  1. Your accuracy is too high, you'll need to replace your accuracy enhancements for power or surge or crit. You may need to look at the other classes BM gear to find it instead of accuracy- try marauder gear or sniper Black hole gear has some pieces without accuracy. Shoot for : BASE accuracy -100 - NO MORE , If you insist on attacking players with their defensive buffs on, 1.3 will allow you to pop target acquired. CRIt - 35 % -self buffed Surge -75 % These are the enhancement stats, the problem is- Sniper PVP gear all has accuracy, and it's stacked too high .
  2. Yes, but to do so you'll have to give up some good stuff in Engineering tree. You need 3 more points to be able to put 1 point into Imperial assasin. That means you will lose imperial methodology and efficient engineering. Those 3 points will give you 1 point into Imperial assasin. If you want 2 more points to fill up imperial assasin, You'll either need to lose the 2 points in lethality- 2%Crit not really needed if you max stats OR you need to lose cluster bombs. Or lose 1 cluster and lose interrogation probe. If you are going to that, you'd be better off going full marksman . IMHO explosive engineering, cluster bombs and imperial methodolgy is what makes the MM/Eng hybrid shine.
  3. The wall starts at defenders crate and goes about half way to the attackers spawn. this means defenders have to work harder(farther away) to get from one door to the other.
  4. I played VS on PTS yesterday, They changed the first area by: putting a wall up between the doors, so if you are defending one side and need to go to the other door you have to run almost to the defenders spawn to get around the wall. The wall starts just after the defnders jump down so you make your choice of which side of the wall to start defending on. after jumping on the big crate. This will help a bit.
  5. Great news. No matter what they do the "keeping guilds in tact" will always be the hardest thing. If they limit the transfer time from A-B and someones guild moves, but some people come on a few weeks later and no longer have the option to move to the server their guild moved to, This would be bad mmmmmkay. I would hope the window to move doesn't close.
  6. Kotor 1 was great, Kotor 2 seemed rushed and unfinished. Didn't EA get involved at that time. The companions were less interesting and the story fell apart at the end. I'd hate to see them ruin my memories of Kotor by continuing the trend and making a worse version of Kotor 2. However they almost accomplished just that with TOR.
  7. You will lose your burst on the EP/Ambush/FT rotation because of the adrenal nerf. That's completely unrelated to the RF change, it just happens to effect it and all other Burst rotations you have. If your smart, your opener now should be after the adrenal, no matter what opener you use. This won't be the case in the future. That 10K opener will be 8-9 k after the changes unless you don't use adrenals on it now. 10 K does seem low. (see what I did there)
  8. Sniper volley currently works great for energy regen, and is a lower tier ability. This change making it a 31 pt active ability will hurt the PVE snipers more because it will reduce sustained damage. Currently if spec'd 3 into it is procs about once every 7(15%) attacks and gives 50 % increase in energy regeneration for 10 seconds.(can not occur more than once every 20 seconds) Once they make it active instead of passive, it WILL have a cooldown, It will probably cost energy to use. The cooldown would have to be less than 30 seconds and the regen rate would have to be greater than 50 % for 10 seconds with minimal energy cost to use, to make it work better than it does.(for energy management) The reduced cooldown on our other attacks from it will be useless since it will unltimately result in lower energy to be able to use your current rotations. This means more rifle shots in boss fights. I don't see this as a good thing. And yes I know my numbers above are NOT exact, they are just an estimate. Someoen else can crunch the DPE numbers.
  9. On the bright side, We will have less people targetting us in PVP because we will have NO scary burst damage. Now they can just /emote laugh at us and focus on killing the healers and marauders.
  10. Why would you pop the "new adrenal" from stealth, according to the notes they won't boost your DPS, they will only reduce mitigation. These changes mean the only burst damage in PVP will result from the "new" proc type PVP relic. Totally random.
