  1. This is important at all levels, but even more so at the lower levels. Everyone is running around looking exactly alike because at low levels, you are very limited on what armor is available to you. If you would just randomize the colors of the armor mission rewards, it'd go a long way towards making people look a little different. I was just doing a mission on my level 9 bounty hunter and noticed there were 3 other hunters in the area. We all looked exactly the same. Blah!
  2. 1. I'd like to see epic quest lines where I can bring more than 1 companion along. In fact, I'd like to see a major quest line that allows me to use all my companions at the same time. 2. It would be cool if I could use my alts as companions. I want to adventure with my own legacy team. That is all.
  3. I agree that you can't make everyone happy all the time, but come on... Don't you think BW is using this time to build hype for 1.2 in hopes of attracting new customers and/or retaining current ones? Over at mmorpg.com, how many videos / articles have been released detailing 1.2 or showing it in action? They're milking all the PR they can get out of the patch, and I don't blame them -- it makes good business sense (to a point anyway). The team is probably working on a build 2 or 3 patches ahead of 1.2 right now. 1.2 will be released to live as soon as they've gotten every last drop of PR out of it that they can.
  4. Option 3: Break the big patch up into smaller patches and release new stuff as it becomes ready. Don't hold up features a, b and c just because feature d and e aren't ready. That'd be my vote.
  5. Some people are just anal about things. I started playing this game in Beta, and I've been playing since. My highest character is 46, and I'm fine witht that. It's not a race. I have encountered very few bugs, and I'm having a blast witht he game. I love the stories, and find myself playing longer than I should each night, because I want to know what happens next. This game is GREAT right now, and will only get better with time. If you can't see that, just move on to the next game and start trashing it. I have no doubt that's exactly what you'll do, because no MMO will ever live up to your expectations on release. Now, enough of these whining depressing forums. I'm going back in game, and enjoying my day away.
  6. 1. Who says I "need" to make specific suggestions? 2. I'm pretty sure that BW is smart enough to figure out how to be less predictable. If I really have to explain that to the company, the game is in serious trouble. 3. I gave examples of what I found to be predictable in my OP. What's with the forum police here? I made a suggestion and other players are telling me it's not valid or good enough? My original suggestion stands. Make the game less predictable. Surprise me once in a while. Use the talent that I KNOW BW has, and make it happen. As a customer, you don't need me to tell you how to do your job -- you just need me to tell if you if you're doing it right.
  7. /facepalm... Complaint: "I don't like how predictable the game is." Suggestion: "Being less predictable would make the game better." This isn't rocket science.
  8. This game needs a random element badly. Here's an example of what I mean: I get to a console mission objective and click on it. Guess what happens next? Yep, an elite enemy shows up and I have to fight him. Enemy groupings are pretty much the same regardless of what or who I'm fighting. I can fight one enemy group while another looks on from 20 yards away and does nothing. The list goes on, but the point is simple. Once you figure out the basic way the game works, it's just an exercise of rinse and repeat. There's no real threat as long as you stay with enemies in your level range. There's very little surprise, and nothing happens out of the ordinary.
  9. While I disagree that the classes must be a mirror of each other (simliar is fine, the same is lame), they could at least change up the animations and effects more. Sometimes companies worry so much about balance, that they forget about fun. Just sayin....
  10. This thread is yet another reason I prefer to solo. You simply cannot control other people, and it's just going to end badly if you try. No amount of whining will change that.
  11. You're making a huge assumption that they'd put all that extra money back into the game. Gaming companies are still companies, and companies are all about ROI and profit. If you can make more money and spend less doing it, you are golden.
  12. What would you call it? Pick up this, examine that. It all takes somewhere between 2 and 4ish seconds. Sounds like clicking a glowie to me...
  13. Sucks. I find it incredibly annoying that I can't click on a mission objective, rez my companion, switch weapons, etc. while engaged in combat. It's even more annoying when "engaged in combat" means a mob somewhere on the map is aggro'd to me, but no where close. I'll never understand why this artificial limits are placed on the game world and players. I'm guessing the reasoning is they don't want my companion to distract mobs while I click the glowies. Why not? That's a legit play style. Instead, I get to engage mobs and a ninja gets to come in and click the glowies that I'm fighting for. BLAH! Horrible design IMO. That is all.
  14. Wow, looks like the loot police are out in full force. The way I see it, when another player pays my sub, they can tell me when to use need vs. greed. Until then, I think I'll play my own game.
