No thank you. Generic Holiday events are bland imo. Pleas do not do this Bioware, spend your time crafting us a ****** spontaneous world event. Lets say a Sith invasion on Republic Fleet... or Force using Endorian Ewoks invade Dromund Kaas... you get the picture. Please do not play it safe and make Events something on a schedual that will only interfere with players if they choose to get involved. DESTROY the daily grind and force anyone who logs to deal with the world event.

And therein lies my problem. Marketing is an evil business and I do not agree with it.. I good product will sell itselfso much so that I refuse to watch, listen to, or wear any advertisements. I have been that way for 20+ years. And if you had read my further statements in this thread you would see that I said that I would happily pay more a month for the game if the higher sub fee allowed access to everything in game.

I very seriously doubt that an event will be out in time for haloween and dear god I hop they do not do a christmas one... I LOVE MMO events but I would like them to be spontaneous like in the beginning days of SWG not on an expected schedule every year.

Legacy is an awesome system that was innovative and fresh when first dropped. It is still a great part of the game but I really hope they do not neglect other areas of the game to double down on legacy.

yeah I have several companions in full rakata, it comes from communicating with the group and back in the day Sage gear dropped every time we did not have a sage in group so it defaulted to my Kira

as a tank it is invaluable. If I see anything other than my ugly mug there than I know something is not right and I also have the person who has pulled agro identified right there so I can guardian leap or whatever.

Yeah I probably am going to quit which is a sad sad thing because I love the game but this F2P model is kinda gamebreaking for me. I understand that I do not deserve EVERYTHING in game for free. I am more than happy to grin grind grind for nything I want in game, but as a subscription paying member it should not require any extra real world money to get any single item or perk in game, I should be able to just grind for it. I feel like the F2P model is being forced on me. PS its not about the amount of money, I am comfortably retired and well off. It is the corporate greed I see in this that disgusts me.

Shouldn't we automatically receive EVERYTHING there is in the Cartel Shop period? Or are we going to be expected to pay real money for extra coins so we can get those sweet extras thereby causing us to pay more than our subscription fee. Necessary Edit: I would like to state that I do not think I should get everything in the Cartel Shop with no effort, I will happily grind for days to acquire an item or perk, however as a subscription paying player I do not feel I should have to invest 1 red cent more than the current sub fees to acquire said items.

cant wait to see everyone QQ about your post but I absolutely agree with you... I am very sad to say that today I realized that the true MMO genre is dead. I do not know where to get my fix anymore as every game out there seems to be catering to the lowest common denominator.

the carbonite chamber looks kinda cool but I wish they would have just developed this content for MMO gamers and stuck with the subscription model. I love the game I really do, but I actually might quit forever after F2P goes live. I suppose there are other MMOs out there that can just take up my time waiting for the next good one... like I did with wow waiting for this game for a few years.

I want ZERO F2P. sorry for the confusion. #1 I am a subscriber, have been since having a sub was possible, and will continue to be one untill the game is dead. #2 I did not I did not click 3 or say 3 is enough because I do not believe that anyone that is F2P should be in any group with a P2P player unless the P2P player is ok with it and specifically clicks a F2P warzone or FP or whatever. I do not want F2P and I think it is a BAD BAD move on the part of a greedy corporation. However the OP has a biased poll that reflects nothing of the true feelings of the community about the F2P model. No one I know wants F2P. As a seasoned MMO veteran it seems to me all introducing F2P does is tell MMO gamers its time to jump ship. And you do not have to listen to me because I was in the military I only mentioned that to shed light on the fact that I am not going to just choose A or B when the option I clearly want is T. yeah man, I had a thriving custom channel named Alliance with like 5 ****** guilds in it now it is gone and not usable... bummer huh.
