  1. Hey! The Lego SW games were fun... (Okay, maybe not the Clone Wars one)
  2. A little off topic, but is there any proof about that? I'm worried that after the bad launch of ESO, the higher ups might see it as a sign of "Elder Scrolls isn't in anymore, MOAR FALLOUT." I know they said the MMO wouldn't affect the single player games, but that was said when ESO was going to be THE game to play. ESO also covers all of/most of Tamriel, so I'm a little concerned about where it could be located, since anything they choose will be already played through in the MMO. Sorry for the off topic discussion, but if you can't tell, I am a HUGE Elder Scrolls fan, and after the ESO situation, I am a little worried about my favorite franchise/series/fictional world. But on Kotor 3, I don't really care. I might be signing my death warrant by saying this, but I didn't really care for Kotor, and I never played Kotor 2. I also don't really care for Revan. I wouldn't object though, I know a lot of people who would love a new Kotor game.
  3. If anyone wants to see an empty room with a legacy storage vault, sure, they can knock themselves out. I'll let it be open. Not like anything is going to happen.
  4. Merc, DPS- HK, and Skadge on harder stuff Assassin, Tank-Treek (want to start using my other comps now that my gear is high enough to not worry a lot during dailies) PT, Switch a lot- HK Vanguard, Tank- Aric Jugg Tank- Fluffy/Broonmark, Jaessa Marauder- Vette, Fluffy/Broonmark Shadow, DPS- Treek Sage, DPS- Qyzen and Treek Scoundrel, DPS- Treek Guardian DPS- Kira, and Treek for harder stuff Sniper- Lokin (Only agent companion I like, and a healer is the best role to accompany a sniper imo) A lot of variety in there huh? HK is such an amazing companion, his one shot ability alone makes him the best in DPS. That along with his voice and lines, makes it pretty hard to use other companions. Even though I don't really like Treek, having her there makes things really easy. She is, without a single doubt, the best tank companion in the game. (I like Fluffy, Skadge, and Qyzen enough to warrant using them over her in those select cases.) It sucks, the majority of my favorite companions are melee tanks. And, unfortunately, they happen to be the worst role in the game (comp wise). A little off topic, but below are my favorite companions for the classes character wise, nothing to do with performance
  5. Well..... Here, and here would say otherwise. And, as others mentioned, we get CC every month. You could also follow one of them links these guys are showing off. (Though, on a side note, I agree. It's not just this game, but the other ones that charge around this price area, I just think it's a little much for a service like that.)
  6. I can't wait for the following: (not in order) Bloodborne Dragon Age Inquisition Battlefield Hardline (I got in the Beta, I REALLY like it (I didn't like BF3 and I HATED 4)) Destiny (Got in Alpha, I really enjoyed it. This is probably my most anticipated one) Far Cry 4 Evolve Battlefront A few years ago, I would have agreed with you on the Halo thing. Halo 2 got me into gaming, and I was a HUGE Halo fan all the way up until 4. I wont get into it, but I hated Halo 4 with a passion. After that disaster, combined with a few moves from Microsoft, I decided to go Playstation this gen. So, I will not be getting any of the upcoming Halo games, although, the MC collection is a cool idea (even though it doesn't have Reach, which is my favorite of the series for multiplayer (invasion ftw!)) All in all though, E3 was pretty good this year.
  7. Is it just the preview? I thought for sure the pack was launching that day...
  8. In the Mental Defense tool tip for both the Shadow and Sage, it says "Mass Mind Control will now reduce all damage taken by X% for 6 seconds." Unless there was a secret class change turning Sages into tanks, I don't think that part should be in the tool tip. I haven't checked if it's the same for Sorcs.
  9. That's honestly what I thought going into this. Thanks for that.
  10. You.... you... you changed your avatars! I DON"T LIKE CHANGE!!!
  11. I agree with the guy about the ABC comedies. However, I used to like Modern Family. Though, the past two seasons have been real big let downs. It just isn't funny anymore.
  12. Greetings everyone. I recently bought a complete set of Battlemaster gear for my merc, I absolutely love the look. Problem is, it requires a valor rating of 60. I currently sit at 29, as I leveled this guy before 2.0 was even announced, not a great time for Mercs in PvP. I'm at level 55. I'm currently in full artifact gear besides my mh and oh, and I have battlemaster relics. I have a total of 920 WZ comms. With that given information, what would be the best way to get my valor up to 60? From my understanding, my gear will be near worthless in a war zone. Should I keep my relics because they have expertise on them? Also, should I buy the expertise crystals for my mh/oh? Essentially, any help you are willing to give is needed. I have no idea what to do from here.
  13. Thanks man. Yeah, while typing this, I knew it would be very unlikely to ever happen. There would be a very large amount of worked involved on Biowares part, the biggest I see, would be the amount of voice working that would be involved. They would have to essentially have 16 different sets of lines, two unique sets for each class (would respond differently to a Republic Trooper then he would to a Sith Warrior) , one if you decide to corrupt him and the other for the light side. That's also not including the romance lines. So, while unlikely, it's cool to think about. Companions are a really important part of the game to me, and I would like to see them expanded on a little.
  14. The sad part is, I have a friend who actually plays like this.... No wonder he is always the victor in our duels and top rank on the score boards. Now I know his secrets, thank you for this guide, I was playing my class so wrong. On a side note, adding the skill tree was a tremendous help. I was putting my skill points in all the wrong places.
