  1. *waves at Genttrey* Hi I'm following you to this thread because you aren't posting in the other one and its no fun anymore. Actually, for once I agree with you but don't let it get to your head. Xenofire is the equivalent of the ruthless gladiator in pvp, he's the best, most helpful, most knowledgable pve sorc on these forums. Plus, he doesn't act like a know-it-all like some of the posters in the pvp threads, ahem, cough cough Minmax and Genttrey. Xeno for swtor pve president imo...****salute**** When you get done testing those items you mentioned above, please post for us lazy players !
  2. Lol, ooh the high and mighty have spoken. I'll tell you what was fun, watching you get trainwrecked over and over by the two marauders and that sorc the other day in novare coast. Learn to live longer than 30 seconds when focused lmao. Also, no one cares about your mouse or keyboard or your keybinds or your macros. Seriously, if you are so good, why did you die 6 times in that match? Pretty funny that you can't kite those three pubs for more than 30 seconds. It was funny watching you try to stay alive lmao. And yes, my alt was on the pub side that match. I'll told everyone to focus fire you. Where were all of your guildies? Oh my bad, they quit just like you said you were gonna do. lrn to live more than 30 undr ff, that is all.
  3. No. Let me tell you what my issue with you is. This thread of yours is haughty. It smacks of you sitting on high helping us plebes be successful like you. Sure, some of your posts are helpful to some people who haven't thought things through. Kudos to you. The issue is that people will actually turn to you for guidance thus fueling the ego to post more. And even when you get called out, you can't admit that it is a good point and that you will give it a shot instead of some lame excuse that complete camera control is merely a preference. Thats just not true- it is a big advantage over people who don't do it. If you want to be a swtor sorc leader, do it with more grace pls. I'm just as mad at the other guy because I'm sure he has a lot of neat little things but he's too selfish to share them on the forum because he probably has the same hoity toity attitude as you. However, since I've seen him play and he let us see some of his wow ratings I am much more inclined to listen closely with him. Thats a moot point anyway because he said he quit. In the end, I know you will keep posting. This is the last time I reply to anything of yours though, I promise. I think a little hypocracy was exposed and that is as good as it gets on dese forums.
  4. You've got to be kidding me. Just admit you learned something new for heaven's sake instead of playing it off as "meh." There really is no doubt about which is better for control. Hell, I will even admit that I've learned a few things reading some of these threads, although i assumed most people knew about camera control. Time to step up to the plate son, camera control is much better the other way with complete control whether you want to play it off or not you just learned something new too. For the simple economy of motion it is dumb to jump turn cast when you don't have to. By the way, it also lets you cast deathfield to each side and slightly behind with much more control. Ok, you win though now. How can I even try to make a point with you when you think uneeded jump turning is a preference issue on deathfield when it really is about economy of motion? Or controlling your camera completely is just a preference over snapping back? If you can't admit you just learned something new without playing it off, then what has this swtor forum world come to? i'll tell you: HEdblhockeystix! oh man my hed hurts now, bye.
  5. Omg. The OP didn't even know to turn smart camera off to kite cast and get a better view of the field? And this knucklhead is still in other threads posting tips. LMAO. This is what I am talking about, the difference between posers and gladiators in the other thread. Seriosuly, jump turn cast deathfield, lmao. Oh well, at least we have more insight into the kind of player offering us help lol.
  6. You are just plain dumb, to be honest. First you use the FOTM ad hominem incorrectly. Secondly, you put quotations around it with no purpose except to draw attention to the fact that you used a trending word on SWTOR forums. LMAO. I never said I am a gladiator. That's one reason why I refuse to prance around the forums making threads about helping people. Just trust me, 80% of these so-called experts will get their butts handed to them by the silent minority of hardcore (likely WoW glad) pvp'ers who read this crap and laugh. I've seen very few posts from people who actually have glad rankings and, in none of them, do they sit here and try to give lessons to people. The OP in this thread just asked a question, I didn't see him post how to do this or that. You know why- because to be the best top 0.5% or whatever it is is ridiculously hard and why would they sit in a forum for epeen? On one of the servers mentioned in this thread, Dreshdae Cantina, there is a small guild of players comprised of some WoW gladiators, xuktoldoth or something. I was allowed to run with them once in a while and it was eye-opening how they broke down the warzones. There were never one-v-ones in their group. Unfortunately, they haven't been around except maybe one guy, but they had some incredible melee pain-train players and very good healers to include one sorc. I would listen to people like them but for some reason this caliber of player refuses to post in these forums. Same on Fatman server, there is a group of pvp'ers who are gladiators that will roflstomp and I've looked for them here but they never post.
