Well just got in the game and have made it to level 32 with a Hybrid Bodyguard/Arsenal spec originally promoted by Werdan. Funny how this patch shows up just when I got SCG and was trying to learn how to be a backup healer . Once the patch hits, I will be going straight arsenal which in a way provides a nice straight forward role for my character...and less need to explain/defend my spec to PUGs/Guildmates .

@ Iandayen, A bit off topic, but has anyone tested the Hybrid heal-dps Merc spec on the test server? I know instant reaction is that it has been gutted but that is what some felt with arsonel in general. I'm level 31 following the hybrid build and would like to know its future viability.

Well, I personally think that the prices on materials are exceedingly high. Especially scavenging goods. Yesterday, I saw Plaststeel (a tier 3 metal) going as high as 1697/metal. When you are using 4 of those per blue mod, and only crafting a mod usable for level 20-30 characters, something is a bit out of whack. From reading the forums, this is nothing new. Scavenging metals have been going for rediculously high prices compared to the finished goods for a while. Probably why BW specifically states that in Patch 1.2 they plan on making the crafting skills more desirable...though that might only raise the prices of gathering materials further...lol.

Hi, Noobe question here: I have had two quests grey out recently. What I mean by that is rather than the lettering of the title be green in color (as is normally the case), it turns grey. What is the ramifications of that? Thanks

I'm a guy who plays a femal character. Why, you ask? Answers pretty simple really. If I have to sit in front of screen for hours at a time, I would rather do so looking at an attractive woman (even if fictional). Not really into the whole "becoming your character". To me its a fictional person...ie not me. So I don't really have any "bonds" or what have you.
