting 80-100% packet loss. It used to be 40-80%, but Harb gives me 3 bad hops now(Was 2), TRE is 200+ ping and 1 bad hop now(Was none), TEH is 4 bad hops now(was 2). I have talked, argued, been banned from calling, and account temp banned from talking with customer/technical support over the past 5yrs....NOW everyone else is having somewhat the same playing experience I've suffered through, and I'm even worse than before. Tried to play on JC yesterday and it is just unplayable...smashing no one when player was clearly there...heals not going through...can't backstab someone because they are not in the location I'm seeing them, missing taunts, not activating nodes, moving and players asking why I'm standing still. I'm finally done...it will not get better, and reading that this was an improvement has put the finishing touch on it. This sucks, because I love Star Wars and this was a great game....just too many bugs and bad gameplay.
  7. I'm not on the West coast....my lag has been a problem since launch, AND now you say you've fixed it but my lag is worse today???? Seriously??? Like WHY??? Customer service never helps...I upload this ping test, that ping test, all that crap every single time i've called ....to get level2 support...that doesn't know more than level1. You have crap servers and server lag, because you pay for cheap service for your customers that you nickle -n- dime with CC crap, re-skins of old gear, and nothing new...even the "new" planets look like pcs of other areas jumbled together. Asking for patience has wore thin....you all should be embarrassed. Does anyone have the balls to say..."Hey..we have *%$#$ up" Let's fix this before our cash cow runs dry"...NOPE....not one of you. Bad class changes, acting like you don't know that class utilities are broken, and you all are acting like we should be praising you all...."Ohh TY Keith" , "No problem Bio-ware", "We understand Musco!"....SERIOUSLY...."GET OUT OF STUPID!!...Seriously!"
  8. Need to work on your macros too...too many " Not ready yet" and "Not available " messages. Clean those up and maybe you can PEAK with the rest of the "macro gamers".
  9. OMG....I don't understand why you guys can't add the OPS or WZ dummies to the strongholds. We have a million decorations, BUT no practice dummies?? Come on MAN!

HoTs on me...sure....if you think those HoTs are a solution to ( I'll use your class ) to the incoming DPS your crazy....the extra 6% if you have them on you??? Helpful?? I'd like to see your reaction when an OP has dipped below 30% and you have them targeted...hmm... A. He has 2 probes on, and I won't execute him B. He has 2 probes on, and I can't kill him...heals too good C. Execute that Op below 30%, F*** his probes!! I'm going with C. BTW I was referring to HoT'g teammates:).....maybe you missed my "lazy" comment. Yea....they did that....they didn't make it spec dependent. Each could use it, but the "HPS number farmer", "I'm losing in Yolo's to Op heal" and the "Butthurt URC 1v1" players got all pissy. I guess BW/Eric/etc. granted the change so Kudos to you sir...GL Yea....was a MAJOR problem..worse than H2F Merc domination, super long gear grind, bolster(LOL), Sin/Shadow double stance proc, glitched FPs and OPs, glitched uprisings....yup...that utility had to be dealt with first...ROFL! HPS resulted in an decrease...Hottie said it....SO IT'S 100% true:rolleyes:...refer to her!!!
  12. I guess???...even if you pick it now your Infusion heal does not give the full heal if your in combat sometimes. Basically, people that couldn't understand what instantly meant said it was a bug, people that cared about their dam HPS numbers didn't like it, other mercs & snipers cried because they couldn't win a 1v1. So they changed the wording to state " immediately" for the coding to keep the 18secs, and now have a "real" buggy utility that is worthless. Sad thing is, Ops complained for a big heal, more survivability if damage keeps decreasing and the Devs responded with a great utility to accomplish this at a cost of not having stacks of probes. It was working as intended , BUT the so called community experts said this and that. Never seen the mercs complain about their THREE!!! super new utilities/abilities, never heard Juggs complain and say, "ED is a broken utility, it's too good, has to be a bug....please delete", or sorcs say " our healing and roaming mend is too good, and teleport is for melee", or snipers say " I have too many auto-crit abilities, my cover, roll, shell, shield, dampers, damage, damage, and damage is too good", BUT NOOOOOOOO....I'm an OP and I'm a expert at complaing, macroing, and self acclaimed theroy craftor....please nerf this bugged, flawed, and broken utility, because I can't comprehend or can't do the math of why it's working. If I'm a DPS Op (concealment/lethality) and I can A. Have a burst heal or B. Heal a teammate in trouble, then it was a great thing. I don't have to go full support mode and HoT everyone. I'm not caring about HPS! IF!!!! I'm an OP healer, and have been crying for a burst heal on the move, can simply unclick the stack of probes of a player in need( clicking too good when I'm macro'd), or want to use on myself since I'm concentrating on micro managing stacks of probes on teammates, then it was a great heal. But now the only true, non macroing, non complainers of their own classes good changes, and the non resident freaking "I want attention" Op class(and I'm not talking about our friend...Snave:) ) experts will adjust again!

