So I've been doing a few HM flashpoints trying to get myself geared a little better mostly just because I think the recruit armor looks ugly on my Jedi. And as I feared, all of the groups I've gone through have wanted to spacebar their way through the story and skip past content like optional bosses and stuff. BUT I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I wasn't completely out of my league in HM flashpoints like I had feared I would be. I thought for sure I would be too undergeared to contribute anything of worth to the group, but I have been able to hold my own. Of course, the groups I have been with have been much better geared than me, and they have all been very nice about helping me through the content. But it was still a pleasant surprise to find out that it wouldn't be as awful of an experience as I had thought it would be. Now the only problem is getting enough commendations to get better gear, it seems like it is going to take forever.

If it was just a copy paste error wouldn't they have the same exact words instead of "authorization" vs "license"?

Did you marry a companion? It would be interesting if they wouldn't let you marry a different charcter because you are already married to a companion.

I have a fresh 50 in all recruit gear, are Hard Mode flashpoints the first step in gear progression? I'm afraid I'm not very good at flashpoints due to my subpar graphics card causing lag. Where do dailies fit in? I've only tried them a couple times but the vendors I saw didn't have any armor sets that I noticed. They only had things like Relics that would take me months to farm the commendations for at the rate I play.

I am curious why they don't like the idea of a toggle for your character's sexuality? There are toggles for your characters' genders, species, etc. I would have thought it would just be one more aspect of desinging your character to be the way you want it?

I would have prefered that you could get him through solo quests but I will grudginly group up in order to get HK-51. I just hope the groups I join don't mind carrying my weight, and like to see the cutscenes because I like the story and don't like to spacebar through it.

Oh it does make me happy. Story is my favorite part of this game, so I like seeing updates like this.

I'm also super curious about how HK-51 will be unlocked. I currently have only one character on the Rep and one character on the Imp. Once he's unlocked, if I decide to create new characters will I need to unlock him all over again? Will he be unlocked right from the start? Or will he be unlocked at a certain point in the game (like when you get your ship)? I'm also hoping that HK-51 has a lot of customizations. I would like each of my characters to have a different looking HK droid. And while we're at it I would also like some ship droid customizations.

What was the alien species of the singer in Jabba's palace called? The one with the mouth at the end of a long snout? It would be interesting to have one of those as a companion.

If you are having a lot of trouble you can ask in general chat for someone to come help you. I've helped out a couple of people, it was kind of fun for me to see small snippets of their story.

How about a Hutt companion? It could be a ranged tank. The only problem would be it would look kind of ridiculous to see a bunch of Hutts wandering around on the fleet.

It is explicitly stated that you will be her new master taking over for Master Kiwiiks. She calls you master (not because you are a jedi master, which you aren't, but because she is your padawan), and you (and other npcs) call her your padawan. And romance can start as early as Nar Shaddaa, well before the end of act 1. If you don't believe me for whatever reason search "Kira Carsen Romance and Story Part 1" on youtube.

When she "officially" joins you they say that she will be joining you as your padawan, you will be taking over for Master Kiwiiks. It's not uncommon for padawans to have more than one master.

I didn't get darkside points for romancing Kira either, even though she was also my padawan too. I felt icky about it like I was abusing my position of power over her, so I headcannoned it so that she wasn't actually my padawan. We were just partners, but I was the lead jedi on the case so her being a padawan to me was really just a little joke between us.

They aren't adding "new things every chance they can get". There is a nice mix of new and familiar. And frankly, I like it that way.

Did they do Alderaan last week? I had to miss it, I was majorly bummed out about it.

I would like datacrons unlocked to legacy as well, the only problem becomes when you start a new character they would be super overpowered. Maybe they could do it so that it only unlocks the datacrons for a certain planet once you reach that planet? Or it unlocks the datacron once you discover it's section on the map? I'm not sure that would be something they would be able to do.

I haven't been back on my ship since the patch, but now I'm kind of scared to!

Don't worry, you can probably buy one in the cartel shop once it opens.

I like Rusk enough, but I wish he had been more fleshed out. He doesn't really have much of a character arc like everyone else does.

I try my best to avoid anything work related on my days off, I'm sure it's no different for the employees at EA.
