  1. Um. Since sometime in March, I think? (After I completed it, our gmotd may have said "~Livia _finally_ slept with Vector~" for a few days. Maybe. I admit to nothing.)
  2. If my server is a destination server, then yes, I am excited. If not, then no, I am kind of horrified.
  3. I have never seen OS aggro before the first wave of damage hits. Another thing that I have noticed (just noticed, though, not paid attention to enough to know if there is more than a cosmetic difference - my sniper is 50, but my gs is only 15) is that the gs tends to spend more time down in cover - for the snipe equivalent, for example, you don't pop up to shoot until the end of the activation period, where with the sniper you are up and aiming.
  4. There is an interesting discussion here about how people handled Full of spoilers, but now that you are done, that is ok.
  5. Yeah, what they said. I knew about that going in too. I knew about the big thing in chapter 2 also, and that was fine as well. And then halfway or so through chapter 2 I spoiled the big twist at the end of chapter 3. None of it mattered, the story is still great if you let yourself engage with it.
  6. My agent misses him something fierce.
  7. My sniper loves to flirt with the boys on the Pub teams and get them to try and kill her. She is remarkably distracting.

    Agent Ending

You have to spare him and I think Chance too. As far as talking Jadus down goes, I find that option super unsatisfying, because it is logically inconsistent. He doesn't need your codes, they will fire on their own anyway if left alone long enough, it just won't be as neat and orderly as he planned. Given that, he has no reason not to kill you, unless whatever he did to you in his office when making you his 'vessel' (ugh) was really significant to him in some way that implies that killing you would dramatically diminish him.
  9. My guild has 6 people in it and has a guild bank. It may be 16 characters?
  10. To be fair, this was just my kneejerk reaction. It may balance out. It may be better. Won't really know until we get to play with it.
  11. This. My burst is what made me scary. *sadface*
  12. Livia finally slept with him. Went with the mean sounding choice because she really needed to tell him that she loved him and he didn't need to prove anything to her, and that was the only path that gave her that option.
  13. It's a shame they didn't quote the poetry, because it's awesome. (I am very glad I went back and cleaned up most of my typos.)
  14. I think you are really doing yourself a disservice if you try to play the agent story strictly by alignment. It's more complicated than that, and several of the decisions you have to make deserve more thought.
  15. That was the impression that I got as well. I don't think either she or they ever considered her to be Chiss.
  16. Did you seriously just imply that anyone who is sterile doesn't deserve a loving relationship? edit: I know that that was not exactly what you said, but that is the logical conclusion to your line of reasoning there, and honestly, it's repugnant. Please think about what you say and how it may hurt people.

    Pvp - scoreboard

People cry about that? I don't think I have seen anyone whine about that in any kind of serious fashion, ever.
  18. Of course they do, in a general sense, whether through wiring or socialization. I just don't think it is relevant here - it's not really what I was getting at. My point was more that when someone adds something like 'speaking as a woman' or 'from a woman's perspective' to their opinion they are often making the implication (intentional or not) that they are speaking for other women too, and unless the discussion is distinctly about something gender-related bringing that kind of baggage to the conversation doesn't help anyone. There are two main reasons why I feel this way. First, it doesn't really help the speaker make her point, because people tend to be slightly more dismissive of women's opinions (not that they should be), and thus by bringing that into a conversation where it isn't relevant the speaker's opinions are more likely to be discounted. And secondly, while some things may play out in certain ways statistically across large groups (women vs. men for example) individual people are much more complicated than that, and whether one is a woman or a man is not much more than a very vague (and often wrong) predictor of their leanings on a subject, so again, not relevant unless the discussion is related to that group distinction. (Also, I neither need nor want someone else's opinion that has nothing to do with mine to be automatically associated with me just because we share a gender, and that that happens is another side effect of using phrases like this.) (Apologies if this sounds extra b****y, I just woke up and am having some trouble judging my tone.)
  19. When you do that it just diminishes your argument by making it a gender thing. It's not, it's an individual preference thing. While there sometimes I may find a person's physical packaging super hot, that is generally just a sexual attraction, and not something that leads into relationships beyond a physical thing, unless they as a person are also attractive to me. For attraction to someone in relationship terms it is the person and not their packaging that matters. While nice packaging helps, it's not necessarily essential. I can't recall having rejected someone that I found to be hot in the kind of way that would lead me into a relationship just because I wasn't attracted to their packaging. It's a lot less important than who the person is, I mean. I don't think SCORPIO does it for me, although I find her to be interesting, certainly. She is no less a 'real' person than any of the other companions, though, robot or not - so it's not really any more of a stretch for someone to be attracted to her than to, say, Corso or Kaliyo or whomever.