  15. The idea is found here. I didn't know if it should be posted in the CM Suggestion or here, so I decided to do this.
  16. Greetings everyone. I have recently been putting some thought to a companion I would love to see added to the game. The more I thought about it, the more I liked it. I have brained stormed the following ideas. First though, the key element to this companion, is player choice, something I find very lacking on the companion department. Also, there is a lot of stuff open to suggestions, this kind of thing isn't one of my strong points. Acquiring him I absolutely hated how there was no quest involved with obtaining Treek. But, getting HK for the 6th time can be a real hassle as well. And, Treek made Bioware money. This will be a middle grounds sort of scenario. It involves a quest, (short to medium length) and makes you pay for it. And of course, a horrible story that I thought of. You can either buy a pass from the same vender we bought Treek from, or buy the pass directly off of the Cartel Market. Once you have that pass, you meet with either some smuggler or pirate. He informs you that he just deserted his crew (most likely pirate) and that they are holding a force user captive. He gives you the coordinates, because he just got a huge heap of credits from you, and off you go. You fly to the ship, board it, kill all the bad guys, and rescue him. I'm really bad with stories, so I have no idea how he ended up in this mess. Either way, you saved him, he now will work with you. Class role Since the only class archetype that a companion doesn't fill is the Force Healer, I started my brain storming on the basis that he would be just that, a Force Healer. But as time moved on, and I picked up the theme of player choice, I decided to scratch that, in a way. What if we as the player could choose his role? I was thinking, once we acquire him, and begin mentoring him, we could chose the path that he takes as far as class. We could choose to go for the Warrior/Knight build, and choose the Marauder/Sentinel or the Juggernaut/Guardian class, or have him go the Inquisitor/Counselor build, and choose the Assassin/Shadow or Sorcerer/Sage. Once we have his class selected, we could choose his role, abilities, and maybe even a skill tree system similar to us players. This would literally allow anyone to use this companion without having to choose between roles and character, and would open up a huge range of possibilities for companions in the future, and maybe even some revamps for our current companions. Character There isn't one force using companion that is romance-able to female PC's. So, for the sake of equality, I feel this companion should be a male. Since he will be romance-able, he needs to be a near human species. Originally I thought of a Human, plain and simple, but that was boring, and not very player driven. So, what if we got to customize him ourselves? We can choose his race, body type, and even facial features, to the full extent of player characters. We could choose between all the playable races for diversity. This would make each players companion truly unique and their own. Another completely new feature to this companion, is his romance-ability. Either gender should be allowed to romance him. This idea is very largely inspired by Jaesa. His personality would be chosen by the player. Upon rescuing him, or shortly after, we could have control if he will be a more Dark Side based companion, or Light Side. This could be chosen from corrupting him or “healing” (couldn't think of a better word) him. Personally, I wouldn't want to see him as an extreme baby eating psycho path, or the goody two shoes cub scout that you can turn Jaesa into though. That's just personal opinion. There you have it. I know it's not likely to happen. It involves quite a bit of work on Biowares part, with all of the animations, extra coding, and the crazy amount of voice work they have to do. But it could also make some good bank, especially if we were charged for the appearance customization, and maybe role respecs etc. I just wanted to put it out there. I think it would be pretty cool. So, what do you all think of this, would you like to see something like this added? I'm excited to hear your thoughts.
  17. Awesome, I can't get enough of these double XP weekends. Thank you!
  18. Me and my friend refer to those as Flame Twirl, and Hemorroid(?) Burst. Both look bad in my opinion.
  19. I found the first two chapters of the BH story to be pretty good. The third one it really fell apart. I felt like a was an imperial soldier, not a Bounty Hunter. I am only on Balmorra on my trooper, but I am really enjoying the story so far, the companions are great, the voice acting is awesome, and the story is pretty cool. I'm playing a dark Trooper, and its awesome. If animations are important to you, go PT. Vanguards, in my opinion, have the worst animations in the game, even more so then Sages. The Power Tech also makes more sense. If you are going to be up close to an enemy, what would be more convenient, a large clunky rifle, or a small compact pistol? And, rocket punch>>>>>>>whatever the VGs version is. I can say the same about their gap closer (tank tree), and flamethrower. Voice acting, once again, in my opinion is much better on the Trooper side. The male can play both a light and a dark Trooper, while I can only see the BH's being dark. On the female side, Jennifer Hale did an AMAZING job, and is my favorite female VA in the game, absolutely astounding. The female BH..... Quite the opposite, she is my least favorite, right next to the Smuggler female. My two cents.
  20. I'm re-doing the looks on my Power Tech. One of the things I was interested in was some kind of spiked gauntlets or something similar. The Shield tech does two punching moves, so I want some gloves that look like would like they would do a lot of damage. If there isn't any thing with spikes, just something that would do some damage, such as the Heartless Pursuer gloves.
  21. Vehz, is my Human Vanguard, taking great inspiration from Sgt. Barnes from the movie Platoon. Both in appearance and actions. Selayne is my female Cyborg Commando. I don't really know what I'm doing with her.
  22. Bamf, plain and simple. Despite it being true , it was also like 4 in the morning, and I was with a group of friends when I did the rename. I'm surprised I haven't had to change it.
  23. You know, I was actually pretty pessimistic about this show. I was a HUGE fan of TCW, and I was worried that they canceled such a good show for some "kiddie" pos. The character videos didn't do this show much justice in my eyes. But this clip has actually made me optimistic for Rebels (especially the Tie Fighter explosion, pay close attention to that.) Don't get me wrong, I still have plenty of doubts about this show, my biggest being what they are doing with the Empire. One of the biggest things TCW was humanize the clones. I feel that was one of the biggest, if not THE biggest them to it. From the videos they have release, its looking like they are turning the Empire into the "big dumb bad guy," who appear to also be quite faceless. Also, a few of the character (*coug* punky kid, and "cowboy Jedi"). I have a few more, but they are small, and not worth mentioning. But, I an now pretty excited for the show. Thanks for showing this. Ps, Chopper and Blums character loom awesome. And this clip made me like Chopper even more.
