Yeah.. Saw that. However, you can end up unlocking everything. But , you are right in a way... You can't have everything in the arena , as you choose specific loadouts.... Kind of Counter Strike...

Folks, Here is my first impression of GSF. - First thing First this is a PVP Expansion. Period. I don't genarally do PVP much. But wanted to try, as I like any flight sim game . - Played around 14 matches at the time of this post. Noticed it has a few things going around. Ship customization and unlock not over the top, but does take time to understand. However I expected a little more character progression, ship upgrades are just unlocks ... Eventually you will have everything . In fact few have already unlocked everything. - I Was not able to do squat with the fighter and the scout. (probably I suck )). Gunship is fun, reminds me of a Q3 Arena Railgun Camping. - Playing on the Imps side Rep seems to always win.. Not sure it has any balance issue or just that the GSF Reps are really good players!! - Really missing the use of a controller. Hopefully they will add it soon. - FPS and shooter PVPer will absolutely love this. - Will be doing this, As I am having fun. I really Suck at the moment , but hopefully will improve. - Overall I am happy what BW gave as a free expansion. What do you guys think?

Bigger Question : Will you delete your level 40 ?? wow after spending so much time on a toon to get it to 40. I also have this mania of re-rolling but never deleted any toon above 20. But yes the Legecy buff stays.

Sorry, but really can't believe the op! This is a (mmo)RPG Game right ? Character Progression is the main reason people role playing games, isn't it ? AM I MISSING SOMETHING ? I am subscribed to this game since the Launch and yes with my busy life I just have 1 level 55 toon! I guess that is what keeps me interested in this game. That plus I have 10 more toons to level up , gear up enjoy the content along the way, see thing I haven't seen before! But I guess, the perspective of gamers are changing , all you need is hack and slash..... Good old days of RPG's are gone, I remembered level 20 in Baldur's Gate kept me engaged for months!!!

The OP must understand, changing a Engine is almost impossible at this stage of the game. TOR is using Hero engine. Now to change it would require them to re-write and re-design almost everything. It would be much easier to release SWTOR 2 instead of that.

I had an interesting thought... when I saw this. Let me present a what if scenario; In a hypothetical case, If someone, let say me, inherits a large sum of $$. And I don't have any clue what to do with it. So just to Frack with the team at Bioware I decided to invest 5000 $ each week on Swotor Cartel Coin and buy everything in the CM and then list them in a very low price in the GTN. Now that will frack up the game economy somewhat... But the larger question is what would the devs and mods do. Do they ban me ? they can't right ... If I have money to burn and I am not doing anything wrong ? Do they ask me to stop ? They will be loosing a steady income of 5k every week.

Guys, I am a founder (well it doesn't mean anything in this game) and a sub since start. I was thinking would this trick have worked. First If I didn't purchase ROTHC. Then If I didn't renew my sub in August. Now I take a new Sub from Sept . Well then I could of nicked 10 $ content for free. Yes I would have lost a month worth or CC, but I think that would have be still a profitable deal. If this would have worked, it shows that the Management really don't have a project plan, they are just going by the motion.

Guys, I have just started with my IA, Operative. Want some expert advise on the specs. I was thinking to make a hybrid Healing/Lethality. Something like 18/0/23. Also to let you know I do PVE a lot but the reason for this build is PVP. I know I am not a PVPer but it's high time I give it a chance before I call it a day. I am also tempted for a Healing/Concealment build, because I am enjoying the Shiv , backstab.Although it is too early for me to judge. So any suggestion is welcomed.

I agree with the OP. In fact I am here since beta and have one 55 lvl character and 7 toon all under 30. But, I have friends who really rushes through and I enjoy their company as well. Without these people, we couldn't have a healthy game economy. They become the geeks and they do help you out. I guess We need both group of players to balance everything. Think about it if everyone is as slow as I am ... Bioware probably didn't need to do any Content update for next 3 years!!!:p

Folks, Wanted to do an analysis if it is still worth keeping subscription. I am one of the oldest one like many of you. I do love this game, but I rarely do FP, WZ or OP. So with 2.1 all about the Cash shop, I want to see how many decided to cancel sub. Only way we can make ourselves heard is by clicking that cancel button. It could be for better or worse. I need some impartial comments from the gamers who actually love the game and it's content to decide. The forum doesn't have a poll option so I will do it the hard way . I don't want to be called a loyalist or anything. I liked this game right from the start (EA didn't give a beta key to me, being in the sub continent I think no one here got it). May be because I love Star Wars or may be because I have played all Bioware games so many times. I have seen agitated people in the forums and in other part of the web, most of them were right to be upset. I didn't like the game going F2P, but wanted to live with it. I have been a subscriber since launch. Hopefully I will continue to be one. That is big commitment specially when I just play during weekends and may be just 8 hours a week. I did enjoy last week's Double XP. So I believe this is going in the right direction. However, EA/Bioware should realize that with games like GW2 Tera Online, they have to work really hard to continue this. I will be here till they shut the server down or charge me more than 15 bucks a month.

Guys, I just did a WB ops in Alderaan. As usual it was a pick up group, not a scheduled guild activity. I remember these were fun when the game had no f2p option. Bunch of people shouting out in General chat and gathering around to take the world boss. I have been a Sub since day one. But I have friends who are F2P and I usually enjoy game-play with them when they are online. This is what happened today. The group had F2P players and Subs as well. All of us fought very hard and finally got the Boss down, after 15 mins of fight. Now it came to the loots . To start with the boss dropped unusual number of Artifact loot. 7 (Pink/Purple) Artifact drops. I saw each of them and greed -ed on 6 of them. And Needed on one level 300 Mission Discovery. When the roll completed, I didn't get anything. But as been part of lot of other MMO , it doesn't bother me at all. However the rest of started fighting on the chat including the Ops Lead. The Needers were F2P players and two Subs.. They were going at each other. They were swearing at each other, and somehow I felt that the F2P players were very desperate about those loots. IMO, I feel that this is because of few restriction posed on them. Like limit on Credits , unable to wear orange gear etc etc. I can understand both parties . The Sub said he had the right to Need on a item if he really needs it. The F2P players said that you can throw some credits and get it off GTN. Well they are right as well. So I don't know, I love this game but I don't like to be part of these incidents! So Bioware if you are reading this, I hope you will have some plans to resolve such issues. Hopefully we can have a friendly and enjoyable environment. We have enough fighting in the world over resources like oil and gas etc. We don't want that in a Game .

I am all game with the pricing model suggested. However , Region transfer should be included. I have character in one of the US server all leveled up to 50 and I play in EU . My work brought me to South Asia so, don't find anyone in the US servers during my time.

This is really a grey area at the moment . F2P vs S2P is not clear at the moment. Even I have doubts that will it be worth keeping subscription. I will keep my Subscription alive till F2P is launched and then decide on it. Advise for EA and Bioware , please don't try to impose more charges on subscribed users. We like the game and that's why we pay for it, if you had enough subscribed users I guess you won't have launched F2P. So please don't make any decision which will make you loose the existing subscribers.

Hey Guys, I am currently subscribed to Swtor. I will stick to this game because I still like it. I was just going over the features after F2P is launched. http://www.swtor.com/free/features Wondering if it would be worth keeping the subscription alive, because from the feature list it seems the F2P gamers will gain a lot where as Subscribed games doesn't have much to look forward to. Btw, I don't do operations at the moment so that isn't a glass breaker for me. I don't see why we should pay $15 month ? What do you think! any opinion is appreciated.
