I was so shocked about this that I had to make a post. So I was in a huttball match in lowbie pvp and I was using my hybrid Guardian tank. It was a really good game. The other team scored first, then we scored then I got the next score with some pretty sick force leap, force push, force leap maneuvering. The rest of the game I was guarding the ball carrier when I could and throwing taunts down like crazy. As you can see in the pic I did a measely 100k damage but with a whopping 50k protection with 9 medals. I definitely expected to be MVP but nope look at the pic. http://imgur.com/NOJiq&RiYkG

Glad I rolled a sorc healer and not an operative healer. Hey, at least you can go invisible and have a good emergency cloak getaway. One more thing, and I dont think this makes operative healing on the same level as sorc healing, but when a sorc is completely out of energy they can't do much until it regens. An operative can at least spam their energy less 30m damage till it regens. Again I don't think that makes them even but I'm just making some observations.

I think that is a good solution. It might even encourage less ragequitters. It isn't any fun to just get farmed. WE ARE NOT VEGETABLES!!!!

I wouldn't mind pvp being at an even playing field for everyone, but this is my first mmo. I'm use to competitive games where one player doesn't have an advantage simply because they have paid more or played more hours. Usually their advantage comes from hard work and natrual talent.

I think the sniper is a great class. Like most people are saying it is not played a lot because it is hard to be good at it. That doesn't mean that it isn't good. I would say it is underrated not underpowered. My first few wzs from lvl 11-13 i placed top 3 DPS most of the games. You definitely have to think before you attack. Basically you have to play like a sniper.

I agree with your observations. I think healers make for excellent tanks.

It really is a great server. I think it is the only heavy pop pvp server on the east coast. I started a toon there after being sick of very long pvp queues on kraysiss obelisk. I haven't been to Illium, only level 35, but I think it is fairly balanced faction wise. If you can believe this i've actually been in a few republic vs republic huttballs. It might just be that the empire below 50 pvpers aren't good but from what I've noticed it seems fairly balanced.

I agree guardians are great. I haven't hit lvl 50 yet but I still do a lot of pvp. I usually get top medals, plus top protection, and decent dps. By the way what spec are you using, and where do you get 50% armor?

I've had the same problem on my first server (light population). I got so tired of it that I rerolled on a heavy population PvP server and WZ's fill up fine and its a lot of fun. I know it sucks rerolling but I've been doing dark side choices this time to make it more refreshing.

Hey I'm level 23 on Taris because I've done a lot of pvp/dailies and space missions. I've noticed that when I do the sidequests I only get 5 xp for completing them. I assume it is because I am so overleveled. So my question is how many levels above the mission level do you have to be to get reduced xp. I'm wondering so I can figure out which missions I can skip. Thanks

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some advice on this spec I came up with for the Jedi Guardian. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500fMh0zZhGMMrhddMMZ0z.1 It would be used in the Soresu form so I didn't waste any talents in Shien Form. I got invincible in Defense tree and overhead slash in vigilance along with the DoT buffs. I also picked up the talents in vigilance that boosted defense. I haven't actually tested this build because I'm not at 50 yet, but I just wanted to get your opinions on the idea. Thanks !
