  1. So I'm on the Torch's Flame quest on Rishi, just about to accept the FP on solo mode when someone asks me to join their group. I select accept FP instead of Solo Mode and soon after the group disbands before starting. Now I want to do it in Solo Mode but I can't abandon the quest. I'm stuck in regular FP mode and I want to solo it. But I can't abandon FP mode for the quest. Tried reset but doesn't help. I'm I doomed to try and find a group, otherwise have it stuck in my mission log with no chance of doing it in solo mode?
  2. lol....<wiping away tears>....thank you BW, I didn't think it was possble to elicit such extreme levels of nerd rage. People threatening to go back to WoW (please God make it so), people talking about how they "worked hard" to legitimately get their pvp gear (because sitting eating potato chips whilst playing a computer game for hours is backbreaking labour as we all know), mass rage quitting, demands, entitlement.... I justhope that a large number of those people currently experiencing dangerous spikes in blood pressure are the "cya at launch" crowd who trolled all thos with problems getting into Beta or had probs with security questions, etc. As I said at the time - karma is a beeatch.
  3. Seeing you call it a "grind" made me smile tbh. My first MMO was Lineage 2, a veritable Korean grindfest. I spent a year mindlessly killing mobs night after night and still never reached level cap by the time I quit. I've played SWTOR for a couple of weeks and have nearly maxed my primary char whilst I have several low level alts as well. Additionally, the lion's share of xp has came from turning in quests (where I think 25 is the highest amount of mobs I've had to kill) rather than from grinding 2 million of a certain mob. So I would use the word "grind" in the very losest of terms in relation to this game. As far as a lot of people like myself would be concerned, there is no grind to speak of. I'll continue playing other classes for their class storylines. I agree that normal side quests might get repetitive, albeit you can select different responses and choices for a slightly different feel to them. But the main storylines for each class keep me progressing with them. I know what you mean, I've skipped most of the heroics and flashpoints as well. Thankfully, missing them hasn't hindered my progress as I still get enough xp from side quesst and class quests so I consider them as non-essential. One remedy to trying to get a group together is to run with friends or be part of a good guild who group up with each other for such things.
  4. +1 I have to select to hide my assassins helmet because she looks ridiculous with the mask and no hood.
