  1. Wow, 3000 cc for a reskin. I guess there is a sucker born every minute.
  2. I've been trying to do hm df with 2 sages/sorc heals. Has anyone successfully done this? And how? This has been on alts and I haven't had any problem with this fight on my main. We have a scoundrel/sage or 2 scoundrels usually. 2 Sages just seems to be really difficult, so I was wondering if anyone had any strats doing it this way.
  3. I would rather have another voidstar than another huttball. I want the option to never play huttball again. Even if that means not getting a que pop for a couple hours. Voidstar has been my favorite warzone since launch even with its flaws. Hmmm sabacc. Still wonder what's up with that table on esseles and why it lights up?
  4. Would be nice to be able to do real custom colors and not the silly dyes. I know I was pumped when I first heard about dyes, but I was disappointed when I found out how it was going to be done. Have to wonder really why there is a price difference for these dyes. Sad to see them make the stuff people really want rare for some reason. So odd to see GW2 and FF14 have much more color customization. The game revolving around the cartel market is getting old.
  5. Yep just seems to be a trend in the game. Seems like ops are becoming more class specific.
  6. I am pretty much into the end game raiding as the focus of why I play the game. I am in a guild that downed nim dreadguard before the nerf. It seems as if the game has been going sour since nim tfb was released. I was in a group that could steam roll hm tfb and sv in under 3 hours total. Nim tfb was only out for a week, then people started slowly fading away. I wasn't sure if it was the game or summer though. My guild has ended up disbanding 2 good raid teams since then to now. This is just sad since the groups have been around for over a year. These were good players that have been tough to replace. We have been trying to rebuild since then. We have had multiple people that could put up good dps numbers but not the great numbers needed to down the nim content. It was rough seeing a dps shadow being kicked from group simply because he couldn't put up wild-berry/knightrider numbers. We've also had to kick some commandos too. It's been odd seeing people switch to gunslingers so they can put up the dps numbers to down content rather than play the class they like. It hasn't just been our guild losing people either. I've seen a few guilds fizzle out. Guildies with alts on other servers are having similar experiences. It sounds as if people are just getting tired of the continued wiping. I know other guild raid groups had been stuck on nim dreadguard forever it seems even with a nerf. I often wonder if bioware knows how bad opsing can be? I have 10 lvl 55s and have done tons of pug runs. It surprises me how people still have issues with operator 9 on sm. I know it took lvl 55 for my first guild to finish hm ec. Do any of the non-elite guilds test these ops? Nim dreadguards demonstrated that the majority of players were lacking. People had to be perfect and great just wasn't enough. Grats to the guilds downing the stuff. Though I wonder the total numbers of subs downing the content. The 78 loot seems like an apology of some sort to help the people who haven't been invited to do nim stuff. This just seems backwards. I am just in a state of disappointment. I still want to play the game but am finding the lack of progression so frustrating. I wonder do I need to try and transfer my 22 toons to a server where progression is happening. And hope they have the number of players needed. Nothing is worse than being the 9th man in a raiding guild. Or do I become a social player like my old guild. Or give up the game altogether.
  7. Date? Give us some kind of ballpark please.
  8. Yes, yes they are. That's what ruined pvp on my original low population server. Hope they are working on cross server ques. They really should have more pvp que options. I would rather wait for an hour or two for a decent match than just get stomped on all the time trying to solo que. Funny that people quit doing ranked by the end of release day to go back to stream rolling in unranked. And now in ranked, hybrids are ruining that.
  9. For hm tfb/sv, 2k should be enough to run those. With an armor debuff, your numbers will be better too. But yeah bioware is ruining the game by wanting perfect dpsers for the nim content. Not all shadows can be like wild-berry and knightrider. I've seen more people quit since nim tfb went live. Kinda feels like the 78 gear was done in an effort to help the under performing classes.
  10. Getting old. I have too many alts to do this. Not even 1 week into it and I'm getting bored with pvp again. I've still only done 1 arena queing for regs. Ugh, I hope 2.5 is soon.
