You have a point... and i don't claim that i have tried all the AC composition!! ;-) But i did try some class like BH who could heal themself a bit... you just have to be quick on the interrupt / stun when they try !! hehe But i can see the prob. with a tank assasin who can self heal without being interrupted...

Healers very rarely win a 1on1 by killing the opponent. I could very easily... Just make sure you put your corrosive dart all the time and toss a shiv time to time, then spam your heals all over the place... you can drop any 1v1. Its a long fight but i managed to win most of them.

I used to fake cast a lot in Wow, but in Sw:tor (as operative healer)you should never fake cast... Diagnose scan is your best fake cast. It cost nothing and regen your energy!! I think too vanish is kind of bad as is... you have to burn your 3s Dodge or shield just after you hit the vanish, this way, you wont get out of stealth. Macro would help a bit for this.. but BW does not want us to spam sequence of logical spell !

I would try to LoS them. Slow them down then run around corner / pillar / anyobject... I know it is basic PvP Strats... but i can't think of anything else right now.. Also, spam Diagno. scan. Most of the time they wil burn there interrupt on it.. then spam you 2s cast heal

Ok, we were a guild of Real life friends. We were a small guild (~10). we are all mature (35-40 years old) We have some players who already lvl 3-4 50's We have some players (like me) who only have 1 50's and many other alts Some of them were bored because all they had to do was WZ. Flashpoints were fun, but it was becoming harder to get groups (have to stay in the fleet and shout!!! i hate that) A LFD would help a lot here, i know it's been announced, but it is a bit late since i would have loved to run them while lvling. But while i was lvling, i preferred questing on the planets instead of shouting for 20-30 mins to form a group!!! we know D3 is coming out in 7days... all i say is no one log in swtor and they all bough D3 and wait for the launch!

So i canceled my sub this morning... :-( Hope BW will implements features that was missing in our opinion. I can say that the 3 months i played, i had a blast!... But one thing bugged me out all that time... the world felt so empty! Take a planet like alderan, it is huge... and there was like 9 people on it while i was lvling. I have chosen a pvp server because i love the thrill to lvl and have to fight opposite faction!!! well, it never happened ONCE. I love to be able, in a standard MMO, to attack an opposite faction town/outpost. Couldn't do that in this game since they placed mister ONE SHOT me in front of the outpost!! For me, Open world PVP is non-existent in this game. I don't even understand why they made me choose between a PVP or PVE server? I really hope BW will bring some imporvement while D3 catch all my attention... then maybe i will come back to enjoy SWTOR again Regards

Well, i did not chrono it, but if i try to go to corellia while my Q for pvp is active, if hte WZ pop while loading, I often miss my Q due to load time... I don't remember what is the timer on the pvp Q box for entering the WZ. but it is longer than that ...

Maybe there is an option i did not see!. But i would love to have some epic SW music as soon as i get into combat. There is so much music to choose from since SW movies have the greatest...!!! I know there is some music when you fight a boss or in FP etc.. but i would love to have music each time i fight. It not a big suggestion, but it would be nice for me and a lot of people im sure... ;-) Regards

well, just a little update... ;-) I did upgrade 1 or 2 pieces of gear and bought the centurion head piece. i also learn to use more efficiently my defensive abilities. As many of you said, i can see a little difference since i'm no longer 1 shot :-D I was even able to be first healer on my team with a couple of MVP votes /hourra back on the grind today ;-)

I think his question is valid, since if i don't pvp grind to, at least, get some pvp gear... I don't stand a chance against anyone. In this situation, pvp is not very fun.

please, did i say that... actually, people with good pvp gear probably think they are hot stuff coming at me and one shot me. In lower bracket, the lvl 12 had more chance to kill me or at least have a good fight.

In PvE, i feel ok. But in PvP i get rolled so bad!! i just hit 50 yesterday and now its worst than ever... My heals sucks My Dmg sucks And i have no survivability!!!! Shield does not protect me enough and the cool down is too long. Evasion : 3 second is too short! i don't even have the time to heal myself during this time. Vanish : for some reason, it does not work 80% of the time. I guess i have a dot on me when it does not work. But sometime i feel like i vanish while an enemy player was casting and even if i'm stealth, i get hit and re-appear!!. And TA I like TA, but i feel that 2 TA max is not enough, at least for healers. Maybe for DPS it would be too much, but for heals i would go up to 4. Or make Kolto Infusion free with a little cooldown maybe! sorry i needed to vent a bit... after being 1 shot all night long yesterday!!!

Yeah, i took my time to level and i just hit 50 yesterday! I'm an OP healer and i began my pvp grind to get the commendations. Before 50, warzone was not so bad. But now, it will be a long and frustrating journey!!! Heals: i feel like i try to heal a lvl 50 as a lvl 10 player... my biggest heal with 2s cast time heal others for 10 maybe 20% of their total HP!! Survive! Forget about surviving, as soon as ONE enemy player is on me, i am ONE shot (ok maybe 2 shot ;-). And most of the time, they did not even use their CC. I'm not new to PvP and i know all the basic tricks (get around pillar and use LoS etc), but whatever i try, i fail so bad due to the fact i die so fast! I know i have 0 expertise yet, i guess having expertise make a huge difference, since i see other player going on very long fight before they die. How are you doing fresh 50 out there?

Unfortunately, no. Since Mac OSX use OpenGl instead of DirectX, all game suffer on a Mac Client. I played WoW without too much trouble since it does not require a lot. But SC2 was a pain on the Mac... Would love to see a Open DirectX in a near future ;-) but i think im dreaming

Agree 100% on the world PVP and crafting. I had the exact same thought about PVP while leveling (STV in wow was a zone where you felt insecure because you knew you could get ganked anytime) Honestly, i don't even know why there is PvP and PvE servers. i always lvl in MMO in PvP servers because i like the thrill of it. Im lvl 42 now and never felt any thrill while lvling in this game!!!

In resume, games need a lot more FPS for our eyes to see it fluid because the graphics are a lot more detailed than a movies where there is a lot of blur effects

Just a simple question. Why Eviscerate does not works on elite and players??? I don't see the point of giving us an ability that only works on cheap target??

I play with my Naga (standard) since 2009. Played WoW, Rift ,Sw:tor and Starcraft This mouse changed my gaming life (MMO Wise) . I just feel completely fail when i have to play without my Naga. Just buy any of the naga model... you will never regret it. Promise