  7. Lmao, ok guy, post a link to a thread that has some person spoutingoff names from one or two servers? Apparently, you didn't even understand the point of this thread. All I can say, when the time comes for people to see ratings I hope you don't embarass urself. Link me your gladiator toon in WoW and I'll give you props. At least the OP had the balls to tell us his. In any case, guessing from your sig, WoW (the only game that has meaningful rankings) is the one you didn't play lmao yeah right. Or, you played it but never got gladaitor (most likely). Give us the name of your WoW toon if you played it; If you can prove it was you I will give you props. Same with OP if you didn't quit already. Otherwise, keep linking forum posts on who is popular as your evidence looolo. There will prolly be a ton of people who get mad at my post because they never got gladiator in wow and dont want to be reminded in SWTOR because they can have a "fresh start" here hahah. Nothing to see here...more people full of doody most likely.
  8. Lol this post is true. There are so many pvp heroes until a rating system evolves. These so-called experts will stop posting or, if they continue to post, will be ridiculed for talking out of the side of their neck. The good players don't post much except for in a forum like junkies. Even there, the best players rarely post. Can you believe that there is actually a thread on these sorc forums saying something like "are you haveing problems with playing sorc? let me help!" lol. I guess we'll see if that minmax guy is actually worth anything when bioware allows public search function of ratings, but even then in an 8v8, you still have the potential to be carried.
  9. Oh man, I haven't thought about republic side. That must really stink and be no fun. At least with rateds, if you had a skilled team, you will still win despite being outgeared in the beginning. Sorry buddy. I would either roll imperial or roll out WoW again and do arenas.
  10. Whatever, you are snuffleufagus, Erickson is my brother (from another mother) and I'm still mad at him looooolo. You must have been near, and interacted with, the rayray home your whole life. Go back to your cubicle and do some more programming while I play my brother's (from another mother) game, angry.
  11. he isn't juggling them he is dropping them. Man, the issue here is THE LAST MINUTE NOTICE GUISED AS "OH SORRY WE JUST DECIDED 12 HOURS PRE-PATCH TO NIX RATEDS." If I were Erickson, I would be utterly embarassed to put that message out. At least look us in the face when you appologize. i.e. tell us that rateds weren't ready when you actually decided not to deploy them, not 12 hours before patch release. Give your paying-base more credit than this- we are smart enough to realize that you knew well before you announced. There will still be fanbois who claim that he really did make a decision that close to the patch. Doesn't unprogramming the rateds out take longer than that? Even if not, poor, poor communication.
  12. This post is actually one of the very few intelligent ones about what bioware did with rateds and patch 1.2. I agree with the premise- they realized how bad they screwed up and I agree that as a result they are giving 30 free days. They are taking a huge hit with public relations. The patch, pvp-wise, is a huge mess. The war hero grind is pointless without fun rated warzones. "fun" being relative. Actually I'm surprised this thread hasnt been deleted. Its pretty weird to me that Bioware polices its thread content much more tightly than Blizzard. But this is coming from a company that doesn't even have server-specific forums. That's another odd thing isn't it? Server forums build a lot of rapport within a community- especially for pvp'ers. In the end, at least Bioware isn't so arrogant that they do absolutely nothing- we got 30 free gaming days. Has anyone seen more quotes from erickson about making the really shady last-minute announcement or has he and swtor staff remained silent? I look but can find nothing more. Seriously, they want us to believe that they pulled rateds 12 hours before release of 1.2? doesn't it take longer than that to "unprogram" the rated content from the patch? edit: And yes- this is unprecdented- 30 free days of game play right after a patch makes no sense whasoever. the patch itself should bring more players into the fold. That move is definitely an appology for terrible pr practice. Also, too many of the whiner pvp'ers want to focus on qq instead of talking about the types of issues in this thread.