  11. Still isn't fixed. Why is this such a hard thing to fix?
  12. More of a check for raid awareness. The sad thing is that the majority of players just don't have the level of awareness to get it done. The lack of raid awareness is why my old guild needed to be level 55 for hm ec. I'm not sure bioware is aware of how many players aren't that raid aware. I'm thinking only the better players are testing the content on pts. Probably why so few people are clearing nim tfb and sv. Sad that now you need near perfection to do any new content when so many players don't play that way.
  13. Choosing between arenas and warzones should have been an option. Seems like this should have been a no-brainer option for pvp. I have only had one arena so far. People have already gone back to super queing for regular pvp and pub stomping. I am already starting to feel burned out from the old pvp same old same old. I hope bioware is starting to work on cross server pvp cause it doesn't feel as if pvp really benefiting from new stuff. Oh well, guess I can hope 2.5 will really work on balancing stuff to make pvp enjoyable.
  14. Did they change something with the regen rate of ammo for tanking? I seem to burning through my ammo quicker since 2.4. A sage healer in group feels that his heals were hitting for less too, so was wondering if there were any changes done.
  15. What? We are very excited about all of the data we will be collecting when Season 1 begins. So how far off is 2.5? There still isn't a date for season 1. So how long until "non wild-berry" shadows can dps in harder ops?
  16. Just have plenty of alts. That way you can play fotm. From what it sounds like agents/smugglers will be getting nerfed, so my guess is you will want to play sentinel/marauder for end game raiding.
  17. The sad thing is that customer service is getting worse and worse. People are so used to terrible customer service that they have no problem dealing with what's going on with the game.
  18. I don't like force management on sage, unless you are running tk spec. I don't see making ammo more like sage being a move in the right direction. I would prefer it not to be messed with than go in a wrong direction. Trying to do a burn phase or messing up my rotation is about the only time I really have issues with ammo. Interesting they notice the classes people are going with now for harder operations. Right now it just seems like gunslingers/snipers are the way to go. But what do you expect when you make fights that are so tight on dps? I don't see nerfing the higher dps classes as being a good thing either. These higher dps classes are allowing people to bring in the lesser dps classes to cover the difference. Not all dpsers are idiot savants being perfect on a boss fight all the time. Utility can be nice but that just means you aren't dpsing the boss like you should.
  19. Yeah this seems like a no brainer that this should have been an option. I don't think the wait is a big deal. I never want to play huttball again and don't have a problem doing only arenas. I know in one day we've seen people quit queing ranked and go back to super queing regular warzones to steam roll pugs. Is it too difficult to add 2 que buttons for options?
  20. I can't believe these models made it to live. At least they took off the sill back pack off the trooper armor. I know Bioware had made a comment about the armor not being set in just a possibility too and not being a for sure thing. This is so disappointing they act like that and then maybe only change the color of it. I guess they want to give us ugly gear so we buy stuff off the cartel market.
  21. Hmmm, 2.5? How far off is that? Are you guys hoping all the sup par dpsers hang out while their classes are getting fixed? I know we had to kick a non Wild-berry shadow dps from our group even though he could parse decent numbers. Nothing like being into end-game raiding but unable to participate.
  22. So sad bioware won't say a thing about the price either other than it will return. This is such a price gouge. I've been a sub since launch and now nioware wants another $20 for a dye that they are manipulating in game. Like op said there wasn't anything special required making the color compared to the others. The fact that everything subs have asked for is being added to the cartel market and not any other way in game. Then they are reskinning existing gear and making it bound to legacy. It would be nice to see some original gear for rep.
  23. Definitely trying to milk us for every cent we got with these dyes. So sad too. Tried out final fantasy 14 and was amazed at their dye system.
  24. Think gear makes a difference. Maybe they could play with the expertise numbers and actually try to balance pvp. I know I can be killed on my scoundrel if focused, but I have no pvp gear. I've always felt the problem with pvp is everyone does a little too much damage and heals to begin with. I know when recruit gear was the starting point that one smash was usually an instakill. It really wasn't any fun to spend more time spawning and running to objectives then being in a fight. Just feels odd calling it pvp when you really don't really do any fighting.
