I should have the choice. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Developers have claimed to try & listen to their customers & try to give them what they want within reason. Out of all of the countless/endless forum posts about the ship droid companions having a main hand one might think that at least 1 person might want to fully build their companions up. I would like for the developers to try doing a internet search for SWTOR 2V-R8 Main hand & see how many results they get. I am a paying customer & this is just a video game. Well I want the ship droids to have their main hands given back to them. I know that I am not the only one. This is a game that I pay for monthly & I choose to use my ship droid as a companion because it makes me happy & therefore enjoy playing the game a little more. Once upon a time they had a main hand so it shouldn't be too hard to give it back to them. I should have the choice. Hint: People might not hate the ship droid companions so much if you could fully build them up & had them stay quiet on the ships just like all the other companions. Yes the ship droids companions once said that they were not built for combat & my toons response was well we can change that by just giving you a blaster & some armor. I didn't realize at the time that the ship droid was in charge; I mean here I was thinking that I made the decisions. I use 2V-R8 every day. He is my companion of choice. My 2V-R8 has over 30k HPs, Heavy Armor, HEALS LIKE A BEAST!, Stuns NPCs, & doesn't say a word unless I click on him. He is the perfect companion. Give him a main hand! A Ranged Weapon, A Second Generator, Give him a Magic Paintbrush for all I care as long as I can Mod it out. Create a story where the ship droid companions have grown jealous of M1-4X, T7-01 & Scorpio & now want to venture out into the field to experience the world. Or make up your own. That would be great. FIGHTING FOR SHIP DROID COMPANION EQUAL RIGHTS!

So no real noticeable difference with pvp gear progression, time & effort . I guess ... care less ... got it.

We wanted a system that could handle creating our desired power range more seamlessly, allowing players an easy transition between the leveling game and the PvP game. To that end, we reworked the Bolster system to not function off player level (as it did pre-2.0) and instead use the power level of the items a character currently has equipped. Effectively, this lets us define our “Recruit Item Set” systematically, where if players are below a certain power level we can bring that player up to a power range where they can participate and enjoy PvP. Now players who just hit level 55 no longer have to go looking for a special set of gear to wear in PvP just to try to compete, they can simply queue up and play as they have been their entire leveling experience. It’s unfortunate that our Bolster 2.0 release hasn’t gone nearly as smoothly as we hoped and that can certainly lead to the suggestion of limiting its use, but without some kind of system in-place we would be in a situation where players will have been playing in a competitive PvP environment as they level up, and as soon as they hit level 55 their PvP enjoyment immediately tanks and they are forced to “suffer through it” to gain enough Warzone Commendations to buy gear to finally be competitive (or simply never play PvP again). We believe that would be very bad in the long run for SW:TOR PvP, and something we are working to avoid. Bolster in the real world = I can compete in any competitive field like president or brain surgeon or theoretical physicist because everything was given to me regardless of no skill no training no experience no schooling but due to bolster I should have relatively the same amount of a competitive edge. I should get close to the same payoff as well. This is ridiculous. Also when I started competing in pvp I fully understood that I would not be able to compete with the best of the best until I persevered & overcame through obtaining gear, experience & skill over time. There should be a difference between pve gear & pvp gear or have no difference at all, & the difference between high lvl gear & low lvl gear should be huge not small especially since it takes long periods of time & effort to obtain. The difference should be Very noticeable. Believe it or not I really do enjoy this game or did before I found out that all the time I spent trying to get better pvp gear would only give me a few more points even though it took three times as long to obtain.

pvp gear should be for pvp & pve gear should be for pve. they need to be 2 separate things or we should get rid of pvp servers & pve servers. why not just have something called "gear" & "servers" & have it all work the same. If pve gear works well in high lvl pvp then pvp gear should work well in high lvl pve no more complaining about get better gear noob on both sides of the fence.

I agree with the bolster in theory & yes I believe skill is important but I think gear should be important as well since it's something that a person tries to acquire over long periods of time. I don't think that the difference between low lvl gear & high lvl gear should be slight but rather large therefore giving me something to look forward to & strive for. When it comes to end game I would prefer to be the strongest in the world not just a little better than the equally skilled guy in the same class who just started.

ok well then take 2 experienced players 1 with good gear & 1 & with bad gear should they still be relatively equal?

Under the bolster as it stands a terrible player wearing terrible gear can dish out serious damage to an experienced good player wearing top tier gear just because they can swing a lightsaber & hit a smash button.

I'm just trying to understand why I should spend any time at all grinding for pvp gear.

Bolster = Beginner Padawan child better than all the years of dedication & experience of Yoda Jedi Master? Why have different Tiers of Gear? Why care about spending time playing the game if I can be new & already be the best there ever will be?

Been listening to same songs on fleet for over a year. Yes there are oh let's see 8 songs but only play maybe 3 tops over & over. beginning to think this is some form of torture

Yes a Partisan power relic & a Conqueror power relic will stack but is most likely a glitch or bug that will be fixed. 2 Conqueror power relics will Not stack & 2 Conqueror damage type will not stack. According to combat log parser you can have 1 Conqueror power relic & 1 Conqueror Damage type relic & this Will work together. I choose to believe that Bioware would assume that people might want to advance to the highest level tier of armor & such and have it not be a pointless thing to do.

My favorite cantina is the one that happens to be some sort of social gathering place because people go there & hang out because there are things to do like the one on the fleet SHOULD be. So I guess none at the moment. By the way this game is a great game please keep improving it.

I just gatta say that I believe C2-N2 on pub ships is worse at always talking on the ship than 2V-R8 is on imp ship but yes it would be nice to keep them both quiet while walking around the ship. Speaking of silencing companions did you know that Ashara Zavros can do anything with the force & that Tharan Cedrax is a pacifist?

I should have the choice to use 2V-R8 or not. Love him or hate him, having only 1 companion with 1 empty slot is just wrong & like i said it can be any kind of mainhand but again i should have the choice, it's just a game i play to have fun. I choose to like 2V-R8 and would like to gear him out alongside all my other companions. Others can choose to ignore him & that's fine too.

Make the Training Droid able to cast on All targets. The Training Droid is one of the coolest looking droids in the game & is never used, but to be able to cast it on a friend is priceless. Make the duration of the HoloDancer we paid real money for last at least as long as all the free holo toys. This should take all of 2 seconds to fix in your programming and everyone would have some nice toys to play with. Thank you

Things I paid extra real money for & use the Least. The Training Droid has got to be one of the coolest looking droids in the game but it is never used. I know it can be used as a target marker but we already have target markers in the game. Please make the Training Droid able to be placed on ANY selected target Friend or Foe. I think this would be a fun Social item and at that point would actually be used. The Holo Dancer time limit needs to be extended. All other Holo toys have at least 30 seconds on them but the one Holo I paid real money for only lasts for 10 to 15 seconds. Please, please, plz give 2V-R8 a main hand. A ranged weapon, a second generator, a magic paintbrush for all I care as long as I can mod it up. Guild Ships Pets you can ride MORE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hearing the same song over & over & over & over & over & over......on the fleet is just wrong!!!!!!