  11. If you like the Lethality tree , The Sniper is better suited. Lethality Sniper has longer range on primary attacks then the OP as already stated. OP's biggest hit in Lethality (CULL) requires a tactical advantage buff to use, Sniper does NOT. This is a huge difference. To get a tactical advantage you need to either use a close range Shiv, or get a TA from a heal, this means you have to break up your rotation by running in close or healing someone. It's just bad synergy for DPS.
  12. Marksman hits like a truck and will get you your 2.5 medal on your first Ambush. You just need to know where to set up and where not to so the melee train doesnt run you down. Marksman also shines earlier than Lethality. Lethality actually catches up when you get Cull. I like the MM/Eng hybrid best for my playstyle.
  13. Imperial is just more fun. Republic acting was too sugary and sweet, even the darkside choices didn't seem to fit. The Republic quests seemed to force you into doing something nice for someone to get information. "hey, I'll give you this key if you go way out of your way to free my brother". Imp choices at that point would be " I'll just kill you and take the key" Not on Republic., you end up wasting 30 minutes just to progress your quest.
  14. Yes, transfers/merges anything is better than zero PVP queues in a week. Can't wait. I care less what my toon names are as long as I can get a queue to pop.
  15. That explains why all 4 are firing, but it doesn't explain why after you wipe and return, the room is a constant burn before you even engage him again, Just stepping into the room causes burn damage that you can only survive for 5 seconds. that's a bug.
  16. Companion Tanks in Hard mode is ,,, well hard. They can't be buffed with adrenals, stims, or relics to reduce damge taken, They have no access to relics for stats or clickables. They also don't know when to move, so you need to passive them to get them out of FIRE. Presence does not help their tank ability, it doesn't effect, endurance, shield defense or any tankable stats. It only adds to primary stat so they can do more damage. It's easier to replace a player DPS with the DPS companions then it is to replace a Player tank with a companion tank. You only need to passive them to get them out of fire.
  17. Yep, that's the way it'll work JOE50 of the SMITH50 legacy. If you complain enough about that, they'll probably allow you to stay on your dead server. I'd rather be JOE50 with something to do.
  18. I see them in the underground eshka areas doing the belsavis dailies. Perfect Upari formation. The crystal formation is distinct as the crystals all point upward at the same angle.
  19. Looks to me like a pre-made destroying some PUG's . The PUG's probably just gave up and had a naked dance while the other team just beat them into a pulp. It's amazing how much damage you can do to someone when they have nothing equipped.
  20. Yep, the BM , Cent or Champion shell has the set bonus. I actually use 2 of my champion pieces for PVE and replace the mods to better PVE mods. that leaves me my BM set for PVP. I'm not grinding WH for PVP, the mod stats aren't much better, except the boots, which replace accuracy with power. Once the AUGment kits come out, you'll get your aug slots back on those 2 pieces. No need for WH, because to keep the set bonus you'll be stuck using the armor mods, which are substandard for PVE. I also think the IA PVP gear looks pretty good, except WH.
  21. It's a money sink. If they couldn't find things for people to spend cred's on everyone would have millions. Then how would the credit farmers make real world dollars?

  23. A long time ago in a ... anyway, Dungeons, go way back. back before any MMORPG there were MUD's, Multi-user Dungeons. I remember way back when I played a massive player online game thru the WINN network. Back then you logged on with your dial up modem connected to their site and played games online with other people, It was expensiive. You actually had to pay per hour that you connected to their site. You could play Red Baron(original), poker or a MUD (DnD game) with a screen that was nothing more than a maze where you moved your dot (player avatar) until the screen told you, you have encountered a troll . Oh the good old days when I spent over $100 a month to play online against other people. So your comment about dungeons being WoW are so far off. Dungeons are the foundation for all MMoRPG's today.
  24. Legacy is only killing Swtor if , BW gives it a higher priority to release then the stuff that will keep people sub'd. Oh that's right, that's what happened in 1.2. All the fluff was PTS tested, then they wait for the last week to test ranked warzones and didn't get it done. If they do that again for 1.3 and only get the legacy implemented instead of server mergers or transfer, You will be able to stick a fork in this game.
