  1. if you like the columi stats better, than why not switch the mods with the rakata ones? Great thing about mods in this game...you can CHOOSE which ones to use.
  2. Really what i read from this thread is....why is there no Team deathmatch WZ??? Obviously its what most players want to do anyway =p
  3. This. All this math is assuming 1vs1 scenarios. If they iever had 4v4-8v8 arena or deathmatch WZ any team sporting pure Rakata vs a team with pure BM would get wrecked. Damage mitigation is king in team play. It makes it so much easier on healers to keep you alive when you have a constant 12% dmg reduction stat on you than someone who has just 2k more hp but zero dmg reduction. You would get spiked damage so fast your healers wouldn't know how to save you.
  4. Ya but i see a positive from the Medals. Player participation in the matches. Sure they aren't always doing whats BEST for your team to win, but attacking anyone or healing anyone is better than a bunch of afkers in the match. I only have ever seen 1 or 2 afkers ever in this game. WoW had no medals, same rewards for whole team no matter the participation, and you had tons of people who sat there and didn't bother doing anything but finding a nice hidden corner of the map to jump up and down in.
  5. BM gear is the best gear for PvP. Now thats not to say you should leave the 2 removeable mods in there. A lot of them i will be replacing with champion mods, but the armor mod that cannot be removed is better than the champion ones. So you mix a couple champ modifications into the BM gear and ta da it rocks. As for anyone saying PvE gear is better...you keep believing that. And i will enjoy destroying you in my full PvP set. Damage reduction > Hitpoints by far.

  7. well i guess i should of said "enhancement" but yes, my pvp gear is capped on surge. And i don't care for accuracy, so i was hoping to replace some power/accuracy enhancements with power/crit ones if they existed. But i guess there is not any.

  9. Must be your weapons/gear. I have never seen merc hit for 800. But it does have a wide range of what it can hit for. Depending on the targets armor and if it crits or not it can hit as weak as 1,800 for me or hit as hard as 5,000 damage for me. Thats in pvp anyways, i have no idea what it does in PvE. Maybe your targets are just way higher armor than any player.

  11. I win almost all 1vs1s. The ones i have a hard time beating are the hybrid ops/scoundrels that have a decent amount of healing but still do decent damage. They just HoT themselves, damage me, then if they get low, use 1 of their 4 CCs to get away, heal and slowly wither me down. Then the other 1v1 i have lost is 1 very specific Power Tech on myserver. I kill all vanguards/power techs 1v1 except 1 guy who can hit harder than any i have ever seen. I beat him 1v1 with all my CDs and i lived at 5% hp. But if i have 1 CD not up, he will obliterate me as i need ALL of them to stall his dps and use bleeds for heals.

  13. This... Ya a mara/sent can win a 2vs1 or with a healer win a 4vs2. But so can any other class assuming the guy is a good player and his opponents are not. I have won quite a few 2vs1s but thats against baddies. good players of any class can make a fight close, and if im fighting 2 of them they will make sure im CCd when my high defense abilities are up. and make sure i die without getting either of them close to death.
  14. lol so much fail in this thread. Rakata mods in BM gear? The only difference between the gear is the 1 mod you can't take out, the other 2 mods match the respective slot for each other. Really for my class anyways its pulling a few champ mods out and putting them in BM gear. As for PvE vs PvP gear...yes please keep telling yourself that the PvE gear is just as good or better than PvP gear. I enjoy seeing someone in full columi/rakata or mixing it with champ/BM. I love to see the big number hits i get on them and enjoy watching their health just drop.
  15. if inspiration stacks, why are people not just running 4 man sentinel premades? 60% damage buff for 15 seconds sounds pretty godly followed shortly by 4 of them all healing eachother with zen.

  17. only 1-6 and X, R, C, F are keybinds i use with my left hand. every other ability i click with my mouse using my right hand. You mad i'm a half clicker and i will still own you 1vs1? Ya you mad
  18. this... i have the datacrons already...i want a few pieces of BM gear. I don't care about the armor, but the weapons are an upgrade for my sentinel so im hoping to at least get 6 tokens. Yet going 2 of 40ish bags is quite frustrating.
  19. I'm fine if they dont add a new gear grind. As i don't need to gear to make my advantage over unskilled players even bigger. Though i would like some vanity stuff. Like cool looking empty orange armor/weapons that can be modded when they fix the ability to take the armor/weapon mods out of the end game gear.

  21. This... how is a 15% dmg/heal increase buff, group HoT heal with anni bleeds, high damage, and the only heal debuff in the game make us the bottom choice for a 4vs4 or even 8vs8?
  22. Does anyone know if Inspiration actually stacks? I know it shows 2 icons on the buff bar when 2 are cast, but has anyone tested to actually see if they are getting a 30% increase in damage/heals over just 15%? And also does anyone know if the heal debuff from crippling throw can be stacked or not?
  23. assassins/shadows are tough as mentioned by others. Though i have an impossible time killing the hybrid ops/smugglers who are half dps half heals. they just dink my health down while their hots keep them up, and if i get any burst on them, they seem to have like 4 different CCs to hit me with to kite, heal, then come hit me more. And then there was 1 power tech BH (dps specced im assuming) and i dont even know what abilities they have, usually i beat most fairly easily. But this 1 in particular made me blow every cooldown i had and he got me to 5% hp when i killed him.
  24. on my sentinel i have a 4 sec vanish that i sometimes use to escape my opponents. And i swear getting out of combat takes like 30-40 seconds. i get away completely from the battle, unselect any target and just strafing back and forth in a corner waiting for it to let me out of combat and it just takes forever. I feel like if escaping the fight and getting out of combat takes longer than just letting yourself die and hit a 4 bar respawn door...then it takes too long to get out of combat in this game.
  25. I love my sentinel no doubt. But its hard to say if they are indeed the most powerful class in the game. I mean i beat most people i face, but i consider myself pretty good. But really good Ops are a tough fight, as are assassins, dps sorcs, and the dps power techs. Good players of those classes have all killed me, and i have killed them but i dont know if my gear is better or theres, or if they had all their CDs available when i fought them. Overall though a good player of any class can make it seem OP when 90% of the players aren't that good.
