You guys know what he's referring to when he says "bonus series quests" right? they're not the normal quests and sometimes require a higher level to complete than the level of the main story quests on a planet. He's not wrong, you can out level a planet, yet come back and still have a bonus series you can do. He is however exaggerating about doing every quest. Although, that would be cool to be able to do so. You'd basically have the option of where you want to delegate your leveling process to.

Hi Dougie, Welcome back. When continuing your leveling, you'll notice that your skill tree is gone, replaced with a disciplines system. This sytem allows for much more clear understanding of each spec and a faster way to swap and try different specs. It's a great system, despite not allowing for hybrid specs. Skills no longer cost money to upgrade! When you go to upgrade your skills and unlock new skills, it no longer costs any money! This in combination with the new discipline spec system makes leveling much less confusing. Strongholds are here. Strongholds are housing systems where you place your decorations and furniture around rooms using a standard "hook" system as seen in other MMOs with housing. Level 60! The 12xp made it possible to only have to do Class story to level provided you had Guild bonus and you were running a Minor/Major Experience Boost from the CM. Otherwise, you'd be a little behind. However - it wasn't by much at all. And now imagine 12xp weekend going 1-60, by the time you hit the Forged Alliances story flashpoints, you're flying through.

You should be worrying about what your guild mates would feel about what you did versus worrying about having to maintain the guilds "status quo" of exploiting to keep pace. Thats an awful place to be in.

That is the best approach and good on you for taking that middle road. They need to learn to spot these weird peple, or even people that are just trolling. It's much safer to learn from inside a game than learn in real life. This is a huge life lesson that some parents try to avoid altogether or put off way too long. It's a fact that it is unavoidable, so having your child learn from a safer environment is key. This specific environment in SWTOR allows for multiple actions to handle someone they don't want to bother them. Block, report, turn off profanity, etc. I will say the game rating is there for a reason, though. I wouldn't let them play this game until their age matched the rating. Then I would do as ImmortalLowLife has done. Wow what a name of a sensible person. LOL

It is amusing to me that people would rather make the slot machines less useful than sending out companions. As though it's totally game breaking to stand at a slot machine while sending an army of companions is actually playing the game. I just continue using my 96 companions to gather me stuff while everyone tries to "balance" these slot machines.

This likely won't ever happen unless they have specific streams for specific countries/regions. It will never be convenient for everyone (which is the same issue of patches that Europeans always complain about). There is more flexibility with the streams, however, in that they could do unique streams just for Europeans if that is worth it (enough views).

I have stopped buying cartel coins since the whole slot machine nerf. I feel that they have no clue what they're doing and it's more of a waste of my money than before. But, an appearance tab would end up enticing me, yet again, to fork out real money. Even despite the slot machine debacle.

To be absolutely fair I'm not saying Merc doesn't have it's own troubles but Mara is definitely at a much higher disadvantage. The skill and luck required in picking engagements is really really high being a melee that cannot initiate from stealth. Playing my assassin is night and day. you can just laze around and pick whatever engagement is best. I'd actually be scared of any current good Mara deciding to roll Assassin. They would be so lethal.

As pessimestic as I've been lately about many of Biowares actions and decisions, this one change would really spark some fire in me. That's saying a lot as if you look at my history I've been pretty salt, bitter, and acidic. I have a lot of hope towards dungeon crawling for old gear. Hopefully it extends to weapons as well!

I may start going through old flashpoints just to start coming up with a unique outfit, in anticipation of this. I just don't want to go through the effort and it end up being nothing near what I imagined and my efforts were in vain.

I would hope it would not be limited to just CM gear. The reason being that more people will go back and play old content to uniquely gear up outfits based on items from old content. Some of the gear that drops in EV and old flashpoints is pretty cool.

You obviously do not have both a Mara and a Merc at 60. If you had both you'd know that the range on a Merc is much more beneficial than the short invisibility a Mara can have.

They don't have time for some overly complicated system. Will just be an extra "slot" to unlock via crafting like augment kits. It'll just be an appearance slot kit. The ability to place any kind of gear in an appearance slot is what will help sell more CM stuff. They won't look to make even more CM profit by directly tying outfit/appearance to CM.
