  1. LOL and just kill the whole arsenal/gunner tree eh? HIB and Full Auto both feed off of grav round. If you increase the timer to 5 secs you killing the whole talent tree. Full Autos CD is cleared by grav round via talent, increasing the CD would make that talent useless, also you couldnt build the debuff stacks that are necessary for Gunnery with that kind of CD to the main weapon. What you suggest would effectively kill the Gunner Commando and Arsenal Merc for PVE and PVP both. This game shoudl not soley be based on PVP but either way this is a stupid idea, grav round isnt that big of a deal. DPS is going to DPS get used to it. And how man star wars troopeers have you seen in cloth armor?
  2. Noones on the chopping block. Reference or im calling bs. Neither class in no way needs nerfs. Commandos are the counter to sorcs, and sorcs are a counter to melee and melee is the counter to commando.. People need to stop crying and l2p.
  3. if they nerf grav round they have effectively killed the gunnery tree, which i think is what most of you want.
  4. I find this absolutely hillarious that all you crybabies think... "look it worked for getting OPs nerfed, lets cry cry cry till we get it." Doesnt work that way. The devs dont rebalance based on cry babies in the forums. You are all just making fools of yourselves and should be embarrassed. You will all just keep getting owned and waiting for your nerf and getting owned some more. Not bacuse anyone is overpowered, but because you are to lazy to actualy play your class and counter others and would much rather wait on nerfs to win... and get owned.

  6. Sorc/Sage is the ebst overall class for control, DPS and healing. No reason not to play one.
  7. Its definately a L2P issue. Stop all this crying and learn to play your class. And yes, the sage/sorc is worse... but do you guys see what happened when people started crying about the sage/sorc? Everyone that rolled sage/sorc started yelling "no no no look at the merc/commando, he only pushed 1 button!!!"
  8. We have no interrupt, no mobility, and no escapes. Not only that but you would have us with no DPS as well. Quit your crying in every single commando/merc thread. They are working as intended. BTW this thread wasnt 3 weeks old.
  9. If you think thats what mercs/commandos got, roll one and find out. Theres no mobility at all andno interrupt which hurts us in both PVP and PVE. Grav/tracer is the main setup for the rotation of arsenal/gunnery, its going to get used alot. If your getting owned by long range DPS AFTER you let them build stacks, id say working as intended. Not to mention they have no escape ability at all, so once your on one hes dead. Commandos and Mercs are DPS classes and they do it just fine. Stop all the whining and learn to counter it instead of getting on here crying about every class that gives you trouble.
  10. You guys do understand that the tradeoff for the DPS is the commando being stationary. Like I said, if you nerf grav round and its ability to stack debuffs your killing the commando in BOTH PVP and PVE. They get no interrupt and have to remain stationary in order to use most of their attacks... if you guys cant deal with a DPS that is immobile than that is your problem. I have a commando and get my face punched in whenever a melee with half a brain gets on me.. nothing a commando can do in that situation. The commando just has to hope that its allowed to sit back and do its thing, and if you allow that, you suck. No nerf needed. Also the commando/merc has no getaway. They cant get away from anything, they just have to stand and deliver... see the downsides here?
  11. Again, commandos/mercs are stationary when using these skills... they are stationary 90% of the time. They have no interrupts, at all. What more do you want? They are a ranged DPS class that has a armor debuff... l2p
  12. Agreed. Commandos/Mercs dont have any interrupts so rely soley on DPS and stacking debuffs. Nerfing their stack would greatly diminish them in both PVE nad PVP and they are already struggling in both. With no interrupts they struggle in hard PVE, and if anyone with a brain gets on them in PVP they are destroyed by interupts and stunns. The commando/merc simply cant function with someone in his face interrupting him. But most of the people complaining probably just sit back and let them build stacks and DPS. Ignore the commando/merc and let him sit back and DPS, you goign to have a bad day... thats what they are made for. And most of them are not just spamming one attack, they are just stacking up the debuffs before they unleash hell. They do a crapload of DPS but they are stationary most of the time. If you cant deal with a stationary DPS, then the problem is not with the commando/merc.
  13. Commandos and Mercs are just as killable as any other class if you engage them properly. They are rannged DPS and play like it... build they're stacks and proceed to DPS while trying to keep people off them. If yo can counter that you will win, if you cant... just cry nerf until you can i guess. From what Im hearing people think its to easy on the Commando so they want a longer timer on grav/missile. Doing that would greatly diminish the commando/merc utility in PVP and PVE since they dont have an interrupt and rely solely on DPS and stacking debuffs to contribute to any group their in. Nerf grav/missile., kill the commando/merc in PVP and PVE.
  14. When Im playing my Gunner Commando my usualy mindeset is... Im not here to hold the line, Im here to destroy the enemy line. Im here to deal out as much damage as possible, and have the toughness to stand and deliver.
