  1. We don't need a slider. Most of the people asking for help on class quests I've run into seem to only be doing class quests. You need to do the other ones, too. Each mission has a recommended level. One or two levels below that are doable. Five or ten (I have seen this) means you can't do it. Do some other missions, gain some xp, and go back when you are appropriately leveled.
  2. I'm rather surprised that there are no Miraluka companions. Disappointed, too.
  3. Is Taris worth saving? No. Death Star it. Please. I beg of you In all of its incarnations, Taris is boring, tedious, and entirely too long. Now...as far as lore goes...Still, probably not. It will be entirely too expensive in credits, effort, and most importantly, lives. Not that Sareesh cares about that.
  4. Kane Lives. Godzilla Lives. Revan Lives. I was extremely disappointed by the Foundry. It looked cool, and Revan did some really cool stuff. But it wasn't enough. I was an Assassin tank, and I never went below half health! (Had a great healer.) None of us did. Fighting with Revan is like fighting with Godzilla. However good your support, if you do happen to win, you should be beat up pretty badly. What I would like to see is a chance for the Sith, especially ones who joined the Revanites, to actually join Revan, but I know that won't happen. It would be too cool, and that isn't allowed. What do I think will happen? Revan fell to the Dark Side during the fight on the Foundry. The Dark Side being what it is, he'll probably be a boss an operation group fights immediately prior to fighting the Emperor in the same operation.
  5. Also, he'd been defeated and rebuilt. Revan said he wouldn't be the same after being rebuilt. Not sure why, as it wouldn't have been the first time, but there you go.
  6. The first planet I like...at ALL is also the one I like the best. Belsavis. After that, I also like Corellia, except for the annoying habit it has of one group bumping you into another group, who bumps you into another group. By the time you die, you've killed like 14 enemies, but they've manspammed you into oblivion. I hate Taris in all of its forms, though the Imperial side is much better (fewer rakghouls, I think it is), and Balmorra is terrible.
  7. Indeed. At least about that. It seems the Force "forces" people to lie. The Jedi believe in telling the truth...except for when they don't. The Sith will lie their lips off, but they don't try to hide what they really are. For the most part. For me, Jedi vs Sith is much like the choice of GDI vs. Nod. I very much dislike the Jedi and GDI, but they're less likely to kill you than the Sith or Nod is.
  8. The Jedi do/say a lot of heinous and/or stupid things that the Star Wars universe sees as noble. That's one of the reasons why I really don't like them. It's just that the Sith are so much worse.
  9. My original character was Myrddin, the British form of the name Merlin. I heard a friend describing the knight combat system, and it reminded me of the battle awen described in a book about Merlin by Stephen Lawhead and couldn't resist. Of course...with the Great And Evil Server Merging, I was forced to lose that name, because someone else already has it on both my servers. :'(
  10. I'm thinking probably not... One blast of lightning blew T3 apart. Now who would you be most likely to shoot first, the big droid with the rifle, or the small droid with no obvious weaponry? The Emperor only paid T3 any attention when he found out the droid had a weapon, so it seems likely that HK, who would have an obvious weapon ready to use would have drawn his ire almost immediately. It is possible that his inclusion would have given the Emperor too many things he had to take care of all at once (which, incidentally, might have led to a different vision for Scourge...), but I think it most likely the only likely additional result would be that HK died too. I have often pondered this. That said, Revan's problem was the Emperor was a Flashpoint, and he could only get two other people to help him, so he brought a companion.
  11. My main problem is that all the jedi-including star wars books I've read repeatedly state that nobody is or can be good enough to weild two full sized lightsabers. I though that was odd, because that's the way I usually played KOTOR in my early days (I always go single, now), and we saw Anakin do it, but it was said so much I figgured retconning was in effect. Now, it's as common as the day is long. A single saber can't compete damage wise with dual sabers, and my brain insists on trying to reconcile what I've read with what I see. It's not working.
  12. I liked how in KOTOR, I could just walk up to Juhani and start talking to her. There were times that you had to get more xp to continue down a story arc, but there was enough to the conversations that it didn't usually become a problem. KOTOR 2 had some cool ideas, what with having conversations be dependant on the amount of influence you have over someone, but it wasn't handled quite right. You couldn't just talk to Visas. Visas had one conversation she'd have with you, essentially. If you wanted to, you could go through it again, but the only differences would be in what you said. You could literally have the same exact conversation twenty times. And after you left Peragus, you could only ever ask Atton if he wanted to play pazaak until he liked you. There needs to be a mix of the two. Have conversations you can just have with them, but have certain subjects only broachable after a certain amount of affection.
  13. Not exactly the type of thing that you were looking for, but... I just HATE that.
  14. I don't think either story is boring. I think certain planets are hideously boring, whatever class you are. Now, playstylewise...I prefer my Guardian, but like my Shadow a lot.
  15. I have to say that Juhani was my absolute favorite character in KOTOR. So...yeah. I'll be making a Cathar Jedi Knight in her honor. Just like I've been making Miraluka assassins/shadows in Visas' honor. Now, I just need to get myself an HK series droid...
  16. The Jedi are supposed to expose corruption. I totally see where you're coming from, and this is an issue I've debated with myself since I first ran into it. But corruption must be exposed, especially in government, and in this case, this is the only way to do it. And anyway, decieving the person who sent you by bringing something else and lying about it isn't a particularly light sided choice, either.
  17. Well, when I got Tanno Vik (the jerk), Jorgan offered to put him in his place as my XO, but aside from that, I don't remember anything.
  18. Which is exactly why the senators need to be exposed in both cases. The people have a right to know and to decide if they want their senators to continue on the course.
  19. That's not the one I have a problem with. The one I have a problem with is when you are going to expose another Senator's secret bill to sever the Republic's ties to the Jedi, and you get dark side points for making the government that much more transparent. I understand you're stealing something, and I think you should be able to get dark side points for that transaction, but darn it, the people have a right to know what their government is doing.
  20. Jorgan. First off, I guess you could say I'm racist. I like Cathars better than I like humans. Secondly, because I really think that Jorgan would make a better XO. And finally, because he's had to put up with so much, it just seemed right to get him at least to the rank he'd lost when I took over.
  21. I love tanking, for some reason. I must have six Guardians across the servers. I love being the center of attention while my friends annihilate the enemy. Unfortunately, if things suddenly get chaotic, I can lose my mouse and lose track of the fight. I adjust fairly quickly, but sudden, unexpected chaos frazzles me.
  22. I don't mind the voices for my characters...but... The Jedi Knight male voice fits my Miralukas a LOT better than it fits the Twi'leks I've seen. Don't like it with Sith or Chiss either.
  23. Oddly enough, Qyzen. The only companion I've ever gotten full affection with is Kira, Jorgan is my favorite species, and I like Wookies a good deal, but for some reason, Qyzen is my favorite. Don't understand it.
  24. So...has there been any concrete date set for when Cathar are added? I keep checking to see if they are, but so far...
