Hey Guys, I've been looking to upgrade my 6 year old samsung 20" monitor to something that will give me better gaming performance. I've been looking at the Alienware AW2310 OptX and the Dell UltraSharp U2410 but can't make my mind up on which will give me more when gaming... What do you guys think?? Thanks, VII

Thanks for that, I wouldn’t say that the performance I've been getting is terrible and the game runs fast and smooth but just with everything set at low. I have been tempted to hold out for the revision of the x51 in the next few weeks just to see if they up the PSU and the GPU once nVidia release the new mid ranged 600 series cards but I could be waiting a long time for this… People seem to throw this comment in often when it comes to Alienware but from what I can see the savings made by building your own comparable spec system isn’t as large as everyone tries to make it out to be. Let’s say I build the same exact spec on a well know UK parts dealers website, you’re talking around £1000 without adding a motherboard, case or power supply. The Alienware built is only £1191 so unless you’re telling me I can get a good case, power supply and motherboard all for under £191… oh but wait, wouldn’t I then be spending the same amount of money for almost the exact system and also have to build it myself?????? Hey Guys, I’ve been looking to get a new PC for some time now and since I started playing SWTOR last week my gaming rig is really starting to show its age. My computers not old by any mean (about 4 years) but as we all know, the world of PC gaming seems to move on so much faster than console gaming in regards to system requirements that everything feels outdated within 6 months… Anyway, to get down to my question. What I’m looking for is a new gaming rig to let me play SWTOR at full settings rather than the “low” settings that I have to run it at right now. I’ve been looking at the Alienware X51 system with a nice new Dell Monitor to compliment it but I don’t think the X51 would be powerful enough to get out of it what I would be expecting so I’m starting to think I might need to look elsewhere… Does anyone have any ideas? Would have been nice if it was open to everyone but I guess that’s just our luck for living anywhere else in the world but the US. I don't know what shipping is like in the US but I could ship this anywhere in the UK for £6.50 with UPS so I can't see where people are pulling these silly shipping figures from..... Anyway, it’s not for us none US'ers so no point in reading all the competition info to see the "US Only" at the end I guess.... Maybe they could place it at the start or even in the title for the competition next time.....?? VII

Hey Guys, Since it looks like we are down for the rest of the evening (EU Player) I thought I would ask a few of the other questions that my friends and I have wanted to ask 1). World Bosses – Do they exist in SWTOR?? 2). Character Specialisation change – If at a later level I wanted to change from Mercenary to Powertech can I do so or is my initial specialisation final?? 3). End Game – Is there life in SWTOR once you hit level 50 or is that pretty much the end as far as it goes with things to do?? 4). Spaceships indoors – I’m not 100% sure about this but my friends and I have seen people flying small spaceships around the inside of Fleet… to us this doesn’t seem “normal”…. Were inside, why are people flying spaceships?? I think that’s it but no doubt when they all get on vent later this evening someone will mention something I’ve missed. Thanks, VII

We didn't ask for SWTOR to be exclusively hosted in the US though did we.....?? Blizzard seems to manage hosting their game worldwide with different maintenance windows and downtime.

Hey, Like most new players of SWTOR I’ve dabbled in the “Crafting” side of the game and tbh I like the way it works with the missions and the item gathering, it frees up my time to quest and have fun rather than grind out crafting materials. I guess I only have two things that I really want to know and they are about the changes that 1.2 is going to make to the current skills and what crew skills are worth investing in with end game in mind. Hope someone can shed some light on this because I’ve read lots of different posts and also had a quick Google and there seems to be lots of mixed opinions about who, where, what, when and why basically! Hey Owsley, thanks for your reply. It appears that I left the hanger where I first landed at the Imperial Fleet and that is where my quest line is due to continue (Shuttle to Dromund Kaas). I’m still new to SWTOR but if this quest line was supposed to be completed between Lv.9-10 to then get your class choice at Lv.10 like the class creation page and both of my friends said will I be punished by out levelling the quest line and receive less exp/rewards?? I’ll be honest; I play SWTOR with two friends who both chose to play Sith Warrior/Inquisitor and at the point when they both reached the Imperial Fleet they both said they had already made their class choice so I thought I must have missed something… Hi Beemerchick, It looks like I didn’t get on the other ship in the first hanger and that is where my quest line is due to continue I’m not really sure how to explain this but what I was meaning is, is the Powertech a decent worthwhile tank or will I always be sitting on the bench waiting to be put in to the “first team” because another class out tanks the Powertech, I guess the same goes for the DPS on the Mercenary? Hi Guys, I’m hoping you can help me… I believe that I am coming to the end of or possibly even finished my Bounty Hunters starting quest line and would just like to know when I get the chance to make my role//class choice, at present I have entered the Imperial Fleet, I’m level 12 but still no quest to start making a class choice. TBH I wasn’t that bothered but both of my friends have had their choice by now and even the class creation pages states Lv.10…… Maybe I’ve missed something but I was sure that I did every quest available on Hutta. Does anyone know where I might have gone wrong?? Also, I know the character creation page gives some information about the two possible Bounty Hunter classes but from past experience in other games this tends to be so/so at best so I was wondering if you guys can give me a better idea of what each role/choice actually does in game and which is the “better” choice for me. Oh I almost forgot, one of my friends has asked if he can change his characters physical attributes at any point in the future? I know a lot of other mmos offer hair style changes and colour alterations but he is asking more about eye colour, complexion and facial hair so I thought it would be best to ask on here and then if he can't make the changes he wants he can always start again if it's that important to him.
