  1. Recognizing that this post is already 4 years old, and you likely will not even see this reply, I still want to acknowledge your excellent analysis of the Jedi Code and your observations of where it is deficient. To say, "there is no emotion" or "there is no passion" is to deny the reality of what it means to be human. The goal is not to root out emotion and passion like disease, but rather to come to a place of inner stillness and reflection where we are not ruled by them. For this reason, I prefer the original version of the code (i.e. "emotion, yet peace," etc.).
  2. Currently level 33. I went the Artifice/Archaeology/Treasure Hunting route, and I really regret not having taken Biochem from the beginning. Artifice is a HUGE credit-sink. I have spent so many credits trying to RE greens and blues to get epic recipes and then running Arch and TH missions to get the necessary mats. I think it would have been a lot cheaper to just buy what I wanted from the GTN. I was hoping to recoup some of my losses by selling my stuff on the GTN, but the epic mats are so rare that it's just not cost-effective. I'm getting close to 300 skill in all three, but I think about dropping them for Biochem/Bioanalysis/Diplomacy nearly every time I play. Do yourself a favor, and go Bio from the beginning.
  3. Just hit 33 last night and finished Chapter 1 of the class quest. I've been Vengenence since level 10. I mostly quest solo and get my pvp dailies in with rare grouping for a flashpoint or two. I have to say, I love the class and have been in love with it since the beginning. I've played a number of classes up to the mid-20's, and Jugg is my favorite, so much so that it completely cured my alt-a-holism. Whether or not it does the most DPS, it's just plain fun to play! And with Quinn keeping your health topped off, you really do feel like the Energizer Bunny Steamroller of Destruction! I'd recommend keeping your gear up to date, as well as your chosen companion's gear. Be sure you're using your cooldowns, because they can make a significant difference in the outcome of a fight. I read a lot of complaints about Jugg before rolling mine up, so I keep expecting it to get harder or more frustrating, but so far it's been great. I plan to switch to Rage once I hit 50, so perhaps my assessment of the class will change then.
  4. Finally got my Legacy name yesterday, so he's now Skulltaker Bloodrage.
  5. An easy solution to the problem of killing companions would be to have new generic companions available to everyone at level 50: a dps, a tank and a healer. Perhaps they wouldn't get affection or have a storyline, but they could fill any gaps.
  6. Fan-freaking-tastic!! Great job, man. Legendary.
  7. Nice. I tried Angron, Kharn and Arbaal, but they were unavailable.
  8. Skulltaker, as the signature says. Champion of Khorne from the Warhammer book "Blood for the Blood God.
  9. Dear Bioware: Love the game. Having tons of fun. But I was really sad in my pants last Friday evening when the servers were shutdown for maintenance. Unless it's an absolute emergency, please consider scheduling maintenance during the week. For most of us, Friday and Saturday are the days we can stay up later than usual. Shutting down the servers on those days is especially painful. Thanks for your consideration.
