  1. I think probably the silliest thing they did was the way they let you learn campaign level mods and armorings. Firstly you HAVE to actually get a campaign piece and extract the mods for a 20% chance to learn it. Its not even guaranteed to learn, it destroys the mod and you sure as heck aren't going to do that on your first campaign piece, which means it'll only come on your 2nd or later pieces, and not being guaranteed means it could take forever just to learn a mod for something you already have the equivalent of since you would have the mod via your first campaign piece.
  2. I had no trouble getting this running 10+ missions yesterday. Almost all of them came back with neutronium.
  3. I guess you weren't around during the massive crying by raiders when they thought every daily gave black hole comms (turns out they were all drama queens and over-reacted since it was only a weekly that gave it, amusingly enough. I am still extremely amused by it.)
  4. That is because the ship droid sensor for armormech is NOT +crit, it is +10 Efficiency, i.e. it is of absolutely no use when it comes to increased crit chance. Now, your +5 guy? I think that's tanno, and his is +5 crit, not efficiency, so yes he WILL be better than your ship droid at critting. You've basically just wasted money getting that sensor if your intention was to get armormech crit.
  5. I played the beta weekend last week. GW2's crafting system is worse than ToR's as far as I can tell.
  6. I have more iron than I can use at present, actually. Been contemplating selling them instead of letting them pile up in my bank being useless.
  7. A post on the sithwarrior forums has a poster say that implants can be REed by biochems, then crit crafted for an augmented black hole implant. http://mmo-mechanics.com/swtor/forums/Thread-Annihilation-Watchmen-Discussion?pid=20728#pid20728 That has so far been the only confirmation I have seen of black hole stuff being REable for schematics.
  8. My server has a pretty small population and not a very hardcore population - augmented oranges don't sell that easily. Most people are still wearing their columi/rakata/battlemaster sets that cannot be augmented. I guess despite all the claims of people wanting to "choose" their look, everyone still wants to feel "elite" wearing their tier gear. Even if its a crappy looking set like the consular one.
  9. Can these crit on crafting to give an augment slot now?
  10. The only thing you really need credits for at 50 are the rank 3 speeder piloting skill, the rank 3 speeders and for your repair bills. If you don't raid very much, you probably won't have to worry about repair bills all that much, and the rank 3 speeders aren't all that much faster (however a rank 3 speeder will be less vulnerable to "knock-offs" by enemy mobs) If you intend to PvP a lot however, I hear you're going to need biochem for that, personally I don't PvP much however so I can't really give you a good answer to that.
  11. I had a purple crystal on my artificer whom I clicked on the RE button and moused over, but it didn't say I could learn anything from it. I did not actually RE it to test if I could actually learn something, however.
  12. The sticky on top of the forum tells you how, but that was pre 1.2, I'm not sure if it still works post 1.2
  13. No, +10 efficiency just means she makes them faster. It is COMPLETELY useless at endgame, because seriously, who cares how fast your companion finishes crafting by then.
  14. You cannot RE pre 1.2 augments with the professions that make those augs now. All pre-1.2 augments are not REable. (artifice might still be able to RE them, I'm not sure about this).
  15. Damn, I can't summon my entire party to the priest to get revived now. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  16. The sticky on top of this forum has a list of all crafting bonuses for all companions. Off the top of my head I recall the jedi knight has +5 crit scythweaving and +5 crit biochem, the trooper has +5 crit armormech and the smuggler has +5 crit armstech
  17. You get the aspiring knight vest schematic from rank 1 UT missions. The drop rate is rather abysmal however, from what I've found.
  18. Rich grade 6 underworld trading metal and fabric missions are mislabled. They are actually moderate missions, so yes, they only give 2. This has been known for quite a while.
  19. If you don't mind spending a tiny amount of credits, you can just run one starter space mission, then quit it immediately after loading. Its faster than logging on and off or zoning in and out of your ship for me.
  20. And that's just too bad now, isn't it? At any rate, no point arguing over it anymore, I've grown numb to it already after sending rusk out on countless missions.
  21. I forgot to mention, but the gift that comes with the mission also becomes purple instead of blue on a crit.
  22. Yes, they can crit, but for treasure hunting and underworld trading at least, they only give 1 extra purple mat and 2 extra blue mats (so instead of 4 corusa gems you get 5).
  23. No need to get so worked up, geeze. I swear, fans of any series on forums just seem to wait on forums for people to jump on and scream at them.
  24. I'm female and was slightly annoyed by it initially, but now I assume its just too much trouble (or costs too much) just to have the VAs say those extra lines for female characters.
  25. Black hole dailies give daily comms, not black hole comms, but there is a weekly that gives 6 black hole comms, that is the ONLY source of black hole comms that is non raid. So.....not sure why raiders are kicking up a fuss, it'll take 6 weeks to get ONE piece of black hole gear (and that's the cheapest one, the implant). It'll take ages for you to get the full set of gear via weekly, which by then a new tier would be out.
