  1. It's all based on the player. Was in a Warzone the other day and a Sin on my team got 1.3mil protection. but it is "easier" to tank on PT and Jugg. If you're good, Sin has wicked damage as a tank and a lot of surivability if utilites are timed right. Jugg is easier to survive, PT is about as easy as Jugg but Jugg feels easier to put out the damage.
  2. I'd debate with you further, but it's not even worth debating about. I actually feel bad for crafters that waste their materials on Conquests.
  3. If I have to create a new account, manually enter all my information about characters, it isn't worth it. Bioware needs APIs like there are for Steam or provide something similar like Blizzard for Diablo 3 / World of Warcraft. If they had APIs that used swtor.com authentication and identificaiton, then your efforts with your site would be awesome.
  4. Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? You should have to PLAY to get points, not get points while AFK. Being able to "drop points" right when a conquest begins is one of the largest reasons why the whole thing is messed up. Crafting points messes the whole system up.
  5. Sometimes the grass isn't greener, it's just farther away.
  6. Great job to the solo conquestor. Really highlights the issues with Conquests. Hopefully Bioware sees this and realizes how silly Conquests are, if they don't already. The whole system is horrible and I hope they review improving it so it's not just an obvious material sink and actually something to do. I participated maybe 3 times until I saw it for what it was. Not worth.
  7. Yeah, I can see it now. Account #1 does the exploit. Account#2 puts stuff on GTN and Account#1 buys stuff on GTN from Account#2 at ridiculous prices to "funnel' the money through GTN purchases to Account#2. As this exploit is fixed there should be no issue talking about it now. Hopefully Bioware is reviewing the accounts that did the exploit and following the credit trail.
  8. I did the Ravagers Exploit and got a light slap on the wrist. I did it because I knew Bioware wouldn't punish people hard enough, and it was well worth the risk. I did it a LOT! I did NOT do the chair exploit because I want to have faith in Bioware this time that they actually punish hard. Bioware - you have to punish people hard if you want them to behave. It is truly important to the reputation of the game and keeping the community overall healthy and in line. Otherwise people like me will consider it worth the risk again and just "go for it" the next time around. I can just imagine right now the efforts of those buying chairs right now for credits. Trying to funnel it to alt accounts, buying stuff off the GTN to trade to others and sell that stuff later... all kinds of stuff to try to shift the credits out and mess with overall economy. Gotta come down hard to keep us in line.
  9. If this forum starts giving helpful advice, how is a terribad like me going to get easy kills?
  10. Yeah no one will get 200k, there is not enough comms rewards granted.
  11. I went from POT5 to The Ebon Hawk and haven't looked back. Server ruleset doesn't mean anything at this point to me.
  12. I will be highly impressed if someone maxes out 200k Wz comms before 3.3 on Live. Irregardless of that potential feat, THANK YOU SO MUCH for implementing this now!!!
  13. Two things killed PoT5 - the community and those transferring. The transfers were people wanting away from a lower populated server and also the acidic community on PoT5. PoT5 deserves to die.
  14. I moved from PoT5 to EH and it is so much better. There are really only a few choices right now.. Harbinger, Ebon Hawk, Jedi Covenant and Shadowlands. This is irregardless of server ruleset, just safe servers. All I know is I gladly traded the PvP ruleset for a PvE ruleset that meant I saw more people and did more.
  15. I dont have to reroll, I have every AC at 60. I just get on whatever you're QQ'ing about next and give you more to complain about, until everyone on the forums wants you to be quiet because all you're doing is complaining and not learning to play. Best counter is a good player.
  16. I have found that only two mob groups currently work at the following locations: X: -2065 Y: -70 Z: 27 X: -2093 Y: -54 Z: 36 Additionally, if you are in the vicinity of another player of any faction when they kill these mob groups, you get credit. It's still very bugged.
  17. I am getting this on my Jugg. Screenshot here shows the civilian as target, no possessed imperials alive and i hovered over a dead possessed imperial to have the ui window poup showing that the possessed imperial is dead. top right shows missions and i'm currently on dead center.. Annoying bug as this happened on the Assassin as well. http://i.imgur.com/XDZAFaN.jpg
  18. Still amazed that this thread went so long when there was a more official thread already on this topic.
  19. Yes, I feel it does hurt the significance. There has been a huge push by the community to dumb down rewards and gear, especially the outfit designer, making more and more items available regardless of class, level, weight restriction. This waters down the identity between classes and also the reward of obtaining bits of gear. IMO, it has to stop, and instead reverse course. Make it so it matters what you do, on the character you play on. Otherwise, people will just run FOTM classes through for rewards and then mule them to whatever character they'd like. Some of the titles that were rewarded involve specific classes. I think this was a great idea, you'd have to abandon it if you let it be a legacy title - as how silly would it be to see a trooper/vanguard title on a jedi guardian? Continue the path you're going on providing incentive for a specific class for a specific milestone, allow certain rewards to be legacy where it makes sense, but keep certain rewards limited (in this case specifically titles).

  21. In my opinion, these changes are as big as going away from the original RNG boxes that we used to get for Champion gear. These changes to the core of the reward and token system for PvP as a whole is huge and I greatly welcome it. I have 20 60's ready to partake in a lot more PvP, as I used to. Is there any ball park timeframe when these changes will begin to be released? Understandable if it's way too soon to throw that out there, but can't hurt to ask. Hopefully I didn't miss it in this thread.
  22. Are you sure it's not just the animation thats slow and not the hit it self?
