  1. Snipers/Gunslingers hurt a lot. As a healer, they are one of my favorite targets since the only thing that stops them from destroying everything faster than a mara is their complete lack of defense abilities and overall squishiness. Maybe they don't have the utility of a mara/sent because they can't just charge into the fray and survive, but they are far from useless.
  2. It only has 5 dailes though, and they have a post saying you should start the questline no later than today if you want to get it all done. I can see what you are getting at, but the whole point of an unannounced limited time event is that you need to be on top of things to get everything done. It's all cosmetic anyway.
  3. Had something like this happen to me- was standing around waiting to turn sick but even after other people had gotten sick and exploded several times I was still just feeling lightheaded. It got fixed by popping one of the vaccines, then getting killed to remove the 5-hr playtime immunity provided by the vaccine. I was good to go after that.

The other day I watched a tank shadow in my guild hold off 5+ ppl on a node in alderaan for the duration of time it took me to go from the underground to the point, all while never dropping below 25% life. Today that same shadow fought a 2v1 with 5% life again for the time it took me to run from the underground to the node in CW where I promptly healed him back to full and he rolled face on the defenders. He might not kill you the fastest, but you have a slim to none chance of killing him.
  5. It's like 50 matches worth of WZ comms to get enough ranked comms to buy the gear to remove the mods from anyways tho so you should still be coming out ahead.

They might as well have just removed deliverance for all the use it will be now, but they kept Sanctuary as is so aside from those times in PvP where you are trying to keep up someone getting wailed on by 3 dps with back to back 1.5s cast deliverances I doubt much will be affected. Yea the free noble sacrifice nerf hurts a lil too, but I think that will be pretty minor once ppl respec to mitigate its health cost and stand in their Sanctuary circles during PvE content. Self-targeted insta heal followed by a reduced force cost sanctuary will still give you force and you'll be at 100% health once the heals wear off.

  8. Properly managed server populations shouldn't have ghost towns or server queues- those represent the two extreme ends of the spectrum. Take 1/2 of the Fatman's population and move them to one of the light servers. Walla, insert two birds and stoned idiom- no queues and no ghost towns. Continue to adjust as needed. Get off the horse about people complaining about queue times, because with the right amount of servers open and at equal pop amongst them all neither ghost towns or qq times should exist.
  9. Even before the nerfs I was lucky to get off 1/5 of my 1.3s deliverances. Now it's gonna be something like waste .5-1s baiting an interrupt with Mind Crush (during which pt I won't be healing), maybe try to bait another interrupt with a benevolence (since there is almost never just 1 guy trying to stop me healing), then go ahead and spend 2s casting Deliverance just to have it interrupted by someone else. Srsly, against a good group I have trouble getting off even a 1.5s channel. I fully anticipate never using deliverance come the patch except to **********-heal off in a corner for the 5k medal.
  10. Nah, you got it wrong OP. It should also apply a movement slow to the Sage/Sorc, and increase all dmg received by 100%. Then it would be fair...

Now I know a ton of people are thoroughly disgruntled by the appearance of the end game Jedi gear, but I gotta admit after a couple months of traipsing about in what (until recently) looked like a white rag stained with dirt I've gotten quite fond of the destitute hermit appearance. Let the Imperials keep their flashy chrome and black form-fitting body armor- vanity is on the path to the darkside- I'm a freakin Jedi, the greatest Jedi masters wore burlap sacks and lived in swamps. In future content updates I want togas with questionable stains, a set of fingerless gloves and open-toed shoes. Some dirt smears on my face wouldn't hurt either, the dust and rocks I'm tossing around gotta go somewhere.
  14. There is an old wives tale that if you pop all your crit enhancing abilities right before opening your bags you'll have a better chance of getting a BM token. Can't say if it works for sure myself as it still seems pretty random to me, but I have guildies who swear by it and they do seem to accrue BM gear much quicker than myself.
  15. Someones feelings got hurt now that they can't stomp level 10's and 20's that only have half the skill rotation at their disposal? I hope you lose your next 30 WZs and all your teammates are fresh 50's vs teams of conquerors.

  17. What is this I don't even... There should never be a time when a healer pops a Sent/Mara back to full life during their UR, because the healers should be long dead before the Sent/Mara gets low on life and needs to use UR. Focus the healers first, rule #1 of MMO PvP. The hypothetical 1v1 situation where UR would be OP shouldn't occur in a WZ, nor should the hypothetical situation where a healer gets a Sent/Mara back to full during the 5s window, assuming people are playing properly. Every ability can be put in a scenario with a group of baddies and get termed "OP".
  18. Why is the Mara/Sent at low life if the healer is still alive? A sage's saber swing is OP if they are playing against people who just run into the wall.
  19. LOL @ GW2. Expectations so high that even if it is the best game made in decades people are gonna be disappointed. I personally expect it to end up somewhere on the middle to low end of the "awesomeness" spectrum for games released this year.
  20. Different games are different? Just because something was overpowered in one doesn't make it overpowered in another. WoW didn't have 15 different forms of CC on every character IIRC, try hitting a Sent/Mara with a stun when they are at 10-20% HP. At the very least you'll make em blow 2 minute+ CD's. Sure it's a good ability, but so is Force Bubble- 100% Immunity to ~3.5K dmg every 20 seconds. Stun the Sent/Mara when they are at low health and move along. If they have a pocket healer, why are you attacking the Sent/Mara to begin with?
  21. I'd just like it if all of my companions had end-tier(ish) weapons that I could purchase/upgrade instead of just 3 of them.

  23. I don't find it to be lacking really. I've been 50 for ~2 months now and still haven't even touched the PvE dailies, ops are fun if not super hard after you've done em a couple times, and PvP (or hopping up to the rafters in the fleet) is where I spend 90% of my time. Generally all my play time is spent getting the 3 armaments/pvp match to get the "Ilum" daily done while wracking up valor.

  25. I would advise against the inverse-hybrid build you are using. My personal preference is a 3/7/31 build for the snares from sever force, but until they change things for the 1.2 patch your best damage (with a whole ton of utility) comes from a 0/13/28 build.
