Yeh that's what's happening for me too. Yeh read that but turning it to 0 had no effect... I guess because there's no grass where I am in Zakuul anyway lol

Also seems like I got a fairly heavy performance hit with 4.1a... Noticable framerate drop... Really hope this is temporary

Having similar issues. Launcher takes forever to get from login to the play screen ("Initializing") then nothing after pressing Play. No issues prior to patch 4.1a Downloading the setup file and reinstalling without removing any directories seems to be working for now however it has left me with the old style launcher so not sure what issues that will cause. Other steps I tried which did not work: - Turning on and off compatibility mode - Deleting Bitraider folder - Deleting Swtor.exe

Hey all, I recently hit 65 with my Assassin and decided I should upgrade from my quest gear. I was able to buy a full set of Stalker PVP gear and was about to spend common data crystals on a set of PVE gear from the feet vendor but is it really worth it? Is my PVP gear enough to get me through FP's and SM ops until I've picked up a full set of gear from them? Thanks in advance!

Yep - I'm using it now. That said, unleased doesnt seem to be working as well as it used to for some reason maybe it just needs updating given all the new patches

Same issue here: Alienware m14x R2 Intel i7 3720 Nvidia 650M 60fps on fleet but 15 on cz-198....

Nope - I transferred level 1 toons to each server and their legacies all transferred with them giving me an account wide legacy level of 30. If u have a spare character slot u can even just make a toon on ur origin server, login, then transfer him to destination realm to get ur legacy over there. Can also rinse and repeat the above for multiple servers if u think u might play on them some time - may aswell while its free

Even if u just transfer one character over you get your complete legacy levels, perks etc on that server - hence why i transferred low level alts to a few servers

I use HMA VPN service because i also need a secure connection for other uses. Given that, there are porobably better services out there for (specialised for gaming) but i've found the San Francisco (S5) HMA server works best for me which would make sense given its proximity to redwood city

So seeing as how my ping is literally 10 times worse on harbringer, has anyone found an effective tunneling service for swtor? tried a few but they had no effect or made it worse...

This nails it. PING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN POPULATION. And i'm sorry but I don't see how merging all 3 wouldn't give us a satisfactory population... no it wouldn't be the highest population server but it would be more than sufficient for most... and transfers for those who disagree or don't like the playstyle. I'm sure you people know this so lets be honest - we are not worth the money for the local servers. Correct? One key thing you guys need to understand is that for APAC players, the low latency is probably one of (if not the) biggest drawcard SWTOR has over WoW, GW2 etc etc. Without it you lose a huge advantage over your competitors. I hope that there is a chance that you people will reconsider but i know this probably wont happen. A dark day for APAC and SWTOR... Oh and i forgot to mention... as a bonus we get to lose all our names! Seriously not one of mine is available on Harbringer. Yeh **** this noise - im heading back to wow if this goes ahead

Because in order for the APAC population to survive there needs to be a consolidated decision on where to go. Allowing transfers right off the bat without a merger will just split the community every which way as many people would not be willing to take a risk and try consilidating on a single server and instead head off to US/EU. By merging then allowing transfers, people have the opportunity to see what the population and the community is like before jumping off to US servers

Had to read this 3 times to make sure it said what i thought. Finally! Now just got to hope they decided to go with a big merger with rp channel/phases for rp'ers, permanent pvp flagging for pvp'ers, free transfers to the apac server from US/EU and transfers out of apac after a month or so... I think maybe my expectations are a little high And please for the love of God do not say "yeah after several months we have decided to... wait until after 2.0" or yeh i'm jumping on that 747 with my pitchfork
