  1. Maybe this post will help you. There is no rested exp during double exp weekends.
  2. I am sorry, but you can't have both. If you enjoy going after rare items, that's okay, but then don't be upset if you're unlucky.
  3. The following isn't really a weird encounter, but still... I just queued for KDY for the first time. No one said hi in the beginning, everyone just kept going. Oh well, at least we had two healers (I know that technically none are necessary, but my character is only level 15 (so he still lacks important skills) and I didn't really have much time to explore the area.) Everything went fine until the last boss encounter. One of the healers asked whether everyone knew the boss. I and the other healer replied: no, but the other DPS jumped straight into the fight. The first healer stated: then don't just jump in! I said: Well, those who said no, didn't. He replied with whatever, it's your repair bill. That was a bit rude, considering we weren't at fault, yet I could understand his frustration. Anyway, before the DPS initiated the fight the healer had pointed out the grenades. While I soon figured out what he meant by that (or at least I think I did), I assumed only one had to activate the console and step into the circle... because while the grenades kept knocking me down, the instance bug prevented me from noticing my health dropping down (I didn't die after the initial death because the healer kept activating the group heal objects). I must have looked like an idiot not figuring out to step into the circle. Damn bug Anyway, I would have prefered being able to explore the instance all by myself, but I couldn't be bothered to use my level 55 characters as there is nothing to be gained for them in a tactical fp. Why can't I manually enter below level 55?
  4. Great, so I should have enough time to grind some more credits.
  5. I intent to level my Scoundrel to level 47. If I have enough time (which I doubt) I'll try to bring my Commando and Gunslinger to level 47 as well.
  6. Yeah, just checked the main cartel market page... Just two days ago I purchased the Cathar Warstaff... oh well
  7. I spend most of my coins on account unlocks. However, I have to agree, unlocking all of the cargo bays and inventory slots and the Rocket Boost is useful. I bought that one recently when it was discounted and I have no issues with the jump animation (maybe I just don't pay enough attention, though). I don't regret buying it in any case.
  8. Gameplay: Juggernaut, Guardian, Operative, Powertech, Sorcerer, Sage. Story: Warrior (my favorite storyline), Agent, Smuggler, Trooper, Consular.
  9. Don't forget Diplomacy, you can use this crew skill to gain LS or DS points.
  10. I think some of the shells are quite nice (so please don't remove the gear >.<). Personally, I rarely use the mods themselves, though.
  11. I only really value the characters on my main account because that one got many account unlocks. I create most of my characters with a (non-SW related frankly) backstory in mind and a personality. I love creating male characters (I'm female) so most of those are male. I also create one of each AC and a female/male version of each class. The remaining slots are filled with characters I still have in mind with the focus on classes I enjoy playing most. I have two male Sith juggernauts for instance because I love the class, it fits them most and I want to have a sith and a human one (also, the voice). I also have a female one because I like the look and the class is fun to play (also the story is my favorite one). I play most of them quite regularly. Only the ACs I don't like as much stand on the fleet most of the time (sniper, marauder atm). As I do not enjoy endgame (not big into PvP, did some operations while I was still in a guild but that wasn't my cup of tea) I mostly do dailies and some occasional flash points. My second account is filled with classes I enjoy playing and characters playing versions of class stories none of my main characters do (DS Jedi knight for example) and some races that I don't have on the other account (Rattataki). I don't care as much for those because I don't want to afford getting all the more expensive clothes a second time. Sometimes I delete some of my characters because I'm not as fond of them anymore which sucks. All the effort for nothing, so I'm planning to create some more toons on a different server. From time to time I consider reducing the amount of characters I play, but there are classes I want to play and characters I don't want to let go of. And to be completely honest here, I created my second account for dual boxing purposes because I dislike playing with strangers and I like to challenge myself by finishing flashpoints and h4s with both of them (whether it's an actual challenge people might argue, nevertheless I'm having fun doing that). Just to give some insight in the way I think. And yeah, what DaShuk said. Chiss snuggler and pureblood knight are quite fun I just can't limit myself on fewer characters.
