  1. I have tried searching there, but I didn't get my hopes up as that is a trooper thread, and this rifle is clearly made for an operative as like I said before it has the Cunning stat on it, which is for agents. On another note, would it be wrong to send an ingame ticket asking for its location?
  2. Hello everyone! Because I am a sucker for modable weapons, I have been searching for the rifle known as the N-115 Particle Beam Disintegrator. However, I cannot seem to find it anywhere, nor have I seen it on anyone. If anyone has ANY information on this rifle at all, please do say so (even if you have just seen it on someone)! Judging from the information from http://www.torhead.com/item/dCNNJX9/n-115-particle-beam-disintegrator, there is a good chance that the rifle actually exists as it is given a selling price, mods, model, required level etc. Also, I am an Operative, and as the rifle has cunning on it, it is likely that it is on the Imperial side. The rifle is similar looking to the Renegade Interceptor (http://www.torhead.com/item/eAJibTb/renegade-interceptor), which I have, but they are not exactly the same, the N-115 Particle Beam Disintegrator has a scope and barrel attachment on it. I know this is a strange request but I really want this rifle, and any information would be super helpful! Thanks!
  3. No, what this game needs is a loot timer, like WoW has, where loot can be traded amongst party members eligible for that loot for a certain about of time, in WoW's case, 2 hours. That said, i'm absolutely certain that something like this will be in the works, and will be high priority.
  4. I bet BioWare thinks that we are all just a bunch of whiney Operatives who need to L2P, which we kinda are, but the very least they could do is make a post stating if or if not they are planning to do anything with the class, but for some reason it's pretty easy for them to miss almost 90 pages of feedback on one thread.
  5. The only problem I could see with your idea Sir_Toothless, is it would look very silly to see someone cover 30m of ground within a second by rolling. I like the mechanic, but I don't like the way you want to deliver it. Otherwise I like the idea, I think it just needs to be somthing different other then doing somersaults on the ground. I still kinda like my own idea, which is basically the same as yours, but allows you to travel vertically aswell.
  6. Translation: Hello everyone. I play Republic Sawbones Smuggler, Crownsolo, on the Deadweight server. A couple of weeks ago I was being grouped with team-mates that continuously allowed our enemy healer to free-cast undisturbed. Calling out their name and marking them didn't help so out of frustration I respecced scrapper to put some pressure on their healer. Next warzone I strictly focused on their healer (same player). First engagement I got the jump. 'Pow' 'ping' 'boom', Sorcerer dead. Then the rest of the Imperials died and we capped the turret, yay! Next wave the same group of Imperials make a run on our turret. I identified the healer and waited for them use their knock-back and made my move. I started with my shoot first 'pow' knocked them down and then, he was gone. Next thing I know I am being lightninged by the player from the balcony in mid, so I hit Disappearing Act regrouped and engaged. Same thing 'pow' but no 'ping' and no 'boom' they just disappeared this time he reappears from around the corner with a lightning to my face. At first I dismissed it as lag of some sort but after having this player do it over and over again it just didn't seem right but whatever, I adjusted. I was keeping pressure on their healer, the Imperials were dyeing, I was doing my job and we were winning, yay! Then this mystery started to spread to other players from that sorcerer guild. Then imps outside of the guild. Now I'm starting to see republic players do this. I’ve only levelled one character to 50, so I am not familiar with all of the other classes abilities. Is this an ability of some sort? or am I witnessing cheating?
  7. Hold tight guys, i'm working on a translation for this post as we speak!
  8. I think people are missing the point. A gap closer would make the class feel SOOOOO much more complete, fluid and enjoyable. I wouldn't mind if they took away Defib and Sever Tendon if they gave us a decent gap closer. I just think its odd that they didn't give and design this class around a gap closer in the first place. It would also be worth mentioning that there is a good chance that they will nerf the Operatives burst damage, and buff their sustainable damage in 1.2, which would then make the idea of a gap closer more feasable, as staying with your target would be more of a priority.
  9. Wait so Assassins have a gap closer, yet THEY get to keep all THEIR ranged abilities? Y U NO MAKE SENSE?
  10. The ability that I proposed would work as a gap opener too, as it does not require you to have a target.
  11. Considering that EVERY other melee class has a gap closer (Force Speed for Inquisitors and Shadows, Force Leap for Warriors and Knights, Grapple for Powertechs) the two former of which have far shorter cooldowns then of what i'm proposing for Operatives and Scoundrels. Not to meantion the fact that they can also have additional effects such as interrupts, stuns and the ability cleanse all movement-impairing effects when talented. Ranged classes on the other hand can simply do what they do best, attack targets from a range. The gap closer shouln't have that big of an impact on them, as if were in stealth, they would not be able to see us, and our element of suprise, rotataion and burst damage would act as normal. However if the ranged class COULD see us, our powerful burst abilities would be of little use and we would be forced to fight them 1 on 1, when operatives are at thier weakest. So until you roll an Operative and get him to level 50, I think it is you that needs some 'credibility'.
  12. I LOVE this idea. Kind of a mixture between the Warrior/Knight gap closer and the Inquisitor/Consular gap closer. Though I think I can improve on it a bit more. Let me know what you guys think. I tried to make the ability a balanced as possible by giving it a 1 minute cooldown and a high energy use, though it is a very robust ability and measures would have to be put in placed so this isn't abused in Huttball, but it would give Operatives and Scoundrels a fighting chance.
  13. Please BioWare, atleast say somthing on the matter
