OK. Changed compatibility setting to Windows XP (from Windows 10) and I can now access my characters. (Right click desktop icon, click Properties, click Compatibility tab.) Clunky workaround, but it works.

Same: stuck on Quick Play screen. Checked no additional processes are running, tried deleting Bitraider... Will try changing compatibility mode. (Windows 10)

Might be a necro thread, but I had the same problem today - so might be helpful to someone. Too much curiosity - I re enabled the third light fence and then was unable to get to Pierce. Tried jumping around and the /stuck command on the off-chance, but no joy. Only one instance, so changing not an option. In the end, left the compound and then was able to reset the class quest. Of course, had to fight the same troops as before and destroy all three fences again, but was able to reach Pierce.

I thought that accuracy was not important for Guardian - or indeed any tank. However, my Level 70 Guardian has an accuracy rating of 111% - but all my gear is tank focused, none containing accuracy at all. I'm confused! I've tried respeccing and rebuilding but to no avail. Possibly related - all gear drops for me in story line and Heroic 2+ have been DPS gear. (Rather unhelpful!) Command token stuff however has been for my tank discipline. Any ideas or advice gratefully received.

Me too - deleting all the Bitraider processes through Task Manager did the trick. Thank you.

OK - after a dozen restarts I'm finally in. No idea what the problem was!

Just completed Chapter V of Knights of the Eternal Throne and moving onto The Dragon's Maw Chapter VI. I get the Theron Shan conversation about the party, and then have the instruction "Board the Transport in the Military Hangar" with the pink mission triangle. When I click on the transport, I get a loading screen with a picture, but then I am transported to the outside of Odessen. I've reset the mission, tried switching to Veteran mode and back to story mode, logged out, restarted the PC and game, changed companions before entering the war room - to no avail. Any help gratefully received.

Well - my problem at least seems to be sorted. In a fit of pique I uninstalled the game and then downloaded it again. It took 32 hours on my broadband connection, so not for the faint-hearted. But at least I can now play Knights of the Eternal Throne - which so far is looking good.

Have you tried abandoning the mission? It should then reset. (Note the word "should"!)

Hope you are able to find a solution, lonestarlarry. Dev bot replied to my ingame ticket suggesting I try the steps that I said I'd already tried in my glitch report! Hoping against hope that the new patch sorts it...

If your launcher won't start, try deleting your Bitraider folder (if you haven't already.) My launcher isn't the problem, sadly, so it didn't work for me.

I was happily playing Knights of the Fallen Empire yesterday morning before shutdown. Downloaded the Knights of the Eternal Throne yesterday evening - game launched fine, and I was able to play as normal. However, as soon as I click on the Chapter 1: Wrath and Ruin button, I have problems. I get the cutscreen, and then the rolling titles. However, the game either freezes there, or on the cutscreen when the Knight contacts Vaylin on Voss. The screen freezes, although the music carries on playing. The only way out is to restart the PC. Although it's not a launcher issue, I have deleted and reinstalled the Bitraider folder - no help. All drivers are up to date, and I've not downgraded anything - or indeed used the PC - between closing down before the patch and restarting to load the expansion. (I am a subscriber, and have several characters who have completed all KotFE chapters.) Any advice gratefully received. (I've also posted this on Reddit - no response yet - and opened an ingame case through a lower level character.)

Thanks both. I've always summoned characters from the Crew Skills pane before. (It didn't help that I had bound N to a different action!) HK-55 now talking to me, and I'm resuming the game.

Chapter IV Knights of the Fallen Empire: Only mission in the Mission Log reads "Speak to HK-55". Pink Story Mission marker from Endless Swamp and from Gravestone Command Deck both point to Eastern Swamp. No pink marker on map for Eastern Swamp (mission is tracked.) No sign of HK around 4303 -384 near Gravestone entrance. In Crew Skills screen, no Summon button for any character. Abandon and Reset buttons greyed out. No characters on Crew Skills missions. Logged out and reentered area several times. Am I doing something stoopid? Advice gratefully received!

I had the same issue with Torch's Flame on Rishi. What worked for me was right click on my character's portrait on the Quickbar, and then Phase. Click "Reset all active flash points", and I was then able to enter the solo mode. HTH!

Umm: a couple of things. First, if there were no "super rare" items at super low odds, where'd be the fun in gambling? Secondly, what's wrong with a business making money? I love the game and want it to carry on and for new locations, missions and so on to be added. If the developers aren't paid, how's that going to happen? I'm a subscriber because I enjoy the game. I support FTP too for those who are less keen or less fortunate than I am. And I support people who buy cartel coins if they want a bit of reasonably priced fun. It's all good!