  15. Well...you know how to type, so I'm assuming you can read as well. Look up instantly...might be your problem...so the "over 18 secs" would not apply...that would mean it's not instant. Learn to not insult so quickly:)

  17. I'm happy. IMO...it's working as intended. I usually get 4200-4500 a tick...tool tip says it heals over time for 18 and with 2 stacks instant you should get +/- 81k for 2 instant stacks. I think it also auto crits, add your crit bonus (I have near 75), so add another +/- 57k and you have your big heal. I guess if you prefer to not hot yourself you run the chance of getting stun locked and you can't take the utility that would give you 11% DR....your choice. As a healer I don't take it because having HOTs on teammates helps. Having it in Lethality spec is awesome. I'm amused that people always hate this class, but are fine with the other "super" abilities other classes get. OP/Scoundrel hate...let it flow I guess.
  18. I guessing he is using a left hand pad with thumb pad for movement (binds up, down, strL, strR). I use one and make the same movement.
  19. Some may wonder why we did not just increase the healing capabilities of the other healing disciplines in the game to match that of the Corruption Sorcerer. In this instance, we could not do that because all of the combat math for the game (both PvE and PvP) is balanced around the current healing capabilities of the other healing disciplines. So if we were to increase the healing capabilities of the other healing disciplines to match the healing capabilities of the Corruption Sorcerer, then healing would be more effective than intended, which would cause problems in both PvE and PvP. Sith Inquisitor Sorcerer•Dark Heal now has a base cost of 70 Force (up from 55 Force) and heals for slightly more (.49%). •Resurgence now has a base cost of 40 Force (up from 30 Force) and heals for a bit more (4.94% for the instant heal, and 3.70% for the heal over time.). •Static Barrier now has a base cost of 45 Force (up from 35 Force) and absorbs slightly more damage (1.43%). Corruption•Dark Infusion now has a base cost of 45 Force (up from 37) and heals for a bit more (3.25%). •Innervate now has a base cost of 60 Force (up from 48) and heals for a bit more (4.04%). •Revivification now has a base cost of 75 Force (up from 60). •Roaming Mend now has a base cost of 65 Force (up from 50) and heals for slightly more (1.28%). •The healing done by Renewal has been increased (by 3.70%) to match the healing done by the heal over time portion of Resurgence. •Penetrating Darkness now increases your bonus healing by 3% (down from 5%) Yea....I saw this and seriously just LOL. Really hard! This proves they have no clue what they are talking about. They should've just said...."play a Sorc and we don't care about other healing ACs". They see great players using Op / Merc heals and assume it's ok, but they don't see that those players are getting great play around them. Sorcs are so over powered that an avg. player can crank out 3K HPS. The DEVs must test in regs, because that is the only area of PvP that those other 2 healing ACs can have avg players do OK...just OK.

  21. What gear did you use? Healing gear with 10% alacrity, or dps gear with lower amount?
  22. Ok....I'll feed your troll post on purpose, because I do the same in forums outside of pvp ( for reasons explained in previous post...lol). 1. Like others have said. Nobody is making you do it, but I'll go one step further......who the **** uses M1-4X for anything other than crafting???? Oooo....but then again....I don't do PvE so maybe he is GOD. 2. Let's see.....new planets since launch...hell 4, 5, ??? New OPs and FPs from those???? 10-15??? Dailies from those.....**** I have no idea.....New WARZONES?????? You PvErs complain we always get new this and that.....PLEASE....they screwed class balance because of your dam OPs, give you tons of content...and you troll fir f'ckg M1-4X???? By now I know the OP won't say a word, because he was obviously trolling or is like...HOLY ****...what was I thinking complaining about doing pvp for PvE in a dam PVP forum.

  24. LOL. Not at all my man. Not getting froogy at all. Why wait a GCD when you can have instant DPS. Hits about the same, less energy. The times are just reversed.
