  1. During the fight with Arcann, his buff states that his power comes from a lifetime of training with both the knights of zakuul and the scions. I'm sure Valkorion's guidance factored into it, but those were cited as his biggest benefactors.
  2. Pre 4.0 "romance" with her was just flirting. It continues in 4.0 if you romanced her before, but you don't commit exclusively to her until chapter 9. That's when the game considers the romance to begin after all of the flirting. It prompts you just to make sure you know that it is a point of no return, choosing the dialogue will commit to her romance.
  3. No, it functions like DAI, where once you commit to the romance you can't initiate one with anyone else. Up until that point, you could flirt with anyone. Once you've confirmed, the game recognizes only that particular romance and you will lose romance dialogue options with other characters. It has the potential to create conflict only with the pre 4.0 characters if you've cheated on them with either Theron or Lana.
  4. They have a mutual respect for each other, it's seen during SoR. He even gives her a respectful bow the first time he sees her. Marr is one of the few honorable sith.
  5. She isn't bugged, there's no need for her to send a letter because she rescues you. As far as I'm aware, the flirt dialogue is different if you "romanced" her prior to the expansion. It never really went anywhere in SOR, it officially begins in KoTFE at the end of Chapter 9. The romance prior to that during KoTFE's other chapters certainly implies a continuity from before, as I doubt she'd be making out with the main character twice otherwise. (before meeting heskel in chpt. 9, and after being stabbed by arcann later that same chapter.)
  6. Sure, Marr saw his own death. Supposedly down to the last detail. But one of the things Valkorion keeps reminding the player, especially when it comes to the scions, is that they aren't bound by fate. This is perfectly illustrated with Marr meeting his end before he expected to.
  7. Here, this guy has the footage you are looking for.
  8. Lana shows up only if you're romancing her. If she's being romanced and arcann stabs you, she arrives and you get a romance scene. If you aren't romancing her it will be koth, whether you refuse valkorion or not.
  9. Because you can easily see copy/paste plotlines and characters. Senya: Samara Koth: Cortez Lana: Liara Valkorion: The Anchor Then there's the sequel treatment: Attack happens in prologue, large amount of time passes before gaining consciousness. Old team left you, have to recruit new team. I just described Mass Effect 2, and KOTFE right there.
  10. Annoying cardboard cutout pilot - ME3. Hell, he even looks and sounds like the ME3 shuttle pilot. (Koth/Cortez) Unbearable plot armor - ME trilogy. (Lana/Liara) There is so much more I could add to that list, but it'd take too long.
  11. Nothing more annoying than someone that hates their country in order to be edgy and cool, all under the pretense of enlightenment.
  12. The alliance content, which functions as side quests, uses the classic KOTOR conversation method. This isn't the main story, that's still fully voiced. This was just a homage to the original 2 games in optional content.
  13. I was on Dagobah today where you find the water with Lana and there were literally 8-10 of them all piled up around the convo starter. All that was missing was the "one of us" chants. Get it together Bioware. Watch them fix this in the future, and then parade it like it's some awesome feature ala DAI team when they rectified that mistake in their latest title after removing it in the second game.
  14. The only reason this patch was deployed was so they can make money off of the free level 60 purchases. There were hardly if any bugs in KOTFE, I played through it twice so far.
  15. Lets try this again: The KOTOR series no longer takes place in the same continuity as the films.
  16. 1. I never let anchors weight me down in PVP. 2. I don't pvp anymore, so if that were to bother me it wouldn't anymore. 3. Premades are overrated. It's all in your head. Why? Because I call out hypocrisy? Perish the thought.
  17. KOTOR is no longer in the movie timeline. Bioware confirmed this a while ago, so we don't know what happens in the future.
  18. You can't. None of the old companions return, even the terminal that summons them unofficially doesn't work from what I've heard.
  19. LOL PVErs, They're fine when you're forced to participate in mundane flashpoints or operations to experience a story. (Dread Master plot anyone?) But cry the moment you have to do a few warzones for a completely optional side story. The tears are delicious.
  20. So long as it stays confined to the OPTIONAL ALLIANCE system, I couldn't care less. But if that crap starts to creep into the main story and companions....
  21. This forum needs a like system like the official Bio forums. Well said.
  22. It wasn't even much of a cliffhanger to be honest.
  23. The maintenance will always inconvenience someone. Again, get used to it or find an mmo that isn't produced by a NA company.
  24. LMAO. It is your internet, I downloaded the battlefront beta in a mere 8 minutes. You might want to consider upgrading there, if it took you a couple of hours for that download.
