  1. Seems unlikely after they move the others to ToFN already. Active players is something they do (or should atleast) before deciding who goes where, using assumptions (like 90% transfers) and spreadsheets. What I do wonder is who stays behind on those origin servers ? And what do you do with them? But that's offtopic for this topic.
  2. The problem is: If they're not considering to make us a second PvP server (aka second generation low pop server). Then why the wait and need to monitor ? Hence my post: We would like not to be forgotten and just be transferred to the MEGA server.

I agree that they seem to have not thought the transfers through: (EU PvP perspective, Legions of Lettow, Bassilisk Droid, Bloodworthy - LoL server) First you allow 99% to transfer to the most populated servers (Clearly a "Fanservice"): Then you realise those few somewhat healthy servers would probably be a bit too much to transfer there too. Now you have 1 MEGA server, and few healthy sized ones. You can merge those few healthy ones, but they'll never be the MEGA server. As a result people will leave the second server to join the MEGA server. First go the unguilded/casual players. Following them are the PvPers (queues) and lastly the Raiders (Guilds too small). You now have shifted your problem from the low populated ones to the second healthiest servers. Not to mention new players will also start on the higher populated server. Bad gameplan, bad gameplan... That's like expecting the dutchies to beat the germans at football... impossibru. All BW can do now is force the remaining few %'s to the higher population server or lose (again) subs just due to other player activity (network effect in economic terms). Which causes the BIG concern in the players of these servers: Why haven't they then allowed this yet ? Why do they need to monitor ? Unless they're actually considering to make a second server. If they're seriously considering making a second grade server with the remaining servers = they've just become the new 'low' populated servers

Exactly what I'm afraid of aswell playing on Legions of Lettow (one of the healthier EU (EN) PvP servers) If they keep to filling Tomb then I don't see how Legions of Lettow will remain healthy: Instead of the empty servers rerolling, you'll see the healthier servers rerolling on the "MEGA" Server The way I see it, they're just pleasing customers: People on the low populated servers want to reroll on the heaviest server in the same class (PvE/PvP/RP), so they allow those ppl to transfer their mains there instead of having to reroll. Not taking into account any other effects this may have. If they're starting the first MEGA server, then they should've created a new one and let server for server transfer there.
  6. And the fact that they're giving their opinion so bluntly can be quite annoying. But it gets attention, so it works. It's a nice way to get up to speed with various things though, without having to scourge through all the different threads/articles/... Our guild is also having less activity due to other games, summer, content, ... The thing that hurts the most is due to the thin spreading of the servers is that the suction effect is more present. I hope their information about GIANT servers is true, and hope the community can help in steer ppl to the right transfers: For example per server legible for transfer to another server to gather information about which guilds move = Avoids the doubt ppl might have in their minds thinking to move from a 'medium' server. (I know for a fact that I would have doubts if Legions of Lettow is legible for transfers)
  7. Got 600k as 32/7/2 yesterday. This is however: - in a 4 man guild-premade - Main Tank of said guild guarding me - on void star - using alot of aoe-healing Healing in a PUG vs decent players, 300k is still possible but premading as a sorc healer is the way to go for the moment.
  8. According to the theorycrafting at mmo-mechanics 1/12/28 gives the highest (slightly) dps over the other specs. As far as I can tell it plays the same as 13/28 pre-patch, just without the CL. Now this is only simulations from certain ppl, and using deduced models (might not be the exact ones BW uses). So it's not THE truth, it's merely one I'd say go try it out on the dummy's in ziost's bridge deck (making sure you get some training with each and few runs)
  9. The number of ppl in my guild that respec for pvp to be even remotely viable is low. That there are specs that are better for pvp because they have option x or y is normal, that's been the case before 1.2 for sorcs as wel. We're trying to figure out what doesn't just get blown out when looked at here. If you're not contributing, go somewhere else
  10. haha signature ^^ The corruption/lightning appears, to me, the most interesting: static barrier blinding, overload snaring It's just that these aren't as ideal to PvE in, meaning we have to devote to either one then.
  11. Baby PvP: lack of expertise lack of experience in classes most just play for the daily I'm sorry, although you might like baby pvp and play it alot. It's just not representative for endgame pvp. ² last night there was a spot in our prime-pvp team however they picked somebody else to fill the spot
  12. Full BM gear (except boots) here. And I'm not one to cry wolf too soon. (pre-patch i was also very skeptical of all the QQing) I'm getting so frustrated healing at the moment in PvP. I'm 32/7/2 specced, and while I can heal fine if left alone (PvE sorta situation). I cannot save ppl with burst healing (Can live with that, just saving less ppl). But whenever a marauder/sentinel and even assassin/shadows jump me now, I'm screwed. My innervate gets interrupted, my DI gets interrupted with its long 2.4s cast... The only heal I might get off is a dark heal and a ressurgence (instant). Not only is the marauder/sentinel buff & sorc/sage nerf hurting me. The expertise buff to dmg is another big slap in the face. I'm getting 2x 3.5k crits from marauders/assassins while the only heal i can get off hits me for 2.5 (One occasion i recall from yesterday evening). My operative friend, in full BM and also healer : is overjoyed, he can tank 2-3 ppl now and still not die... I get in a panic whenever somebody jumps me now. Running to use LOS and heal is helpfull occasionally(!), but you can not contribute to the team that way. I understand we shouldn't be able to just stand and heal, but this is just not funny anymore.
  13. From their discription of it, they're drops u get when : 1) lvling 2) flashpointing 3) Operations ? Haven't gotten my hand on any yet tho, and haven't seen any drop. But then haven't been doing any of above yet sinde thursday.