  12. No, half of my characters are max level, but as I said alts are expensive and I don't always want to do dailies (they burn me out quite quickly). There are lots of other things I still need to buy. Also, atm I don't even have the time to run dailies. I don't have problems making money, it's a matter of priorities. So, to me it's worth the 2,400 cc (even though as I said they are a bit expensive) compared to the other options (would be a different story if varactyls were as cheap on my server as they seem to be on others). No offense intended but all those misunderstandings arose because you didn't read properly and assumed things. (For example I stated it was for my other account, not character and I never said that I have a separate account just for alts) And yes, it's my choice.
  13. I do. What's the point? How does this affect you? I think you're missing the point. I have it unlocked via collections for all 22 characters on my main account. However, I do have a second account which doesn't have a Varactyl so I'm thinking about buying it.
  14. Because different accounts don't share collections.
  15. actually, I've never really thought about this. I checked yesterday and I don't think my characters' breasts are too large (body type 1). I wouldn't mind a slider, though.
  16. The prices for Varactyls are way higher than 2 million on my server. I usually see them listed between 4 and 7 million credits. When the first Varactyl was released I bought one of them off the GTN, so there is no reason for me to purchase another one that is almost identical. However, I may consider buying it for my other account as I'm really fond of Varactyl mounts. My primary income comes from running dailies and selling purple underworld metals on the gtn and atm I don't have the spare money to buy another one off the gtn (alts are expensive). I like having the chance to buy it off the cartel market without having to purchase gambling packs. Though, I do agree that it's a bit expensive. It's just a reskin and more expensive than the speeders. Still, it's cheaper than the tauntaun. As for the weapon: personally, I think it's ugly, but if other people like it who am I to judge.
  17. Some people actually enjoy having more than one character of the same AC. Personally, I have 3 Juggernauts because I love the class and the story and because Juggernaut fits my perception of their personalities and story most. I also have two Sorcerers because I love the class (though not neccessarily the story) and because the class fits them most. There perhaps is no easy explanation to why some people enjoy creating a lot of toons (and actually playing them), but it's a valid play style. While I do agree that 22 character slots are already fairly generous, I would welcome the possibility to purchase more. After all, the legacy system encourages the creation of alts on a single server.
  18. I agree, I'm really enjoying myself throwing snowballs at enemies in flash points. I actually prefer such minor events because I don't feel rushed to do the same quests over and over again to grind reputation or currency before the event ends.
  19. It's not like there are additional maintenances every week. Also, those additional maintenances don't take too much time and the patches are generally rather small. It's not so bad in my opinion. If it's necessary to have one...
  20. I'm really glad they're back, I want to get two outfits and one colour crystal. Time for some dailies...
  21. I agree with the exhausting part. I actually enjoy belsavis impside. That's the planet I always quest completely (kind of need to because I tend to skip Hoth).
  22. I agree. Just make one of the gifts she likes love or favorite.
  23. As a DPS shadow you may want to replace the shield with a focus and the endurance crystal with a power crystal. You can purchase a moddable focus from the nar shaddaa commendations equipment vendor at level 21 or 23, can't remember which exactly. Can't comment on rotations as I play tank shadow.
  24. I appreciate your advice, I really do. I know it was harsh on the healer and the dps. However, I will not make anyone chose between me and someone else. I would never feel comfortable with this and I am not confident enough to do so. I rather lose time than to tank the boss for him. (but frankly, they should have been able to finish the FP without me, the boss isn't so hard). Anyway, I don't pug anymore, because every time there is someone who makes me want to leave, so you don't have to worry about me walking out on people on a regular basis. I don't go well with random people and I'm aware of that. He's weird, nevertheless, because there's no need to insult someone because your proc ran out,
  25. I don't initiate vote kicks unless I am certain it will be successful. I am quite sure this one wouldn't have been successful because no group wants a drama before engaging the final boss and no one spoke up. I won't stay in a group with someone who insults me or someone else for no good reason.
