Rules are fairly easy on this one - kills / low deaths have been priority no. 1 since its release. On a sidenote: Icykill, you may want to work on your punctuation, ending every single sentence with '...' makes for a very annoying read. Just one period is enough. Or sometimes even an exclamation mark!

Most people are keeping this thread civil, and providing reasonable arguments against your idea of a buff for maras, yet you fail to provide a decent argument for your own case except very childish replies like 'kid tries so hard' and 'you can't read/count/w/e'. But by all means, continue, I think no one is going to be convinced of your argument anymore anyway. At least, no one who has played more than only one class (ie mara).

Oh dear, is this thread still going on? I'm surprised scylence is still not tired of making personal insults almost every post and holding onto an idea he seems to be the only one to support. So maras are not fotm anymore, for the first time since, like, april 2012? Big deal. I still get high damage when I play my mara and sent and I'm not even mediocre on them (no video, sorry). Have you tried concealment operative? Maybe we should give them 4s unstoppable with every HS/BS as well? I personally find it refreshing to have reasonable counterchances against maras.

I never said writing u instead of you had to do with grammar. I just find it ironic that you criticize others for, let's say, 'abusing' the language by wrong grammar, while you are equally abusing it by using u and ur. Well ok, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you're nodeguarding on your tanksin every game that you don't get 700 dps on average. But depending on the spec, and assuming decent dps uptime (in the zerg most of the time) I will get an average of 900 dps (deception), 1200 dps (smash), 1400 dps (lethality op)... and those aren't even impressive numbers, I'm not that good tbh, but 700 average is really bad, I have 700 average dps on my lvl 29 sentinel... Of course it is about goods or bads. You can balance the game around people doing 200 dps every game (or less) but then good players will just break it. It's really not hard for one dps to occupy one healer. With more healers, yes, there are going to be terribly difficult tactics involved (like, interrupting, cc, focusing same target, omg)...

Oh dear... Thread full of bads BTW: 1600 hps isn't that high, and 500-700 dps is just plain awful. Seriously? Sleeping? I know many people are bad but if you try to defend a theoretical argument, don't assume that your team is made up of bads please. Of course hps are usually higher than dps, that's why teams usually have more dps than heals -> to kill stuff. Put a competent deception + carnage on the 2 healers and the other 4 can attend to other matters, problem solved

Maybe you got deception assassin confused with lightning sorc? If spike counts as a cc then legshot most definitely counts as a cc. Ok officially it's a root. Two L2P points out of this: - As a sentinel you probably shouldn't be sologuarding, an operative popping out of stealth is bound to have an advantage, because otherwise they have none. - If the operative does the rotation as you say, you will have full resolve after 1.5 seconds and then proceed to destroy the operative. Also, did I mention defensive cooldowns? Operatives practically have none.

I had 2126 hps yesterday (operative) but the top records on Red Eclipse servers are currently held by operative and sorcerer, both 2.5k hps (operative slightly higher) so I'd say they're rather competitive.

You just descended to common troll level. We've been having this discussion months ago, you're saying nothing new, nor are you answering to any of the arguments stated earlier in this thread. On the Red Eclipse server we went from 2 or maybe 3 ranked teams to 15 to 20 teams. Maybe you're just jealous.

1 guy on our server got 1.99M heals the other day, just short of 2M. Pretty epic, don't know if he will claim though Ranked game, novare stalemate ofc

What is this... I don't even... Where did you get the idea that people who grouped up with guildies or w/e are scared of other premades? On my server (Red Eclipse EU) most normals are premade vs premade anyway, where each side has 4 pugs. Often the 'pug-quality' decides the game, not the fact that there are premades in it. I've seen some pretty horrible premades as well. I pug often as well, as long as you are a good pvper and your fellow players aren't complete ******* you can beat premades. Also to tell them 'go play ranked, cowards' is just plain stupid. For ranked you need 8 rather carefully picked players/classes. For a premade you can pick 4 whichever. Can even q 4 healers, doesn't matter. Getting ranked together also takes a lot of time, not everyone wants that on every moment of the day. I mean, it's normal warzones. Either get better or just get over it. Edit: the guy above me said it best in his last paragraph.

I've healed quite a few TFB HMs now where we've had a concealment operative, who puts most other dps to shame on many occasions...

The thing is: 1. It was my first vid and our first night as full conceal ranked. 2. You didn't watch the full vid, there are quite clearly a few AB+HS gank moments. And Snave, I did record a bit of that Novare, only didn't get the opening on West as I was interrupting from south. Also forgot to put any Novare material in. May come later in a 'Concealment Ranked Ganked' vid or w/e. I wanted to show that the strategy for most of the night was actually just interrupt, interrupt, interrupt since it was our only chance. Yeah I understand what you're saying, I should've just made the title 'Concealment ranked game' since it was more about that than about how concealment is fine. However, we won one game against a pretty good normal setup ranked team (we had 8 conceal, so no healers), and we lost (and this was silly, forgot to put it in vid) a Novare with 2% left. One of the ancient hypergates was really close but because we had the wrong idea about the points system we decided not to interrupt the cap and pick up a few orbs so as to not feed them kills. The video is not about the concealment playstyle since I'm very much aware that the particular things I'm doing myself with my char (waiting until it's my turn to interrupt) isn't the most awesome you can do with concealment. Concealment ranked, however, is pretty epic, and winning a ranked game like that as well. Sorry if I made it unclear. Hope you can appreciate the video more from this point of view.

Edit: This thread is not particularly, like the title suggests, suggesting that concealment is fine, the title is more meant as some kind of trolling. It's mostly about our night of running a full concealment operatives ranked team.
