I was gone for a while and have just rejoined the game. Starting with a trooper and looking to get some RP going. Is this guild still active?

Yeah, but you did, so it kinda failed. I don't understand the people that post and say they are part of either A. "the largest guild on the server" or B. "The best guild on the server". When I see things like this, I laugh.

I would love to just set up a op, where everyone pregames before and goes in to the op drunk. Just for a fun event, Drunk raiding.

Well regular down time is exactly once a week, so....yeah. Also when you signed the tos contract you agreed to allowing them do this...so no, they wont and shouldnt have to give anything back.

I was playing voidship, and we had made it to the second room. I was playing a smuggler and this one agent had been dogging me the entire match, which i didnt care that much about that. I saw the agent running across the bridege towards me, and in an instant of genius, I ran right at them, when I got close enough, hit my cover and then hit the pulse detonator, and sent that player flying right off the bridge. I laughed for like a minute after that.

couple of humorous moments Guss Tuno: "I heal you with Jedi magic." Smuggler: "Time to show these nuts a nutcracker." Imperial officer that killed his entire squad because he thought they were acting suspicious when they were planning him a surprise party. (I laughed pretty hard at this one). My Sith Sorcerer is kinda insane, just shocking everyone...just because. The duel on alderran with the smuggler. *shoots bad guy* "How dare you, the duel hasn't started." "Oh...well how about now." *shoots him again* There is plenty of humor. Unless you play a jedi, which to be honest, depending on how you play them, are not going to be the most humorous of people.

why does this feel like a scam?

I've had a couple instances of some people being jerks while rp'ing. These people were either trying to troll or just did not know how to rp at all. One spammed general chat, the other was spamming a RP channel that was made (a open holocomm channel IC). Instead of getting upset and all that, we trolled them right back, it was actually a bit of fun.

Republic commando series is great.

Are you going off movies or books? In the books, it describes that they were just bred to be extremely obedient and not question orders. So if they got an order that said "Hey the jedi are traitors, kill them" then they would do it. Also, by this point, I believe that Palpatine had already started inserting some of the second generation clones he had been making on that moon base of his. So those others were completely controlled by him.

I don't know exactly how it went, because I'm midway through the book Order 66 of the Republic Commando series, but I know that Kal Skirata, Omega and, I believe, Delta squad, along with the Nulls ignored the order and fled, and set up a underground railroad for those clones who ignored the order and wanted to escape.

Well they are, you need a group to do that. I have been about 5 levels over, to the point where I have had to abandon a couple of quests because they turned grey. This was up until Alderann, where I kinda just skipped most of it, and now am about one level under for Quesh. I barely do FP's and do about 1 or 2 WZ per day.

some experiences I've had rp'ing: A group of us republic characters, around like 8, were transporting some sith relics, that one of the group had taken from a rouge sith. We coordinated through imp alts and vent with imp players. They showed up and ambushed us. They were able to muster greater numbers. At one point I was looking forward to where the numbers were even, and I hear the decloaking sound, turn around and 10 more imps had shown up, I just went "holy ****!" It was pretty bad for us, the main jedi guy got his lightsaber taken away, and another of our group was taken hostage. It was actually pretty fun. Of course join a guild, and a lot of guilds have ongoing plots.

Hell, I'm having way too much fun. If I knew exactly what I was going to be doing in 6 months, I would resub for that much too. But since I don't know that far ahead, I'll be doing it month by month. I'm really enjoying the IA and the BH stories

I understand why they put restrictions on trial accounts, no trade no whispering, all those things. But i just ran into a problem running black talon with a trial account player. Two ops and me, a inquisitor, were playing. One of the drops was a Black Talon Inquisitor Glove, which is obviously mine, right? The operative who had a free trial rolled a need as well for it, and won. They said they did it accidentally, they looked at the stats and saw they were all better, so they took it. I couldn't trade with them, since they are a trial account. Before everyone starts saying "thats the game", "deal with it", and all these things. I know this is no something I should really care about, but I just figured I'd bring it up, cause I got the boots and the robe, I wanted to try and complete the set with the gloves, just something for me. Unless my whole point is rendered moot because those drops are bind on pickup, which I can't remember if they are or not?

But it's true though. I have taken to calling Saturday "Drink till you lose consciousness" day. I'm going to play Saturday just to see how many people are playing drunk. I applaud you sir.

No. mainly because the people who are rich will start buying them with real money and will all have the gear, because they have the money.
