  1. I wouldn't say vessel, more like a replacement for emperor. He said in Chapter 2 that he no longer requires a physical body, and that he was finally free from one. He promises you the throne essentially if you kneel to him.
  2. Marr's face is supposed to resemble Sion's from what I understand. This is most likely a default head since they have to have something there.
  3. Prequel council would stomp dark council, though swtor jedi council would get stomped.
  4. Which romance? I was able to continue the one with Lana, and then officially commit in chapter 9.
  5. Arcann was hit with the same lightning that marr was. Difference is that he is much stronger. You throw him off the balcony and he still survives.
  6. I wasn't a bastard at all and he did that. The guy is just a whining valkorion fan girl. I hope we get to dispose of him in a future chapter. Plus Senya said that if he betrayed once, he'll do it again.
  7. Maybe it has something to do with kneeling to him then. Cause you only accepted once when kneeling, and he still overrides your choice on the third. I accepted once without kneeling, and was able to refuse him both times after that. Really interesting.
  8. Bioware RPGs as of late have been interactive movies. I don't mind it.
  9. I would figure the warrior and knight tied. One is the emperors wrath, the other is the one who killed his former host.
  10. The non force users can land hits on Arcann twice: Once in the face, another in the shoulder. Force users on the other hand fight like drunks wielding a saber for the first time, and don't land any hits at all. Looks like non force user > force user isn't only in gameplay, eh Bioware?
  11. Eh... you need cinematics for storytelling. It's no different from Bioware's other RPGs now, Dragon Age and Mass Effect.
  12. There are 7 more chapters left, and 12 months in a year. They plan to begin the monthly chapters in January, which means by July we will be done with season 1. I remember them saying somewhere that season 2 won't be until at least next December. In all honesty, it does feel like they're dragging it on. It'd be like taking DAI, and splitting the missions up and handing them out over the course of 2 years. I expect people will eventually get tired of getting piecemeal story content. They should have just released all of season 1 at once, or the entire expansion for that matter.
  13. Not strictly on topic, but are you on the Bioware forums? I feel like I've seen that name from there.
  14. Satele was wearing a retextured heavy variant of the KoTOR 2 robes. It stands to reason that they may be added in the game at a later date.
  15. You can't do KoTFE until 60 anyways. And all you need is one, use a legacy weapon to transfer the crystal across characters.
  16. I noticed a lack of cartel market items on my server this week. Normally there are plenty, but it seems like not many people bought the new packs. Bioware will get the hint, eventually.
  17. Don't mention it. All of this would be avoided if there were some sort of save/reload feature when it comes to story lines.
  18. Contrary to what you may think, the vocal minority on this forum aren't representative of the entire playerbase. Many people came to this game expecting a sequel to Kotor 1 and 2. Until KoTFE, we haven't had a proper follow up.
  19. A few months away? LOL that game is a year or two past it's original deadline. I wouldn't hold my breath on that, it's undoubtedly going to fail anyways given the turmoil and scandals that have plagued that company.
  20. I've only gone through KoTFE with two characters, and I can already see where the choices do matter. There are many different things that change between characters, or certain elements in the plot based on what you do. If you are making different choices on multiple characters, you will see the differences. Unless you have memory loss. That's correct. I've done two playthroughs thus far, and only the one where I romanced her did she show up.
  21. I think he was, as far as we know none of them have achieved immortality. Though Arcann does mention after the last fight that Valkorion's power felt weaker.
  22. Really? Now that's interesting. I only accepted his power in the swamps, but refused it the last two times. I'll be sure not to accept in the future if he can really ignore your decision like that. Does anyone happen to have a video of that?
  23. He mentions himself that Ziost caused him to evolve. He's beyond the teachings of the sith and jedi, he seems to be right down the middle which is pretty balanced. Most of what Valkorion says in the game is logical. I know they have their morality system built in the game, but painting every agreeable action with Valkorion as dark side seems to be a disservice. He doesn't subscribe to what he considers antiquated teachings of the sith, and even disapproves if you claim you want to kill all Jedi. I think he's legitimately changed. He's trying to help you, and always asks before giving you his power rather than attempting to take control by force. His society on Zakuul is the ideal society. Having him turn out to be the bad guy still is sort of cliche, it'd be something you would expect. Which is why I believe Bioware has really had him evolve, and he will surprise people by actually being as sincere as he claims to be in wanting to help you. He seems to want you to leave behind the jedi and sith because they are failures in terms of leadership, and rule Zakuul. His biggest problem with his children is their lack of discipline and restraint. He says they are abusing their power, which displeases him. Doesn't seem sinister to me.
