M 50 is still 750 points shy of Light VI. What's the fastest way to grind light side points?

I play purely PvE, no PvP. I leveled to 50 as tank spec with either Kira spanking or Doc healing. Kira was more fun for role play, but Doc was EZ Mode. Now I'm 50 and doing my dailies. I want to run hard mode FPs with my guild, but I have a problem. I don't really like tanking. Not for groups anyway. As a Gurdian am I doomed t oforever tank, or can I DPS as a Guardian? FWIW I'm still tak spec for my dailies, but as I get them I'm replacing all my blue Gurdian stuff with Might stuff.

What will give better stats - A purple item, or an orange item with all purple mods? Are there some purple items that are modable? do that give any benifit over the orange items I leveled up with?

rule of thumb - play on the server with the highest population.

The lightsabers you get will all have red color crystals. You can change the color crystals. They come in a variaty of colors.

Always keep in mind that the majority of your XP doesn't come from killing monsters, it comes from the quest turn in. So if you want to level then you have to quest. And don't ignore those "Kill 20 Henchmen" bonus quests. Yes you get XP for killing the mobs, but you get far MORE XP for finishing the quest. Also, try to always log out from a Cantina, your ship or Fleet. That way you'll mave Rested State and you'll earn extra XP. Keep that XP bar green! Another way to make XP fast is to go back to a previous planet and do the Bonus Quest series. You should outlevel the content, meaning you'll brease through the quest chain.

I see the next x-pac, where level cap gets raided to 60, as perfect time for a formal declaration of war by both sides.

1) Oh yeah. Each world had one. Drop one and it grants a Title. Bring firends. 2) Nope. No tap backs on that one. 3) Warzones. Hard Mode Flashpoints. Operations. Anyone who says there is no end game content just isn't trying. 4) Sounds like speeders. Beats the hell out of walking.

Well, that was kinda the whole point. I'm 34 and ust finished Alderaan. I was wanting to plan out how I was gonna go back and do my bonus quests.

Always remember that, for pve stuff, the XP is in the quest turn in. Seriously though, it is so easy to outlevel your content. Just by doing your class quest, all the side quests you can find, then the bonus quest series, then the Heroic 2+ & 4+ quests, the occational Esseles/Black Talon run, occational Warzone, occational Space Mission. SO much content in this game. I'm level 35, just finished Act 1 and I outlevel my class story line by about three levels.

I recommend orange armor & weapon with Gaurdian armorings & saber hilt.

Nothing is more fun that Force Pushing Elites off high bridges in the Heroic area of Tatooine.

Is all Social armor still light armor only, or does it scale up now?

I find MMOs are more fun if I have guildies to chat with as I'm questing, plus it helps with Flashpoints, Heroic missions and Operations. Sith Assasin is the miror class to Jedi Shadow. The names of things are all different, but everything else is 100% the same. Roll Empire, level an Assasin and play with your friends.

I like the Balance tree for PVE, but that doesn't mean you will.

I'm tank spec and rely on Kira for DPS. Odds are I'd shelve Kira for boss fights, rely on my own dps and take the healing

"Her" armor? So, like, just the pieces that are Kira-specific and offered as quest rewards? Or any armor she wares?
