  1. I think there needs to be a combative way against botting in pvp, except if you've ever seen in youtube these bots just run around and autoattack, so they should easily be able to get either: enough objective score for a medal, kills (from help from allies), or 75k damage done, (or a winning medal by being carried) Except all it really does is hurt people like yourself, or people who enter the game late. Personally I think anyone entering a game late should be rewarded a "reinforcement" medal = to the number of dauntless medals the winning team gets. That way you get rewarded for playing a losing match that you weren't there the full duration of (and can probably get your 8 medals for maximum commendations from a loss.) Just my opinion.
  2. I find the one issue, from a serious-pvp standpoint, is that its not the survivability that the ability is useful for, its for objectives. Marauders have an excellent capacity to hold out objectives above and beyond most every other class; with exceptions of the vanish abilities of things like the operative, or a tank+healer guarded combination. This is especially noticeable in places like voidstar, when defending, where every second on a revive timer counts. With proper coordination in premades, timing your survivability cooldown as the revive window opens up is pretty much uncounterable by opposition.
  3. Loved the event, with a few issues. I loved that there was no hint and it just happened. It really fit well with the whole idea of it being an outbreak. I really liked the fact that it was such a surprise. I hated the companion boxes. Next time if you want an RNG based reward system, add a cheaper version and a more expensive "get what you want" version. So for example: Have the existing companion box, 20 tokens. Have the individual tokens, but they should be 80. That way you can play luck or get exactly what you want. The vaccine not lasting through death and its cost were very prohibitive. Also don't allow debuffs like that into Ranked Warzones when they come out. I don't want a temporary event ruining the balance of pvp. Thanks
  4. This is how Voidstar is decided: In the events of: 0-0 or any tie game other than 6-6 Decided Randomly. (This needs to be changed before rated comes out, or losing team shouldn't lose points.) X>Y (1-0,2-1,3-2,4-3,5-4,6-5, etc.) Team with more points wins. Edit forgot the new one: In the event of a 6-6 match, the team reaching the datacore (and only the datacore) the FASTEST wins. Doors count for points #1, #3, #5 Bridge counts for #2 Shield doors counts for #4 Datacore counts for #6 =6 total This is fact.
  5. 1.Operative healers now have a MUCH easier time with energy management. 2.The stacking buff stacks up to 3, instead of 2, for 2% more healing output passively, alternatively an extra free instant. 3.The AoE heal buff you said. 4.Healing output from Expertise DID increase, but only around 1% for healers before/after 1.2 expertise changes. 5.An operative is designed to hot multiple people, they're EXCELLENT at smoothing out damage, and weak at single target focusing. They're also the most mobile which makes them have the highest survivability against ranged targets. You complained about the weakness of their single target heal but ignored their god-tier mobility and capacity to heal multiple targets easily. 6.You also ignored the fact that operatives get shut down the LEAST by Marauders or any melee, due to the majority of their healing coming from instant HoTs/instant casts. You can't have it all. Operatives are in a MUCH better place when speaking of their healing.
  6. bumping, I'm surprised nobody cares about a glaring issue with the changes to medals in 1.2
  7. Winning matches doesn't give everyone dauntless medals. In my two screenshots we both entered at the beginning together. Its the same game. Circled it for easy reading. Check it out: http://imgur.com/a/ZSZAs
  8. The worst thing about going dry is the fact that we don't have any ranged auto-attack. This is a huge issue when you're dry and you want to stop people from capping things.
  9. Beelora is an assassin. Riian is an assassin. You can see the protection. Raptor is a healer Sorc comparable numbers to Republic's Sage's Lockdown Sokall is a healer Sorc comparable numbers to Republic Sage's Excor In fact your healers performed better! Unholypotato (Most likely sorc from healing:damage ratio) did not perform well at all, or entered the game late. Jooma (Not sure if Assassin) didn't perform well at all, or entered the game late. Imis (Not sure if Assassin) didn't perform well at all, or entered the game late. Finally, its obvious your entire team didn't do very well holding doors, very little objective score and the damage output of your team was much smaller than theirs.
  10. And they were in your party? Edit: Thats also the german client, so it may be an issue just with the EN client.
  11. I really hope this isn't the case for the event
  12. Do the trials, getting broken ship parts scattered around the map
  13. Sounds like its not just me then.
  14. All 5 pandemic entries. All 3 world bosses dead. - This is the final codex entry which is the 9/9, for the title. Edit: 4/17, Today's Patch has corrected the issue for many people. Kill the Bantha World Boss again to get your title! Its apparently still not working for some people, however. EDIT: Apparently This is the official ninth codex entry: http://www.swtor-spy.com/codex/rakghoul-pandemic-earned-containment-officer-title/49699/
  15. I have 7/9 codex entries. I've completed the quest chain for the pet. I've killed the bantha/rakghoul world bosses. Haven't killed trapjaw. I completed the crashed wreckage quest chain. I completed the sand people quest chain. I haven't exploded anyone. Is exploding people a codex entry, and trapjaw as well? Because that would make me 9/9.
  16. Took ~70 minutes. Died twice due to a rubber band issue on a certain stairway and the other time from stupidity. Anyone else try this feat?
  17. Both teams scored 0 points. 0-0 is a tie game. Do you know what happens in a tie voidstar game? The game RANDOMLY CHOOSES A WINNER. As for the video, the only thing remotely overpowered is sleep dart. Everything else was good play by the operative / bad play by the enemy and their gear. Hell, in one of those 2v1 fights the operative took like 3 swings from the assassin. That fight in particular almost looked staged.
  18. https://twitter.com/#!/Rockjaw/status/188777789028184064 No. BUT, this week.
  19. 6 or 9k on Annihilator with a death field crit (with power relics) in PvP: 3.8k with chain lightning on a fresh 50 with relic + expertise adrenal. Sorc burst sucks.
  20. It says this would be much faster than an SSD, I'm currently using an M4 Crucial 64 SSD for the game, with: 1055t Processor 6 cores, OC to 3.2 GHZ 6770 HD Radeon 8 GB Ram (2x 4 GB) Would this really give me an improvement?
  21. Bumping. They've reinstated them in the 4/6 notes.
  22. Operatives are easy to spot guys, heres an easy flowchart: You see an operative. Is he rushing into melee range to stab people? Yes: Hes probably not a healer No: Is he CC'd or Stunned? Yes: Go back to the start of the flow chart after the duration ends. No: Hes a healer
  23. Bumping for discussion
  24. Sure there are. Like adding an exclamation mark to Hello World.
